Chapter 7:
Veil of the Shadow Hunter
-Few days has already passed after their meeting. There were no similar events for the time being as Leegna was once again trapped inside of his own body.
-The sky hung heavy with storm clouds, mirroring the gloom that had settled over Leegna's soul. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the world outside seemed to blur into a somber haze. Each day bled into the next, a monotonous cycle of drudgery that left Leegna feeling like a bird trapped in a cage, its wings clipped by invisible chains.
-The small, dimly lit room that Leegna called home was suffocating in its familiarity. The walls, adorned with faded tapestries and worn-out trinkets, seemed to close in, reflecting the confines of Leegna's own mind. The once comforting silence now felt oppressive, punctuated only by the occasional distant murmur of the small town he lived in that seemed to go on without him.
- His thoughts drifted aimlessly, like leaves caught in an autumn breeze, with no clear direction or purpose. Leegna's gaze shifted to the small, dusty table beside him, cluttered with remnants of forgotten ambitions and half-hearted attempts at purpose.
-The weight of unfulfilled promises and the burden of choices he had yet to make pressed down upon him. The world outside felt vast and indifferent, an expanse that mocked his inability to grasp its opportunities. It was as if every step he took was met with an invisible barrier, preventing him from breaking free and finding meaning.
Leegna: '' I guess I am of the biggest Sinners out there, am i right '' . - '' Meaning of life huh , truer joke was never introduced to the humanity it seems'' . -Said Leegna as his eyes locked on the ring.
-The ring feeling cold on his finger had a normal shape , with dark velvet color and it looked like it was old. Little did he know that the Ring had hidden meaning and was not some old treasure his father left him with . Being ignorant about his family's final gift he wished that the ring was at least gold so he could sell it, but quick enough those thoughts escaped his mind as he started to recall some unfamiliar memory.
-Thinking too much burnt out his energy , making him too tired to eat. He then , went to the other room to take some rest. He was left alone with his thoughts, imprisoned by his own doubts and fears.
-Afraid of the upcoming nightmare's he is used to ,Leegna lied down with his headphones trying to distant from the world. The moment he fall asleep he entered the dream state. But was that really a dream , was he showed with some glimpse from his past memories or future events.
-As he lay there, restless and unable to escape the oppressive weight of his dream, a sudden shiver coursed through him. It was as if the veil between his world and another was momentarily lifted. His body tensed, and his heart raced, though there was no immediate threat or cause for alarm.
-In the depth of the darkness behind his eyelids, fragmented images began to coalesce—a flash of intense light, a shadowy figure moving swiftly, and a distant echo of voices. These glimpses came and went in rapid succession, each one fleeting yet vivid, as though a hidden part of his mind was trying to communicate something urgent and profound.
