Chapter 10:
Will of Fate
With 457 players remaining, the tension in the underground facility was unbearable. The survivors were divided into three groups:
The Fighters – Those who were willing to play and adapt, like Takeshi, Misaki, and Kenji.
The Desperate – Those who wanted to escape but lacked the strength or strategy.
The Doomed – Those who had lost the will to live.
Kaito Matsumura: The Schemer
Kaito had been silent during the games, but in the background, he had been manipulating others to sacrifice themselves for his survival. He whispered false hope into the ears of the desperate, feeding them lies about a secret exit.
“It’s just past the east wing. The guards won’t see you if you go now.”
One by one, they fell for his deception. As they made their way toward the supposed exit, the guards eliminated them on sight. Kaito smirked. Fewer players meant fewer obstacles in his way.
Takeshi’s Group: A Plan to Fight Back
Takeshi, Yusuke, Anri, Kenji, and Misaki sat in a secluded corner of the facility. They had agreed—if they wanted to survive, they needed to take control.
“We need to figure out who’s running this,” Anri said, her detective instincts kicking in.
Kenji nodded. “And we need a strategy to manipulate the rules to our advantage.”
Yusuke, still thinking about his mother, clenched his fists. “Whatever we do, we can’t let them turn us into pawns.”
The loudspeakers crackled. “Next game begins in three hours. Prepare yourselves.”
Takeshi exhaled. “Then let’s make sure we’re ready.”
The battle for survival was only beginning.
After discussing , Yusuke finds a letter which says that "players don't get money . They h-h-have to survive in this game !"
