Chapter 4:

His Guide

Veil of the Shadow Hunter

-Mr. Eflok clasped the small ring in his hand, feeling its cold metal against his palm. "Leegna," he said, kneeling down to his son's level, "take this ring. It's very important. No matter what happens tonight, remember that you are protected." "We'll be back soon. Be brave."

-With one last look, Mr. Eflok and his wife left, their footsteps echoing in the stillness of the night. The shadows grew longer as a sinister fate loomed.

-The night sky was rent with the sound of crumpling metal and exploding flames. The car, now a mangled wreckage, lay in the middle of the road, surrounded by emergency lights and frantic activity. Amid the chaos, young Leegna huddled alone, clutching the ring tightly as he watched the devastation unfold. The scene was a blur of sirens, smoke, and frantic voices. Mr. Eflok's last protective words were now a distant echo, and Leegna's small figure seemed lost in the overwhelming confusion.

-Hours later, as dawn broke, a solitary figure approached the scene. Master Enzok , with his calm demeanor, surveyed the wreckage before turning his attention to the small child huddled by the roadside.

"Come with me, child," Enzok said gently, extending a hand. "It's not safe here. I will take you to a place where you can be safe and learn."

-Leegna, his heart heavy with loss and confusion, took Enzok's hand, leaving behind the remnants of his old life as he followed the mentor into an uncertain future.

-Years later, Leegna trained under Master Enzok, the ring always a silent presence on his finger.

-After the training session, Leegna found an old, hidden journal in the mentor's study. Flipping through its pages, he discovered detailed accounts of his parents and cryptic notes about the accident.

-His heart raced as he read, piecing together the fragments of the past. The journal hinted at a deeper conspiracy and a hidden truth about his parents' fate. The clues were scattered, but they pointed towards a larger mystery awaiting resolution.

-With a lot of questions in his min ,Leegna tried to act like he didn't saw anything, and was waiting for the right time.

-But not everything goes as planed, with a bit of a smile on his face, thinking that he is getting closer to the truth , his phone rang ,and the message changed his life yet again.

Enzok:''Lee boy,you are grown man now, I taught you a lot , you are like a son to me, but forgive me, for I have some urgent business to attend to. I will leave the country now ,remember you are not alone , and always keep your head up, cya soon ! ''

-Again, the young boy was left all alone . Even though the path he was walking one was the right one , new obstacles were there to twist his fate even more than ever. All he had left was an old dusty apartment , his ring and no money at all.

-As he turned 18 years that month ,he started working for the sake of his own existence ,not being able to indulge into anything sweet nor sour . Many times wanting to end it all, Leegna's life slowly turned into a robotic way of living ,as he began to feel all depressed and anxious left with nothing to do. Spending his days the same, growing up into a person not fit for the society he was close to abandoning even the whereabouts about his parents , the tragic past and the current livestock like-life.
