First Four tests

The Military Entry Test is starting
It is a test , well , to join the army in Jota Kingdom. It is held in the capital - Santamaria.You have to be at least 15 years old to try joining in. The test consists of 7 smaller tests.
- Control of your Soul energy for 20 points
- Level of your Soul energy and soul power for 20 points
- Speed for 10 points
- Hand to Hand combat for 10 points
- Accuracy (with a gun and a sword) for 5 points
- knowledge test for 5 points
- 1v1 fight for 30 points
Highest score to get is 100 points. You have to get at least 60 points to join. There are usually around 100 people trying to join , but usually only around 5 or 6 made it in. It is already quite an achievement to make it into any of the 7 divisions , Research unit or
Special Kind of a division. But let's not be getting into details.
Seinaru’s name got read out and he went to the stage.
The test of soul energy control consists of 3 exercises.
The first one is about how efficiently a person can be releasing it constantly. A person goes to a small water bucket and releases
soul energy into it , as much as possible , until he gets exhausted.
When the person gets tired , the test ends. Longer you are without exhaustion , the better the score.Average score is about 30 seconds.Seinaru already knew that he can’t even get one second.
Seinaru possesses a curse on his body , unabling him from releasing soul energy outside of his body.The examiner - Licht Frier - Knew even before he came to the stage , that he wasn't gonna get a score higher than 5 seconds.
- What an interesting specimen - Said Licht.
He fairly graded him with 0 points for Tenshi.
- Louis Morient , please come to the stage - Frier said.
Louis was on his way even before he read his name out.
He came up to the stage with a water bucket.
He inserted his hand inside the bucket , and started to release it.
Louis was trying really hard , to do as good as possible for his body. Morient was so concentrated , that he even didn’t realise
That first exercise ended for him. He did little below average
but 28 seconds isn’t also very bad. These 28 seconds are exactly 4 points. Comparing his score to how Seinaru did , it is almost ideal.
- Now , Stella Llorente , please come to the stage - once again said the examiner.
A pink-haired woman , with a clip in the shape of a star near the right side of her forehead , came up to the stage , and inserted her hand into the bucket. As she did it , she endured exactly one minute
until she got exhausted. As she was coming back to her seat , everyone looked at her with kind of admiration. Like she was some kind of a star , attracting people to her. Her score was literally perfect , exactly 10 points , which is a perfect score.
- Now , we are going to start the second exercise . It is about measuring how much you can strengthen your body using soul energy - Explained Licht.
- All about measurements - muttered Louis.
Seinaru was sitting silently , listening to the words of Licht , as he was captivated by him. When his name got read out , he stood up , like he woke up from a trance , and really lively came up to the stage. He knew this was his chance to show himself. Because of the curse he got when he was born , he couldn’t release the energy outside his body , but he knew he couldn't give up , so he spent his childhood mastering and perfecting strengthening techniques , and those that boost the parameters of his organism. He came to the stage , and punched the same bucket of water from before.
Seinaru perfectly boosted his blood circulation , calmed down his breath and heartbeat , which almost exploded from extreme excitement. He got a score of 100 , which gave him 7 points.
His first points on a test. He was really happy. Licht saw that this boy had a talent for this thing.
- Louis Morient , please come to the stage - called out Frier.

Louis was walking calmly towards the stage. He knew that body boosting techniques weren't his best side. He calmed himself down
and said to himself , that he has to do his best. He punched the water surface. Examiner graded him exactly one point for it.
Louis looked down in sadness , but in a matter of seconds , he started smiling again. He came back to his seat , next to Seinaru.
- Stella Llorente , please to the stage - once again called out Licht.
The star of this show , shining bright like a star should , came to the bucket , punched the water surface , and got another 100% , which is 7 points. Again the eyes of everyone in the test hall were attracted to her , not only was she really strong , but also really cute. Even the examiner had a look on his face , saying “Wow”.
- ekhm ekhm , Now to the last exercise , we will measure the frequency of soul waves coming from you. You will get 1,5 points for the regularity and irregularity of waves. Seinaru got called out , but unfortunately due to his curse got another 0 points.
- Louis Morient , please to the stage. - called out for the third time today, Licht.
Louis walked nonchalantly to the stage. He released soul energy from him twice. Examiner noted 3 points , a perfect score in this exercise.
- There are some interesting newbies this year. I am glad that I chose to be the examiner this year. - said to himself Licht.
- Now the last participant of the first test , Stella Llorente , please come to the stage - Called out Licht.
The star of the show came to the bucket , and in an instant , Licht knew that she got another 100% , which is 3 points.
She got a perfect score from the first test , that's quite an achievement for a newbie like her.
A day after the first test , the second one had to take place.
The tests were inviolable , and nothing could make them not happen.
- dude , what is your score from the first test?
- eee probably 4 points? - Wherever you were in the testing ground , you could hear small-talk like that.
Not everyone was excited , because people who did badly were obviously nervous.Suddenly everyone went quiet as their surroundings started to change , the seats remained as they were , the walls became white , almost like snow , and the stage was in a tone of pure white.
-ekhm ekhm , we are now going to start the second test.
It’s gonna measure the level of your soul power. As you know
Soul Power is made of soul energy , and life energy . The stronger and higher the soul power , the higher score you will get on the test.
Also , try not to exhaust yourselves too quickly - said the examiner Licht Frier.
New whispers started to go around the hall. Everyone got nervous , as they had never done such a test before.
- Don’t be so nervous , it’s not like you can do anything to make your score better - Licht tried to calm down the classroom but it had the opposite effect.
As more and more test participants did really badly on the stage , Until there were only 3 people left to do the test.
- Seinaru Tenshi , please come to the stage - said Frier.
Seinaru walked towards the stage with a smile , probably trying to boost his confidence. When he came on to the stage and released all his power inside his body , Eyes of Licht widened.
He automatically noted 20 points for him.
- Thank you , you can come back to your seat. - said Licht.
- Excuse Me , but we are going to take a quick five minute break.
Whispers once again started to traverse the walls of the hall.
What could it be that caused the break?

Meanwhile , in the back of the stage.
-What was that? I never saw something so powerful , sharp and it was immense… it is a true shame that this boy can’t release it out of his body. This aura was really something , like his soul power was not only a mix of life energy and soul energy , like it was mixed with something else , something like deep despair , like a true curse.
ahhh i am so interested in it , but i have to finish these two persons… - said Licht , that started to scratch his face in excitement. Frier went back to the testing ground.
- ekhm ekhm , we are now going to resume the test. Louis Morient, please come to the stage. - the examiner called out.
Louis walked nonchalantly towards the stage , he drank some water, and throwed the bottle at someone. He stood up on the stage for around 10 seconds. His soul power was circulating around him , in the shape of a perfect sphere.
- Another interesting fellow - noted Licht , and graded him 18 out of 20 points.
Again nonchalantly , he went back to his seat and drank , this time , a bottle of cola.
- For the last participant , please come to the stage , Stella Llorente- called out
All the eyes started staring at her , she was captivating everyone with her cute looks , and powerful skills.
She was shining like a bright star. Nobody could look away from her.
She was walking calmly towards the stage she released all of her
Soul Power at once , and it almost exploded , the powerful aura of her really exploded , like the death of a star.
- Thank you , you can come back to your seat - Licht said - geez these newbies are really interesting this year , especially these last three of them," added the Examiner.
Another day had passed , after the test measuring the level of each person’s soul power , it came time for a test that measures speed.
- It is basically a race on time. Basically , it consists of how quickly you can run 1000 meters. There are 20 rounds , every round consists of 5 people. I will now announce every round. - Said the examiner , with a little bored face. - You can get 10 points for making it in under 2 minutes. following the example , every 20 seconds more equals a point less. You can also get extra point , for making other participants of your group unable to continue the
race. - added Licht , almost finished. - There is also one extra point for not making anyone fail , so choose wisely. - At last Licht finished.
- And lastly , round 20: Seinaru Tenshi , Louis Morient , Stella Llorente , Marc Fodder and Jean Franc.
Seinaru and Louis were waiting patiently for their round , they had plenty of time , as their round was last , so they decided to get more drinks. They went to a shop , and bought some water , cola and pineapple juice. Seinaru only drank water , but Louis was a really big fan of sweet drinks.
- Are you gonna try to fail someone? - Asked Louis , opening a bottle of cola.
- Hmmm I think I am just gonna try to run to the end without damaging anyone. You have an advantage. Your technique is gonna help you a lot Louis.
- Hmm you are right. I am gonna concentrate on running to the finish line.
Seinaru was right , a special technique almost perfected by Louis , was making an impenetrable barrier out of soul power. But he didn’t solidify the soul power into anything , he just infinitely slowed every object getting close to him when the technique was active. He could turn on and off the technique as long as he isn’t exhausted.
In addition , Louis made the slowing barrier so thin that it costs almost no soul power , which results in him having advantage , the longer the fight lasts.
- And the last round , round 20 please come to the start line. You will be running one lap that is 1000 meters long. Of course the stadium will observe you. So in place … ready … GO!
Everyone started to run as fast as they could , no one really was thinking about the exhaustion , in the later part of the race.
Seinaru and Louis were upfront. Stella was busy fighting the other two guys. She was fighting a 2v1 but she managed to stand her ground. Girl was also trying not to use any release techniques that could exhaust her. She tried to fight them using only the boosted strength of her own body. She quickly managed to knock down the first opponent , and immediately started catching up to the second one that tried to run away.
- Marc Fodder eliminated! Jean Franc was also eliminated. 2 points for Stella Llorente.
Seinaru and Louis were about 700 meters already , when Stella started to catch up to Louis , Seinaru was first. On the 800 meter
Stella tried to fight Louis with the same methods but she just was infinitely slowed down upon impact with his barrier.
- geez what’s with him , it's really strange - she thought to herself , as she was running after him.
- Seinaru Tenshi , finished the race with a time of one minute and thirty seconds. He didn’t knock out anyone, so extra point for him. He gets a total of 11 points for this test! - Licht said really excited.
Meanwhile Louis and Stella were fighting , she tried to knock him out.
- Star Swift! - she yelled as 10 little stars , sharp as blades, were flying straight to Louis. She had used one of her techniques , as a star sorcerer. But of course they weren’t enough to penetrate his barrier. They were continuously fighting like that until now.
- Louis Morient and Stella Llorente finished the race in a time of one minute and fifty-five seconds!. Louis gets one extra point for not knocking down anyone , so he ends up with a total of 11 points , while Stella Knocked out 2 participants , so she ends up with a total of 12 points! - said Licht.
After the test three of them went to their homes to sleep and rest.
After the first third test there was a day off from tests. Most candidates to join the military went home.
- So what are you going to do now? - asked Louis - do you wanna go with me to that new restaurant. I heard it is serving some delicious Jotanian cuisine.
- Hmmm , you know? Why not? Let’s go! - Answered Seinaru.
-Okay! Follow me. - Instantly replied Morient , with a smile on his face.
On the way to the restaurant ,both of them were talking about what they would order. Jotanian cuisine is a name for Jota’s kingdom national cuisine.It is recognized as one of the best cuisines in the world.Some people are even travelling to the Jota Kingdom especially for the cuisine. It serves food like: delicious pasta with tomato sauce , pizza which is one of the most liked dishes worldwide or really great seafood called frutti di mare. The last dish usually contains shrimps in garlic sauce , a bonito tuna and a crab stew.On the contraband to pizza , instead of being most-liked, it is one of the best , if not the best dish in the world.
-One Pizza with no additions and one regular pasta , please - ordered Louis for both of them. The restaurant was made out of light-grey stone , in regular Jota Kingdom Architecture style.
The windows were beautifully decorated with golden ornaments and red ribbons.There was also a view of a beautiful ocean. Sometimes you could see various sea creatures momentarily emerge from the water. You could mostly see some fish jumping with the waves , but more rarely you could see rays , turtles , barracudas , catfishes , sea lions , orcas , seals , dolphins , sharks and even whales.
In fact , Seinaru loved sealife , and he really liked going snorkeling when he was younger. He even promised himself to learn how to scuba dive.
-Here are your food gentlemans. - said a waiter , who was a young brown haired girl , with yellow eyes.
Seinaru couldn’t look away from the ocean , hoping to see something interesting so he didn’t see his pasta coming.
