Report Of Zallo - Zallo Village Arc

As the morning sun rose in Zallo village Honō and Witz were beginning to embark on their way home, this time walking instead of racing.

It took the pair two days of walking and carriage rides to get back to the capital. Once they got back, the duo went straight to the guild headquarters. After they entered the building, Honō made a detour and went to get a coffee before meeting back up with Witz at the stairs and going up to Armatura’s office.

As they entered the office the pair were greeted by the sight of a very intrigued and surprisingly productive Armatura looking over some transfer forms from a Witonia guild by the name of “rising sun.”

“Well dad we’re back from the mission” sighed Witz as she fell into a chair beside her father's desk.

“Hello, Witz, Honō, how are yous? Also, what took yous so long to deal with 30 C-ranked beasts?” Asked Armatura calmly as he put the forms into a drawer of his desk.

“Other then my shoulder we’re fine also for what took us so long is the fact you forgot to mention the A rank beast that was leading the pack” spoke Honō plainly and tiredly as he also sat down in the other chair beside the desk.

“Ah I see but I suppose you handled it then, Honō?” Questioned Armatura leaning forward with a serious look on his face.

“Yes, the A rank has been dealt with” replied Honō calmly as he sipped his coffee relieving him partially of his tiredness.

“Ha hah I knew you two would be strong enough though I won’t lie to yous either there wasn’t any mention of an A rank beast in the initial report” roared Armatura proudly in laughter as he fell back into his chair.

“Thanks, dad” sighed Witz sarcastically as she slumped lower into her chair.

“Well either way I’m proud of you two, beating an A rank by yourselves. You know that deserves an award, I think,” said Armatura proudly at his daughter and Honō.

“Is it a check for my hospital bills?” Joked Honō putting some ice on his shoulder.

“No, it’s not” laughed Armatura before continuing “it’s a promotion for the both of you. Honō you will now be an A rank member of the guild and Witz you will now be a B rank member of the guild”

Witz sat up in shock while Honō nearly spat out his coffee.

“Sir with all due respect, what about you let us finish the rest of the report first” coughed Honō trying to sound calm.

“Oh, there’s more?” Asked Armatura intrigued as he sat up in his chair clasping his hands together.

“After we defeated the beasts, we were hospitalised sometime after that a man dressed in black came and disposed of the bodies using an aether of darkness to supposedly swallow all the corpses in seconds” stated Honō with utmost seriousness as he sipped his coffee.

“I see is that all we know as of right now?” Questioned Armatura in a curious tone.

“Yep, that’s all we know” said Witz jumping into the conversation.

“Very well, I’ll look into this matter later for now though just celebrate your promotions” cheered Armatura trying to lighten the mood.

As they finished their talk Honō and Witz left the room and begun to go home to rest leaving Armatura in the room by himself. After the duo left the room Armatura opened the drawer of his desk and took out the forms he placed into it when the pair first entered. As he began to look through the transfer forms he started to speak,

“Let’s see what your capable of Ash.”
