Chapter 5:

Doomed to be a slave

MASTER'S BELOVED WITCH

The slave market Gisella was bought from was situated in Icetown, it was far away from Evaria, one had to travel a night or two to reach Evaria from Icetown.

The journey was mostly smooth, as Sebastian's carriage was well-sprung and equipped with soft, plush cushions that cradled Gisella's weary body. The gentle rocking motion of the carriage, combined with the warmth and comfort of the soft blankets, soon had her drifting off to sleep.

Gisella felt the carriage stop, and opened her eyes to find Sebastian looking at her, his expression neutral. The darkness outside was illuminated only by the faint moonlight and the soft glow of lanterns that lined the driveway.

"We've arrived," Sebastian said, his voice low and smooth.

Gisella looked around, taking in the unfamiliar surroundings. The mansion loomed before them, its stone walls shrouded in darkness.

Sebastian stepped out of the carriage, offering Gisella his hand to help her down. She took it, her movements mechanical. As they walked towards the mansion, the gravel crunched beneath their feet, echoing through the stillness of the night.

The servant, who had been waiting at the entrance, bowed low as Sebastian approached. "Welcome home, Master ," he said.

Sebastian nodded, his eyes never leaving Gisella's face. "Tell Jenkins to come to my room, along with a maid," he said, his voice low and even.

The servant nodded, backing away as Sebastian led Gisella into the mansion. The interior was dimly lit, the only light coming from a few candles that flickered in the hallway. The air inside was warm and thick, filled with the scent of old books and wood polish.

Sebastian led Gisella up a grand staircase, the sound of their footsteps echoing through the hallway. They reached the top of the stairs, and Sebastian turned down a long corridor, lined with doors that led to various bedrooms. He stopped in front of a large wooden door, adorned with intricate carvings.

Sebastian pushed open the door, revealing a spacious bedroom with a large four-poster bed. The room was dimly lit, the only light coming from a fire that crackled in the hearth. Sebastian led Gisella inside, closing the door behind them.

As they entered the room, Gisella's eyes adjusted to the dim light, taking in the opulent furnishings and rich tapestries that adorned the walls. The fire crackled and spat, casting flickering shadows around the room.

Sebastian released Gisella's hand, walking over to the Cushion and sat down.

Sebastian leaned back against the cushion, his eyes fixed on Gisella as she stood motionless in the center of the room. The fire crackled and spat, casting flickering shadows across his face.

"Take off your clothes," Sebastian said, his voice low and even.

Gisella looked up at the at the man, he had just confirmed her thought, why else would a Man such as a Pureblooded vampire , spend so much on a witch that was no less than a human,he had paid 10,000 coins for her a worthless witch.

No wonder he was willing to pay 10,000 points for her, a low-ranked Witch. Some Witches with hig ranks were bought for their unique abilities, but others... others were kept as sex slaves.

A cold dread crept up Gisella's spine as she reached for the hem of her tattered dress. But just as she was about to lift it over her head, Sebastian's face contorted in a sudden burst of laughter.

Gisella froze, her hands hovering at the hem of her dress. Sebastian's laughter was deep and rich, and it seemed to fill the entire room.

"No, no, no," Sebastian said, wiping tears from his eyes. "That's not what I meant, Ella."

    Gisella's eye's narrowed a bit as she bowed.." I'm sorry Master. "

"Old habits seems very hard to stop."

Sebastian's eyes sparkled with amusement as he gazed at Gisella. "Don't bow, Ella," he said, his voice low and gentle. Just then a knock came on the door.

"Enter," Sebastian called out, his voice carrying across the room.

The door creaked open, and a middle-aged man with a stern expression stepped inside, followed by a young maid. The man, whom Sebastian had referred to as Jenkins, bowed low.

The butler, Jenkins, and the maid curtsied and bowed, respectively, as they greeted Sebastian and Gisella.

"Good evening, Master Sebastian," Jenkins said, his voice low and formal. "Welcome home."

The maid, a young girl with a timid expression, curtsied deeply. "Good evening, Master Sebastian. Good evening, miss...?"

She trailed off, unsure of how to address Gisella. Sebastian smiled, his eyes glinting with amusement.

"This is Gisella," he said turning to the maid. "Help her with a soothing bath and a dress change."

The maid's eyes widened slightly as she took in Gisella's disheveled appearance, but she quickly composed herself and curtsied again.

"Yes, Master Sebastian," she said, her voice soft and respectful. "Right away."

Jenkins, the butler, stepped forward, his expression still stern.

"Shall I have dinner sent up to your room, Master Sebastian?" he asked.

Sebastian nodded, his eyes never leaving Gisella's face.

"Yes, Jenkins. That would be fine.."

Jenkins bowed again and backed away, closing the door behind him. The maid, whose name was apparently Alice, stepped forward and smiled shyly at Gisella.

"You must be exhausted Gisella, let me help you."

Alice led Gisella into the bathroom, a sprawling space that seemed almost as large as the bedroom itself. The walls were lined with gleaming white marble, and the floor was covered in a thick, plush rug that felt like silk beneath Gisella's feet.

At the far end of the room, a massive bathing pool dominated the space. It was easily large enough for several people to bathe comfortably, and the water was crystal clear. Alice walked over to a rope that hung from the ceiling and gave it a gentle tug. Slowly, hot water began to pour into the bathing pool, sending wisps of steam curling up into the air.

Gisella felt a pang of wonder at the sheer luxury of it all. She had never seen anything like this before.

Alice turned to her and smiled. "Your bath is ready, Gisella," she said, her voice soft and gentle. "Would you like me to help you undress?"

"No I can do that." She said beneath her breath , but not moving a bit, she stared at the Maid her blue dead eyes not moving.

She had never undressed before anyone before, even in the dungeon where she was imprisoned, she would wake up early to bathe in the ice-cold water just to avoid being watched by the guards. The thought of undressing in front of someone, especially a stranger, made her feel vulnerable and exposed.

As she stood there, frozen in uncertainty, Alice's gentle voice broke the silence. "Gisella, is everything okay? Do you need some help?" Alice asked, her tone soft and concern etched on her face.

Gisella's gaze remained fixed on Alice, her blue eyes empty and unresponsive. She didn't respond, didn't move, as if she was trapped in her own thoughts.

Alice took a step closer, her movements slow and cautious, as if she was approaching a wild animal. "Gisella, it's okay, I'm here to help you." Alice said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Gisella's eyes flickered, a hint of awareness sparking within them. She took a deep breath, and her gaze dropped to the floor, as if she was gathering her courage. Slowly, she reached up and began to untie the laces of her tattered dress, her movements stiff and awkward.

As Gisella's dress slipped off her shoulders, Alice's eyes widened slightly, taking in the sight of Gisella's pale, thin body that was covered with bruises and scars. But she quickly composed herself, her expression softening into one of gentle concern.

"Let me help you, Gisella," Alice said, her voice soft and soothing. She reached out and gently took the dress from Gisella's hands, carefully pulling it down her body.

Gisella stood frozen, her eyes fixed on the floor, as Alice helped her out of the dress. She felt a wave of vulnerability wash over her, but Alice's gentle touch and soothing voice seemed to calm her nerves.

Once the dress was off, Alice helped Gisella into the bathing pool, the warm water enveloping her like a soothing balm. Gisella closed her eyes, feeling the tension in her body begin to ease.

Alice began to scrub Gisella's body, her touch gentle but firm. Gisella felt a sense of relaxation wash over her, her muscles beginning to unwind.

As Alice washed her, Gisella couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude towards the maid. She was kind and gentle, and seemed to genuinely care about Gisella's well-being.

But even as she felt a sense of comfort in Alice's presence, Gisella couldn't shake off the feeling that she was still a prisoner, still a slave. And that Sebastian, the man who had bought her, still held power over her

"Maybe at the end she was doomed to be a slave. "
