Chapter 17:

Castle Of Time

Fate

Lordhair and Solve, along with the soldiers, had begun their arduous journey. The harsh cold of the north had been lost beneath a white blanket of snow. The northern winds blew with an icy chill, and the sharp ice crystals hitting their faces with each step were painful. The snow-covered hills stretched out like an endless sea of white. Every step of the journey brought them closer to the mysterious and enigmatic Time Castle.

As the group passed through the ice-clad forests, the crackling of branches and the howling of the wind echoed in the eerie silence. Every tree had turned completely white from the cold. The sky was covered with gray clouds, and snowflakes descended like a graceful dance to the ground.

Solve tightly wrapped herself in her fur cloak. "I didn't expect it to be this cold," she muttered. Lordhair, however, fixed his gaze on the horizon. "We must reach the Time Castle. This cold won't stop us," he said with determination.

Despite the hardships, the soldiers continued to push forward. The sound of the snow crunching beneath their feet was the only melody of the journey. The icy air seemed to steal their breath, but giving up was not an option. The only thing guiding them were the faint lights of the stars.

After a while, the silhouette of the Time Castle appeared on the horizon. The castle, surrounded by an endless sea of mist, rose atop a high cliff. Its walls, seemingly carved by time itself, were made of gray and black-toned undulating stones. As Lordhair and Solve drew closer, they could see the grandeur and mystery of the castle more clearly.

Their journey was filled with difficulties, but they continued undeterred. With every step, they fought against the cold and relentless nature of the north, driven by the excitement and determination to reach the Time Castle.

And then, the moment arrived. The magnificent Time Castle stood right before them.

Lordhair and Solve, with the soldiers, looked at the Time Castle from the outside. The castle, surrounded by an endless sea of mist, rose on top of a high cliff. Its walls, as though carved by time itself, were made of gray and black-toned undulating stones; some parts were smooth, while others hid the whispers of ancient winds within the cracks. Before this magical sight, they were filled with deep admiration and respect.

The towers were arranged in a strange harmony, each representing a different era: one with gothic pointed arches, the other covered in futuristic metal panels. The large clock in the center, with its constantly rotating dial, seemed to hold time in its grasp.

As Solve gazed at the castle’s grandeur and mystery, she whispered, "This place is incredible." Lordhair took a deep breath, growing even more determined to uncover the secrets of this mysterious structure.

Lordhair and Solve stepped through the massive gate of the castle.

"This place is like a journey through time itself," Solve whispered. The towers, each representing a different era, stood in strange harmony: one with gothic pointed arches, the other covered in futuristic metal panels. Lordhair examined the large clock rising in the center of the castle. The great clock, with its constantly rotating dial, seemed to hold time in its hands, but neither the hour hand nor the minute hand pointed to any specific moment.

As they stepped into the inner courtyard, a sweet decay mixed with a metallic coolness filled the air. The pale frescoes on the walls seemed to animate, depicting scenes that stretched from the past to the future. Solve marveled at the details of the frescoes. "These frescoes tell the stories of the past and the future," she said.

Lordhair thought, "We must find the master of time." The magical atmosphere within the castle deeply affected both of them.

Lordhair wandered alone inside the castle, separating from the others. As he walked through the deep corridors, the echo of his footsteps emphasized his solitude. Moving past different rooms and passages, he was determined to find the master of time.

After a while, he arrived at a door with the inscription "Only the Master of Time May Enter." Taking a deep breath upon seeing this inscription, something in his pocket began to glow. Lordhair, in surprise, took the object from his pocket. When he saw it glowing, he realized something important was inside, and...

As he approached the door, the object grew even brighter. The increasing light seemed to guide him toward the door. Enchanted by the object’s magic, Lordhair moved closer to the door. The glowing light suggested that the door was not locked, and he could enter. He slowly pushed the door open and stepped inside.

Upon entering, he stopped in the center of the grand hall, surveying the surroundings. The columns and high ceilings showcased the grandeur and size of the castle. However, there was neither a soldier nor a wizard inside; it seemed as if the place had been abandoned for a long time.

Lordhair walked toward the room covered with symbols and frescoes on the stones. The stone was adorned with symbols resembling the possessions of an ancient traveler. As Lordhair approached the stone, he noticed that the light from the object merged with the stone.

The interaction between the object and the stone made the room's magical atmosphere even more mysterious. Lordhair combined the ancient object with the stone, and suddenly a large purple light appeared. This light pulled Lordhair in. In an instant, he found himself floating in the air. Below him, the landscape of his future world unfolded.

The sky had turned red, lakes had dried up, and the trees had withered. Most of the animals had not survived, and the greatest war the world had ever seen was taking place. Lordhair anxiously watched the traces of this destruction and war.

While floating in the air, he tried to understand how his future world had come to this state. Humans and creatures were fighting to survive, and the lands that were once green and fertile had now become dry and barren.

Flying creatures fought in the sky, and fireballs fell to the ground, showing the intensity of the war. Lordhair was horrified by the scene he saw. He could see more clearly the traces of this destruction and war. As he tried to understand what had caused his world to come to such a state, he was filled with sorrow.

In the midst of this destruction and war, a few humans and creatures were struggling to survive between the dry lakes and barren lands. As Lordhair watched this scene, he thought about what he needed to do to change this future.

As Lordhair floated in the air, he reflected on the events that had happened and how this destruction had occurred. It was possible that such a war and destruction could happen in a world with such advanced technology, but what could have caused humans to turn against each other so violently?

As Lordhair watched the flying creatures battling in the sky and the fireballs falling to the ground, he tried to understand the cause of this violence and destruction. The redness of the sky and the helplessness of the animals sparked great curiosity within him. How could this destruction be prevented? What could be the cause of this catastrophe?

While watching the red sky and thinking about the causes of the destruction, Lordhair suddenly noticed two figures appearing beside him. Chronos and Kyran stood silently next to him. Chronos, dressed in the robe of an ancient sorcerer, held an object that seemed like a fragment of time, presenting an impressive figure. Kyran, with his long silver hair and ever-changing facial features, carried the marks of time. Both were watching the destruction of the future.

Lordhair took a deep breath at the sight before him. "I need to understand the cause of this destruction and war," he muttered.

Chronos turned to Lordhair and said, "What you see is a possible future of time. The flow of time is a delicate balance. It is important for you to understand this destruction, but we cannot change the past or the future."

Kyran, fixing his eyes on Lordhair, said, "This room serves only a specific purpose. You should not be here."

Lordhair took a deep breath and continued watching the destruction of the future. The scene left a deep impression on his mind. However, he knew that carrying this knowledge and making the right decision at the right time would be crucial.

Lordhair found himself back inside the castle. He took a deep breath, gathered his energy, and stepped out of the room, returning to the soldiers. The soldiers, seeing Lordhair by their side, felt relieved.

Solve and the soldiers were advancing through the Time Castle, searching for Kyran. The castle was filled with corridors that carried the marks of time with each step, and every corner held traces of the past and the future. As the group moved through the corridors, everyone was carefully scanning their surroundings, hoping to find Kyran.

Just then, Kyran suddenly appeared. His long silver hair and the deep gray storm in his eyes captured everyone's attention. When Lordhair and Solve saw Kyran, they gathered together.
