Chapter 1:

Chapter 1: A Shrine Maiden Without a Shrine

Sakura Miko The Celestial Shrine Maiden's Rebirth

Miko found herself in Tokyo 🇯🇵, confused 😯 and overwhelmed 😱 by the bustling streets 🚗 and neon lights 💡. Though she still retained some of her celestial aura ✨, her abilities were weakened 🩸. The gods ⛩️ had abandoned her 💔.

With no place to go 🏠, she wandered 🚶‍♀️ aimlessly until she stumbled upon a run-down shrine ⛩️ on the outskirts of the city 🏢. The wooden torii gate ✨ was chipped, the sacred bells 🔔 rusted, and the main building barely stood against the test of time ⏳. Weeds 🌱 crept up the stone path 🏰, and the air was thick with forgotten prayers 🙏.

An old priest 👷️, sensing something special about her, took her in 🍷. Despite her divine origins ✨, Miko struggled with mundane tasks 🎑—sweeping the grounds 🍂, handling offerings 💞, and, worst of all, technology 💻.

"What's this rectangular box 📝? Why is there no scroll?"

"That's a smartphone 📱, Miko-san."

"😱 EHHH?!"

At first, she fumbled with everything 🙈. She nearly burned down 🔥 the kitchen 🍽️ while trying to cook rice 🍚, mixed up purification rituals ⛩️, and, to the priest’s horror 😱, mistook a vending machine 🎪 for a donation box 🌟.

"These drinks 🥤 are free, right? The gods ⛩️ have blessed us with unlimited sacred water 💧!"

"Miko-san, put that back!"

Still, despite the chaos 🩸 she caused, the shrine began to feel like home 🏠. The priest 👷️, though exasperated, grew fond of her presence 💕. For the first time since her fall 🛣️, Miko felt a sense of purpose 🌟, even if it was just cleaning fallen leaves 🍂 and praying 🙏 under a dilapidated roof 🏢.

However, reality soon set in 🎯. The shrine was on the verge of closing ❌. Donations 💰 were scarce, and visitors 🤓 were rare. If nothing changed, the last remnant of the sacred site ⛩️ would be lost forever 😥.

Determined 💥 to regain her power ✨ and return to the celestial realm ⛩️, Miko decided to make the shrine famous again 🌟. But how? The answer came in the form of an internet stream 📻.

One evening 🌜, she overheard 👂 a group of teenagers 🥳 chatting nearby. Their conversation was filled with terms she barely understood—"viewers" 👁, "subscribers" 📈, "viral content" 💥. Curiosity piqued, she listened closely 🔍. The old priest 👷️, upon noticing her interest, explained the basics of internet culture 💻, albeit in the most traditional way he could.

"People watch these moving pictures 🎥 and share them. If something is entertaining 😄, it spreads like the wind 🌬️, carrying stories far and wide."

That night 🌙, Miko spent hours ⏳ trying to understand the digital world 💻. She struggled with setting up an account 🔐, accidentally ordered twenty cartons of rice 🍚 online, and somehow ended up in an intense battle 🎮 with an AI assistant 🤖 that refused to recognize her voice 🤣.

"🔊 Siri, open the sacred scriptures!"

"I'm sorry, I don't understand the request."

"😡 Nai yo! You dare defy a celestial maiden ✨?!"

Finally, with the help of a kind university student 🎓 who frequented the shrine ⛩️, Miko set up her first live broadcast 📻. Dressed in her shrine maiden outfit 🌸, she introduced herself to the world: "Elite shrine maiden, daze!"
