Chapter 5: Abyssal Proclamation

Ascension of the Void Monarch

Darkness pulsed around Ren as he gripped the armrests of his newly claimed Abyssal Throne. The surge of power still crackled through his body, his veins humming with raw energy.

The Void Monarch System continued its relentless proclamations:

[Throne Claimed. Authority Recognized.]
[Establishing Abyssal Dominion…]
[Abyssal Forces: 0]

Ren’s fingers twitched. Dominion? Forces? The words stirred something deep within him—an instinctual understanding that sent chills down his spine.

This wasn’t just about becoming stronger.

He was meant to rule.

The empty void before him shimmered, and a holographic interface spread out in front of his eyes. A massive blackened map, filled with unclaimed territories and scattered remnants of abyssal creatures.

Ren leaned forward, his gaze sharp.

This was his kingdom-to-be.

A deep chuckle rumbled from within him, darker than before.

“A king without subjects… Let’s change that.”

With a thought, he activated Abyssal Command.

[Summon First Shadow.]

The ground before the throne trembled. A jagged crack split open, shadows writhing as an eerie, twisted humanoid began to rise from the abyss itself.

A figure knelt before him—shrouded in black mist, its form flickering like a phantom. A single glowing sigil burned on its forehead, identical to the mark on Ren’s own hand.

The System spoke:

[First Abyssal Lieutenant Created.]
[Name: ???]
[Title: Shadow General]

The figure slowly raised its head. Its glowing crimson eyes locked onto Ren’s.

And then—it spoke.

“Your will is absolute, my lord.”

Ren smirked.

This was only the beginning.
