Chapter 13:

Hiroshi unbreakable pt 3

Salvatore´s School for villains

“Yes, we are aware and I assure you we are taking the matter seriously. Thank you very much.” There was a loud a constant ringing, as many phone refused to stop their calling and a very stoic Mr. Naga Kocchar answered them one after the other with an unexpressive look on his face. “Yes, no, of course it will be dealt with today, till then make sure to take care, sir.” As the new member of the student council the infamous prince was currently in charge of taking the student council´s president’s calls, a rather easy endeavor in any other day for the diligent prince.

“No, no, we are not in charge of this matter, slaver´s bay is not part of the student councils responsibilities, goodbye and thank you for calling.” Naga putted the phone down and placed his gloved hand over his temple, his expression one of silent resignation. “Working hard, Mr. Secretary.” The vice president suddenly sat on top of Naga´s long desk. vice president Jeanne crossed they´re legs as they take care to scoot the skirt of their white dress to cover their longs legs properly, the vice president legs were platted in gold like a suit of armor as did their arms, though they´re limps were complete mechanical in nature they had their own allure, as they were crafted to show elegance and grace, but they weren´t any weaker because of that.

“Vice president Jeanne, the business owners are rather afraid now, is there any progress I can report to them.” Jeanne put both of their arms at theirs sides and closed their eyes always with a warm smile on their youthful face. “Well it’s more than confirmed that Mr. Hiroshi was assassinated, much likely by the Scorching Sun so now the slaves in Hiroshi corps have taken arms from within the very factory, the whole place is on the middle of a violent uprising that marches towards the piers, there are also reports that the Beretta family its arming an assault against the Scorching sun, like shark running to the smell of blood on the storming seas.” The vice present leaned back to look at Naga, caring to keep their white hat in place “Can´t you hear their song Mr. secretary? ¿The song of angry men?”

“You almost sound happy about it Vice president.” He responded to their melodious tone in his usual dull way, his dead fish eyes staring at them with unspoken curiosity as he raised his right eyebrow.

“Well, you know that my loyalty is for Ms. Olivia and our beloved school, so yes, the squirming of those crude men it’s like music to my ear. Seeing those who always thought themselves as untouchable began to feel the dread of death at their side for the first time, it’s a joy Mr. Secretary.” Naga Kocchar closed his eyes before releasing a tired sigh. “Our heads could end up in the chopping block as well.” The prince said without much care; the vice president leaned forward turning their backs on him as they placed a hand to hold their own chin.

“It’s all a mirage at the end. The best they can hope for is to escape into the seas before Salvatore annihilates them all as he does with everything else that becomes a nuisance, Kojiro is their only hope it’s only because that man is there that Salvatore is still hesitating in striking back. Their revolution is, but a speck of dust.” The vice president spoke while looking downwards in a sad, but still melodious tone as if speaking to an audience.

“Salvatore has requested for the white hound to deal with him, and for the complete annihilation of their little group, sadly the hound squad was dispatched to a mission early today, hence only their captain Helga Wright is available and that might just give be their lucky break.” Naga fiddle with some papers on his desk, he still had a hard time following the policies of the island, and he could only guess that woman had to be something special if they will order her to fight them all on her own, the tone of the vice president´s voice made him think that their hopes wouldn´t last. Naga shrugged as it had no really bearing on him either way.

“¿In any case what is the president doing? Will she really be absent the whole day in a time like this, as her secretary at the very least I would like to know her whereabouts.” Jeann bitted their thumb before smiling at him again. “She is on a tea party with her advisor, Miss Galatea. These sorts of occasions are rather rare, but are always of the utmost importance.” Naga raised his right eye brown in an inquisitive matter. “¿And you are not invited Vice president?” The vice president put their hands on their lap and stared back at him, blinking. “¿Are you teasing me, really? ¿You of all people?”

Naga didn´t say anything and just kept his eyes to the desk as he moved through his documents. “Fine I never get invited it’s something special between two of them, they have known each other way before the student council even existed and that woman is always the one to hear everything the president plans to do in advance… and also the only that can just go and summon the president at will.” Naga looked back at them, his face showing no emotion. “Well she is her advisor and that is the whole point of them.” Naga smiled slightly, with intention or not, he looked rather scary like that. “Pft, I know, it’s just that I don´t like that she gets to keep secrets from me, I mean she already knows everything about me and it makes me feel a little bit useless if she can´t trust me in everything. ¡So, yeah I´m jealous!” The vice present crossed their arms and looked away from Naga. “Haha, you should just tell her then, I never thought you were so fiddling vice president.” He said in his usual dull tone.

“Don´t grew conceited; you are the new guy here. Seriously who would have thought you were such a joker. As if you knew of matters of the heart Mr.Naga, but then again… I can´t said I dislike working with you are hardly an oaf; so just quit with the bullying alright.” Naga let his smile disappear into his stoic expression. “I don´t mind working with you either, Vice President.” The prince returned to his desk work, working quietly as always. The vice president thought, didn´t feel the silence much. “You know, you are just like Galatea said you were, she did well in picking you, your manner of thinking will serve the president well.” Jeanne spoke casually, but Naga froze in place as soon as he heard that.

“¿She picked me?”

“Yes just like she did for me or even the president herself, after all Galatea funded the student council itself. That´s the other thing that bothers me a little, it almost feels like the two of them are at a different level to us that they can see something we cannot.”

Prince Naga stared at the vice president in silence, his mouth half open as if wishing to inquire something, but the phones ringed at that moment and with another sight of resignation, he picked up the a phone again.

“¿Student council’s office, how may I help you?”

***

At That moment in a much more reclusive are of the island the other two members of the student council reunited under the warm sun and the clear skies, this place was a hidden garden of sorts for the two of them in an already forgotten manor that once had belonged to Salvatore´s and now lay in shambles, but with a single exception, a small outer garden the two of them have kept alive through the years, a sanctuary that no one else knew a place not even that man could not touch.

On a small wooden table the two woman reunited sharing a cup of tea and some cake on the side, here they eat on the green pastures with a forest on the horizon above and no one else it was nothing, but a small abode, a pleasant day in a beautiful place, but the two kept a serious expression as they drank.

“It’s quite good, your tea is getting to the same level of our servants in the manor, I would say you´ll surpass them soon enough.” Domina Salvatore took another sip of her cup, her expression rigid and severe even if her tone was playful.” “At least on that there is progress, my dearest friend.” Galatea sited opposite of her seeming to star into the woods, she couldn’t see anything as her eyes were bandaged so it mattered little where her sight wandered to, the black woman dressed in a white dress held her long staff as throwing it from one hand to the other, it looked as if she had no intention of drinking or eating anything more. “¿There are critters nearby, are they not fortunate? For they can live upon this sight and worry not, fortunate ones who´s fates are set in stone, it must be so pleasant to have a nature so well defined. They know all they need do and so they do so.” Galatea moved her long locks of black hair behind her neck. “If you want to run in the mud and merely feed till your last days, be my guest. “The other woman answered half-jokingly.

Domina carried herself with composure and grace, but it was not that of a noble woman’s, her attire resembled the clothing of an aristocrat and also the shoulder pads with golden ribbons of a militant, from her posture lacking in all femininity, the red headed woman could still be considered beautiful, but her very posture as she placed her cup was calm and precise and yet, the cup trembled in force against the table as if her fingers were about to shatter it completely.

“¿Now, is that really different to how we go about our lives? If they are fortunate is because they know the shape of their hunger, not like us that can only starve with our cravings that remain unknown to us.”

The school president remained calm, but exhaled a sort of treat in her every gesture, she smiled and placed her shoulders upon the table to get a better look at her friend, the young woman looked even more rigid as if she was somehow heavier than what she seemed.

“¡Hahaha, you sure talk a lot! If you wanted to say that I´m still indecisive you don´t need so much rambling, but I refute my friend. You know well what kind of animal I am and the prey I´m looking to hunt!” Domina laughed in a boisterous way her voice alone breaking the peace of the forest and making a flock of birds to leave in search of peace, but it wasn´t hostile but rather joyous. She laughed and moved with genuine joy, a joy so honest her arm descended on the table making her cup fall and shatter to the ground, without her knowing.

“Yes, I know what kind of beast you are, far better than I have come to know my own nature. That is why I admire you so, but also why I can´t leave you alone, else you might be lose to me on the woods someday. After all you are but the chick of a hawk, I couldn´t bear to look away and see you crumble before you ever get to fly. Oh how you worry me so, my dear friend” Galatea tapped the table with her staff, a mischievous smile upon her face. Domina smiled wider as she recovered her usual calmness, and spoke with a gentleness that bordered into boredom. “¿That is right, I never have left the nest have I? Oh I guess I´m still just such a silly girl, true enough, this whole island is my nest, no the world itself, as it all belong to Salvatore. ¡If so do you believe I can never fly away? ¿What must I do my friend?” Domina´s gloved hand urged her to continue, her face a smile mixed with anger.

“You misunderstand, you are not just in the nest, you are still, but an egg, you have yet to even be born.” Domina let out a dry mocking laugh at the words and returned her posture back into a perfect proper one as she quietly reached for another piece of cake.

“So, I will first have to break free of my shelter, as always your nonsense is nothing short of amusing. Tell me my friend was this, the reason you called for me, to scold me for having achieved so little. You shouldn´t have bothered then, I do appreciate the cake though.” Galatea passed her friend another slice of apple pie, her cheerful smile still intact. “Of course not, this soliloquy was but an introduction, merely the setup for our real debate. So tell me friend, did you like the gift I offered. Was the exiled prince to your liking?”

“Hmm, he is alright, but you certainly found quite a weird one this time, that said I´m yet convinced he can become as loyal to me as you all are, none the less your reading of people is always correct, disgustingly so.” Galatea giggled putting the handle of the staff against her temple. “Yes, he is splendid, a real diamond on the rough, he is a man that can bear any storm and like the snake he wishes to resemble, he can shed his skin as much as its needed, leaving only the wounds of his soul intact. But it must have been what he has told you that is keeping you in such a sour mood my dear friend.”

Domina closed her hands together, her eye lids closing as she took a moment to wander her thoughts. “A man with a single uncanny eye, an eye that according to Mr. Kocchan, should simply not exist in this world. ¿Galatea, has your so called “visions” show you anything new?” Galatea scooted over the table excitedly, finally meeting Domina´s sight with her own wrapped eyes.

“Yes I have so listened well.” Galatea stopped herself staying quiet for a moment as she placed her hand upon her chest. “There is a dove flying above the seas, a dove of pale white fluttering bye with feeble wings. He set sight upon his home a shadow upon his back and no land in sight. To remain a float he called for a storm and now he floats at the middle of it all, his wings finally seeking rest upon the sigh of a goddess of a long forgotten stone.”

“¿Is this dove thing, Mr. Irvin Maximillian?”

“I wouldn´t know, all I saw was the simple dream of a cute little dove.”

“Ha, well at the very least I´m quite sure what you mean with that stone goddess, it must not be a coincidence then that the grey city is in an uproar now, quite the storm that little bird has set free. ¿What of his mother, did you dream of her as well?”

“A shadow, always above the little dove much like the one that eclipses you always; truly the two of you are birds of a feather, in more ways than one.” Domina let her head rest on her arm as she groaned annoyed. “Huh, I´ll be the judge of that, so tell me then is this the right moment for us to meet.” Galatea smiled. “Yes, in the middle of that storm there will be no preying eyes, not from his mother nor from your father.”

“Wonderful, in that case I´ll go give him a visit myself and made him spit all he knows. I have no interesting in leaving any more threads hanging much less a so called stranded brother.” Domina Salvatore spoke with a bored, but a smile showed upon her face. Galatea sited back on her chair with a satisfied expression on her lips. “Yes it’s wonderful indeed, it’s the most important of reunions, it could very well be what will allow our stalemate to break, and it could even set us free my dear friend.” Domina took another sip of her tea, seeing her friend´s usual theatrics with fondness. “He may even help in killing the root of our problems, Domingo Salvatore.” She took another finally sip of her tea while showing for the first time a serenity befitting of her surroundings. Galatea scooted over to gently move the dishes and the empty remaining cup from her friend with an ever gentle smile.

“Haven´t I told you already my friend, it’s useless you are never going to be able to talk back against that man, it will never be a part of your fate.” Domina´s eyes opened wide as she looked at her friend in silence, her lip quivering. “You can never defeat him, after all you are still the result of his believes, because of that you can never reject him, you who embody the very pinnacle of Salvatore’s world and his believes shall never be able to defy them, that is your role to play. Domina remained quiet, tapping the table with her fingers as she urged her to finish. “Only a beast that can make his very ideology and thinking fall has the right to threaten his victory, you are but a good daughter, a girl that has always to gain his approval, a pristine doll in military garbs.” Galatea never ceased smiling till her companion finally stood up.

“¡Wonderful you truly are the only one mad enough to speak such nonsense to me, truly it is a joyful thing to know an honest friend, and for someone like me it’s a treasure!” As if a dam had broken within her, Domina did not speak with a furious passion one that didn’t hide her joy nor, her long cape fluttering on the wind as did her fiery red hair. “I´m going to repeat it to you again.” She pointed with her hand at her friend´s covered eyes. ¡Nonsense you are but a swindler and your fate is all but nonsense! ¡If you have ever being right is because I have willed it so! My path of Victory will not be threatened by mere vision and dreams so remain in here and wait to be wrong my friend.” Her eyes glowed and her visage changed, Domina Salvatore looked like a different woman all together, her eyes now with a purple grow, her sight resembling that of an animal, her hair fell behind her showing again the very inhuman beauty she held, that of proud but gallant beast whose eyes were not that of a human.

“I can only hope so; after all to be proved wrong is the very nature of my craving.”

Galatea raised her staff and pointed it forward towards her side, as if commanding her friend onwards. It was hardly in an arbitrary direction either, Domina knew that much.

“I shall take my leave then, even if that Dove isn´t worthy of being my prey, as one of my students he deserve his worries to be heard.” She merely chuckled towards her friend impudence. “Just be wary as wounded birds flock together.” Galatea spoke one final advice to her companion who had already turned her back on her and their little sanctuary, marched onwards.

“They can flock all they want, their wings will shatter all the same. haha...” Domina Salvatore walked away thought the green fields her steps forceful and firm smashing the pasture below them, but her expression was one of a gentle delight, her eyes glowing with a spectral purple light.

“¿How dare them? The skies of this island are mine and mine alone; you are nothing but students so know your place.” She walked away waving a farewell with her hand. Galatea remained in her sit to finish her tea with her usual grace.

“Haha, she is quite happy today, oh you poor little dove.”
