Chapter 18:

The worlds strongest

Salvatore´s School for villains

“¿Are you stupid? ¿Kojiro?”

A man spoke, leaning poorly upon their table his tired all face looking down upon a young boy. “We tried our best for you and you screwed up again.” The boy wasn´t looking sorry but rather angry, as the tired adult took another sip of beer.

“Construction work is serious work and your best bet surviving out on the world, because you sure are not going to get ahead with that head of yours.” The boy clenched his fists. “I didn´t meant it, I’m sorry it really was an accident.” The man´s eyes stared vacantly into the walls. “Always the same thing with you. ¿Are you really going to break everything you touch? You broke an entire wall; the hell is anyone going to buy that it was an accident. It’s only because they don´t know what you are that we came unharmed… I cannot bow forever for all of your mistakes, if you cannot become a part of society not only would you would have to carry that shame, I’ll be a burden for me and your sister as well.” The man said with a quivering voice

The boy’s clenched fist suddenly relaxed as his face grew pale. “Can´t I just go to school like she does, grandpa.” The man stared back at him while scratching his forehead. “If there is an accident there, if you broke a desk or a child´s arm we could not apologize enough, beside I can´t afford to care for you both much longer, not alone. We need money so at least help me earn your sister a future.”

“All right… I´ll make sure to commit no more mistakes.” The young boy bowed lowering his head in earnest regret, his voice hoarse as if begging.

“If so I may know of some people that may want you even with your problem” The tired man looked back at his drink. “But in turn they will need your silence.” Kojiro Adachi raised his eyes. “Of course I will do my best.”

A man groaned as he was slammed against a wall.

“Well, well if you are so eager to ignore your debt, there is no helping it, but for us to remind you a little.” Above the downed man a man wearing a black suit with a tiger stripper shirt underneath laughed at the collapsed man. “Well then Adachi-kun if you would be so kind.” Behind him the boy who was a very tall teen, tall enough to look down on that grown man stepped forward, he wore black shades and a gray hood sweater with black jeans, his face cold and grim.

“Right.” Kojiro Adachi kneeled, but the collapsed man pulled a knife and slashed back on a desperate surprise attack, Kojiro never moved and simply took the knife to the chest and it broke upon touching his skin, bending sideways. “Sorry.” He said as he flicked his fingers on the man’s face with just enough force to break his nose and left him unconscious.

“Nice Adachi-kun, you´ll be wasted anywhere else, the boss has high expectations for you, so keep it up and you´ll make both of our families proud.” Kojiro stood up saying nothing as he walked back outside the dark alley with the suited man. “¿How long will it take for my father’s debt to be paid?” The man smiled and raised his thumbs. “Not that much and your grandpa will be free of it, but you are staying with us for now, the boss himself will care for you good, hell one day you may even be calling the shots.” Adachi smiled lightly. “That´ll be nice senpai.” The man took out a cigar and lighted it up. “So try not to screw up Adachi-kun.” Adachi´s fist clenched, but he simply smiled.

“Always.”

“Now I heard that some of our men are having trouble with one our operations, it’s a simple one, but since the people giving us nonsense are teens I figure you could look into it easy without looking out place near their school, you following.” Adachi indeed followed him, but he didn´t care much about anything he ever said, his job was always the same. “I´ll get to it.” The man looked at Kojiro with severity, but said nothing as they kept walking.

“So you are the lot that kept getting in our way, that´s rude terrible rude.” The man with a suit grinned as he stared at a girl.

“It’s you people that don´t belong here, leave our school and our students alone.” A woman stood at the other side of him, she wore a school uniform with a red blazer and a green skirt and carries a wooden kendo sword over her shoulder behind her four men in a male version of her red and green uniform all stood in line looking back at the man in the black suit, some of them clearly afraid of him.

“Man , this is what we get for trying to be nice, If you go complains take it to your students that carelessly took our jobs, so if you ask me is your school that is lacking in morals and you can´t blame us for giving people what they are looking for.” He smirked caring very little for her dull wooden sword, he had caught at a rather secluded alley on the streets of Tokyo only thinking of giving them a little shake to keep them in line.

“You all are nothing more than extortionists, I´ll discipline the students of course, but unless I cut off the root of the problem, they will not be freed. So I…” She raised her weapon high above her, but the man pulled a gun with a slight twitch of his eye. “This is no game girl, be more sensible neither you nor I want to make this bigger than it already is.” The girl stood unmoving, but her eyes wandered behind him and she gasped.

“Ey, Kojiro-kun, show her friends a taste of the real world please, Ill handle her myself.”

“…” An immensely tall man came from the alley behind him, though young, his face already sported traces of a beard and his muscles were visible even underneath his baggy hood, the men behind the girl recoiled as they saw him, but she seemed completely paralyzed and not due to fear, her wooden sword was beginning to shake.

“¿Kojiro why are you…?” She spoke, her every word shaking.

“¿Huh, seems like the girl knows you?” The man looked back over his shoulder without taking the aim off his target.

“Of course she does, she is my older sister.”

Kojiro quickly crashed his shoulder against the suited man´s face throwing him off the ground and sending him against a wall, his head hit the brick wall spurting blood as he collapsed on his knees, the gun still on his hand. The boys in school uniforms gasped scared and the girl let go off her wooden blade. “¡¿Do you… Do you know what you just did Kojiro!?” He aimed his gun against him, but he kicked it off his hand breaking his finger in the process. “No, I have no idea, not a clue.” Kojiro said quietly as he sat down and punched the man in the face, leaving him without one.

“Kojiro…what are you doing?- Aoi Adachi tried to talk amidst her fear, but her words failed there was too much she couldn´t gasp as he looked at the brother that abandoned her home for three whole years and now, he looked back at her, taking his sunglasses off with his bloodied hand. “Sorry, but we lied to you; Lied for a very long time.” He spoke with a weak smile as his somber brown eyes looked down.

“¡Grandfather I really can´t believe this, how could this have been your idea!”

Aoi stood in front of a small wooden table, screaming at the tired old man who sat there as he did every single night. He was upset as well, but groaned under his breath staring at Kojiro at the side of the door, he had grown immensely since he last saw him. “Did you really had to tell her. ¿What good could that have given her?” He said trying to not look at Aoi in the face, his voice hoarse and weak.

“As I said there was no helping it. There is no coming back from this now.” Kojiro answered.

“Don´t act like it doesn´t matter! ¿How could you force him to work for a yakuza gang?! You know well what they do to people, what they have been doing near my school!” He stared at her in silence, her tears now falling upon the table. “Because your father had a large debt to pay to them and just like I had to care for the two of you when he ran away, I had to pay his burdens as well.” Kojiro crossed his arms, his face partially hidden by his sunglasses, he had thought of much to say, but now he couldn´t open his mouth especially because her sister was leaving no ground to interrupt. “¡Why did you never say anything! There should have been a better way to pay them, but you just send him there and then tell me that he… just left us... that he abandoned me just like that.”

The tired man seemed uncomfortable with his very skin as he raised his right arm over the table an arm that was being covered by a cast. “No, there wasn´t a better way and the only reason you could go and study and live so calmly was because of that, he did it for you too.” She screamed back. “¡No I never asked for that!” Her hair fell on the table as she looked down sobbing; her grandfather stared at her, his scowl twisting in ire. “But I still wanted to give you everything. I never asked for any of this, for my daughter dying giving birth to Kojiro or for him a simple child to break my arm and left me unemployed, but I still decided to endure it, but I can´t lie… It was never safe for Kojiro to be with us, he simple hurts… everything around him… So I wanted him gone, that’s the truth; he is not something we could handle.” Aoi stood back breathing heavily.

“¿You wanted him gone? ¡Nothing you are saying is true, he never wished for any of that, he never meant to harm anyone!”

“I doesn´t matter it happened all the same.” Kojiro interrupted her and she stared back at him unable to say anything at all. “There is no denying I was born strange and that I could only give you all pain, he is quite right so I can´t blame him for that.” Aoi cleaned her tears unable to accept his words, she hated them too much. “And now because of you boy they are going to murder us, they won´t care for such a pitiful debt. Not if you killed one of them…seriously Aoi too, why would you risk your future and your live like that by picking a fight with those people…” Their grandfather looked at neither of them as he mumbled.

“It won´t be a problem for you this time old man, they will not touch either of you.”

Kojiro spoke loudly and the two of the stared at him in silence. “I learned that I ´m not just good at breaking things, I´m also really good at never breaking, I won´t leave a single one of them alive so you two don´t worry anymore” He look at his fist as he spoke and then he walked forward towards the table and bowed. “Thank you for everything till today, I will take care of myself from now on.” As he finished he turned back on them and walked out of the door, they still couldn’t answer back, Aoi´s fist was shaking as she saw his large back leave through the door.

“Thank you for everything too.” She quickly bowed her head with tears on her eyes.

“I´m sorry for disappointing you, but I must leave too. Sorry for everything grandfather.” Aoi quickly run off behind him. “¡Aoi!” Her grandfather screamed at her, he tried to get up but found his legs to be too weak from the cold and only punched the table as he saw her go.

“Huh, I must say you do nothing but too surprise me lately. First you stood up against the yakuza and now you run away from home. ¿Are you really my sister?” Kojiro walked through a bridge at night with cold air coming out of his mouth, his younger sister running right behind him still dress in her school uniform.

“Aren´t you going to try and stop me…” She spoke quietly as she stared at her gloved hands while walking. “¿And how would I do that? You sure changed in these three years.” Aoi smiled. “You changed too; honestly I could barely recognize you got really huge.” His face turned bitter as she said that, but he never let her see it. “Aoi what made you do all that, you are too smart to know it was no simple joke.”

“Well I just thought I had to do something or else the student council would lose face and I didn´t want to feel such shame, I now it was very foolish… ” Kojiro laughed. “It sure was, but I have to say you got guts, at least more than a coward like me.” Kojiro finished his sentence with a passing whisper, as they both stopped to look at the railway train passing through the distance. “Just promise that if things get tough you´ll use me as a shield, I can more than take it.” She groaned a little but quickly smiled. “Ok, but you better listen to me in turn, you can´t just charge into their hideout like nothing we need to think this though a little.” Kojiro looked back at her. “Hah it sounded like a good plan to me, but alright I don´t want to risk it either, it’s not just my neck on the line this time.”

“¿Kojiro you didn´t really believe what grandfather said did you?” The two of them had stopped under the bright moon looking at the cars passing by through the streets, the truth was that neither of them knew where they were going. “It’s not all nonsense at least I think it’s worth keeping it in mind. I´m dangerous I was simply born wrong and there isn´t much I can do about it.” Kojiro looked above into the night while Aoi stared at his face. “But maybe you could try to be a hero; you know that there is plenty of people with strange powers this days just like you.” Kojiro stared at his hand as he closed his fist. “No, I couldn´t, last thing I want is to have the live of anyone depending of my bloodied hands, besides who would ever trust me, if anyone wanted to believe in me they would have to be a real pack of imbeciles.” Kojiro opened his palm and sighed.

“Besides if we do this, the only things we can become are villains.” Kojiro stared at his sister with his face shaded on his hood. “¿You understand you will lose any chance of a right and normal life? You´ll lose your chance to be a part of society, we would end up being killers.”

“¡So what, sorry but if my chance at life came at the expense of you two I don´t want it anymore, no way I´ll shame me to death to take it like that!¡I will not allow you to leave me behind again!” She was quite seriously that stern sharp voice she used to scold him with was all rather nostalgic. “Besides…we are really the only ones that can trust each other in this family, if that makes me an imbecile that’s fine I feel no shame about that.” Kojiro laughed at her word which instantly annoyed her.

“That’s fine I´m an imbecile too after all, I´ll be counting on you miss know it all.”

Kojiro walked away smiling under his hood.

“I’ll try…” She spoke softly so he couldn´t hear her and followed him into the night.

Kojiro looked back finding it all to be too strange, he never thought of seeing her again.

As long as she could go on and have a good life it wouldn´t matter what happened to me, I could keep going if she did as well. Guess now I have to work twice as hard to keep her smiling.

Aoi reached him, now walking at his side. The two of them walked forward without saying a word still unsure of their destination.

¿Really why does she always see me like I´m still a damn kid, huh? She always makes me feel dumb for being so angry at myself; truth is that just by knowing she is there it almost feels like we can do anything at all.

She is like the very sun, so as long she rises I can as well.

¡So it must all be a lie, lies, lies, lies!

¡She cannot be death!”

Kojiro screamed his mouth opening wide as he bended the chain forward, throwing the enormous steel ball onwards, the woman in the black suit coughed as shadows enveloped her and spread through the ground, but the ball and chain flew above them unhinged and crashed against her, sending her flying upwards with a trail black smoke behind her. Kojiro laughed again as he made the chain spin around and around above his head with such speed and ferocity that the winds stirred blowing all the dark mist away.

“You both can take it, can´t you, I don´t need to hold back anymore with you lot.” With a roar Kojiro released the spinning chain ball towards Yong Li. She placed herself firmly on the ground as her scaled shape grew into that of a monster, a beast of grey muscles with skin as though as stone. She threw a fist back just as the steel ball crashed against her, using her shoulder to push back and managing to stop it in place and then jumped above it and then forward with her long arms ready to strike.

Kojiro´s smile grew wider as he jumped forward at the same time chain still in hand. She aimed a strike to his head, but he welcome it with a head-butt straight into her skull and sent her down to the street crashing with such weight that the asphalt shatter under her weight. Yong li roared and did back flip to move her enormous body before he made the sphere crash just where she stood.

“Haha, you both are strange too. ¿Tell me, was it hard to live like that?” Yong lí stood up again, her face with barely any traces of being that of a human, but that grey mouth of sharp still answered him with words. “Yeah, it was, it’s still is.” Kojiro smirked.

“Good to know if only I had known before that I wasn’t so alone in the world, but it’s too late now.” Kojiro whipped with the steel ball and chains at his front and she dodged by jumping to the side, but he didn´t stop making the chain dance and the steel ball followed her. Her upper body had grew massive, but her smaller legs were also those of a dragon and they let her jump farther and faster than any man, letting her evade the steel ball as it came at her from every direction, each swing of it breaking the ground, shattering the stores and buildings when missing, but it reached her again by the side forcing her two cover with both arms as she flew through the air and crashed into an abandoned building at the other side of the street, the impact breaking it to its very base as the whole structure began to cave.

“Break, break it, you can all break now. Nothing in this island is worth keeping so I will break it all. ¡Break, break, break!” As he raised the steel ball high into the air his body felt lighter than it ever had. The wreckage of the building crashed on the ground forcing the whole street collapse on itself, the fallout spreading to the building to its sides and making them all cave down in a chained collapse.

“I hope you jumped out in time little bunny.”

As Kojiro looked at his handiwork with pride a black cloud covered his vision, he clenched his teeth in annoyance and yanked the chain back the steel ball flew from the rubble and passed through his side where he saw a figure about to reach him, enveloped deep in shadows with glowing red eyes, whatever it was, the sphere run over it making it disappear, but the darkness grew thicker.

“¡I really hate your power, it’s like the damn black sky above. Make it go away!” He once more made the ball and chains spin over him causing a terrible wind to blast the myst away, but one remained a thick gross shade that refuse to move and within it the figure of a woman with a single horn on her head, all the darkness around her was being thrown back into the wind, but it never ceased to surround her as she herself was emitting it, so thick was the miasma that it covered her whole form completely and never ceased to be released.

“HahaHahaHahaHah” Like an infernal wraith she laughed madly from within the black clouds.

Kojiro twisted his lip in annoyance like one would show tedious fly, he cease the spinning of the steel ball and threw it towards her from the right side, in a feat of madness she rushed forward barely passing her head underneath the chain as she broke the distance between and raised the only arm she could still move right underneath him, his eyes barely found her by the time she raised a fist enveloped in shadow and stroke him right in the stomach. He groaned lightly in response.

“¿You really think I need to block a punch like that?” Blood dripped from her fist, only her own skin had been breached by the impact. The furious shade squirmed as Kojiro threw his own fist at her. She raised her bleeding arm letting it be enveloping in a whirling black storm of wind as she quickly blocked his violent fist with her own, she was thrown of her feet as all the shadows that surrounded her arm screeched and flied away like frightened ghosts.

Joahn of the black cross feel to the ground, the shadows leaving as she moaned from the pain, Kojiro give her a smile and forced his chain to move, but it got stuck and even his herculean strength couldn´t move it.

“¿Huh?” He was very confused as he looked back to see the chain

Near the end of the chain the Yong now turned into a beast was holding the long chain in both of her claws as she opened her mouth and unleash a flaming breath, the heat intense enough, the chain was turning red as she tried to break it apart with both hands.

“Well that skin of yours is not for show.” Kojiro ran forward without letting go of the chain just as it broke apart. Yong saw him coming and quickly turned around to send forth her flames towards him, the flames extending like a wall in front of him and without concern he jumped right into them.

She saw his fist reaching for her among the inferno and she could jumped backwards to evade, but he was even faster than she thought and jumped as well catching her in midair and slamming his fist into the dragon´s maw. Her teeth broke and her body went limb that fist had reached her and even as a monster knocked her out in a single blow.

Yong flew unconscious before finally crashing to the border of the collapsed street. Kojiro landed on his feet his long coat now burning in real flames, but his skin remained untouched, he threw his it into the air as it burned little by little. “So… as strange as you where you still couldn’t stand a single punch.” Kojiro let got off the heavy chain piece still wrapped around his hand, letting it crash to the ground with a rough thud.

“¡Hahahaha good going, girl! ¿Why don´t you fight me fair and square now and stop swinging that trash around?” A woman laughed behind him.

He moved back towards the voice unsure if he wasn´t imagining it, but there she stood.

The woman in the black suit with both of her arms broken, her hair turned black covering her face and her white shirt now with a whole sleeve missing.

She was a truly pitiful sight, a half dead remnant.

“Oh, I don´t remember the last time someone took one of my punches and stood up again, even if you die now you sure were pretty damn good.” He answered with a smile as he moved his gigantic body towards her, his chest completely exposed letting the black sun tattoo upon it in full display. Its flame spread all over his pectorals, and swirled into his back just to return to the sun from his hip, although they were flames they looked like flowers raising on the wind, the center of the black sun had a pure white circle painted upon its center.

“Your fist aren´t bad, but you won´t hit me twice that’s for sure, now you´re going to have to get close and dirty and your fighting is sloppy, way too sloppy.” Joahn cackled clearly enjoying herself. Kojiro raised a single fist his face showing no emotion as he composed his sunglasses. “That steel ball isn´t as tough as my skin, so don´t think my fist will be any kinder. ¿What can you even do with both arms broken?”

The shadows began dance around her legs again becoming one with her black pants, as she raised her face, he expression a broken twisted smile, she felt like an animal baring her teeth.

“Ha…this arms? No, no, they are not real; they are not my real self… I’m not dying, not dying…ha…hey, Kojiro. ¿Isn´t this fun?” He smiled from how ridiculous she looked; as he stood right in front of her. “No its not, my heart aches terrible, honestly it’s all enough to make a man cry.” His face grew furious with his honest answer.

“¿What’s that, is it that even now you are not fighting for real Kojiro? Of course… you have to feel fear till then your body won´t be truly alive… HahaHahaha, fine Kojiro I´ll show you all of me so you can show me all of you.” The darkness crawled through her body till it overflew above, her shape completely engulfed in a black pillar that swirled slowly

“¿Do you believe in demons?” Her voice floated through the air around him, but Kojiro never answered.

“If demons are not real… ¿The what am I? ¿What am I? ¡What am I? ¡What am I!” Her voice twisted resounding in a stronger and graver tone; it was barely the voice of a woman anymore. Kojiro cracked his knuckles calmly. “Beats me, I have no answer for you.” A savage wind blew over his body along with the spreading darkness, but those shadows no longer seemed too spread around them, but rather they were being absorbed into her and slowly revealing Joahn of the black cross in her most honest of shapes.

“Show me fear and think of nothing but me…”

Her limbs turned long and twisting, tall and scrawny.

A demon, that was the first thought that would come to anyone’s mind at seeing ith, with long black horns at the side of her head and red eye barely visible underneath her long black hair that shaded her face, her skin couldn´t be seen she was nothing more than a swirling darkness now, even if she had flesh underneath, all that could be seen was the black mist that shaped her, her arms grew long and her fist grew larger than a person’s head, it felt like she was shaped just to punch farther and harder than ever.

“You are not better than me; I will kill everyone that stands against me, I was born for it, my soul calls for your blood Kojiro Adachi. Remember that you are a beast, unless you remember that you too will die, remember fear, remember your pitiful self.” Kojiro smirked as he saw that shade, it was quiet vicious even in her ambiguous shape and yet she was making more sense than before. “I see, you are a strange one too, but we are not the same.” A red eye shined staring at him as she moved her long limbs to make a pair of boxing fists. “I’m no demon and neither are you; sorry miss but you are nothing that special.” Kojiro walked forward as the darkness that emanated from her began to surround them both.

“You too were born a little stranger, but I’m sure you are but another boring human like the rest of us. I haven’t forgotten how pitiful I am, I was unable to protect anyone or archive anything, but fighting that I can do. It’s the easiest thing in the world for me and I can´t see myself ever losing to you.” The demon twisted her head as she took a boxing stance, but with her new shape it looked completely bizarre.

“If you want to see me afraid come and make me, you little devil.” With a dry cry the demon rushed with black a cloud behind her, Kojiro threw his own punch towards her glowing eye which simply melted into the shadows as she dodged it with ease, her long claw descending from his right and straight into his abdomen, he took the hit feeling his entire body recoil as he felt pain again after so many years..}

“Huh, that hurts.” He said with smile as he threw back a strong kick with such intensity he released a current of wind with that act alone, blasting away the darkness, but it regained itself covering everything around him just as fast and the claws of the demon reached him landing a vicious blow to his chest, Kojiro threw another punch that the shade evaded moving her huge body like water in the darkness, he pursue her with a swipe and then another kick that she dodged by ducking and twisting her back completely, letting his arm to pass freely above her.

“¡DIEDIEDIEDIEIDE!” Her screams became one with the ambient coming from everywhere at once, she stood firmly again her face reaching his own height as she sent another jab forward for the first time Kojiro blocked with both arms.”¡Ahhh you, you are nothing, nothing!” He took the blow straight and she quickly began to pummel him, fist becoming less like the strikes of a boxer and more like a barrage of furious tiger’s swipes.

“Hahaha that’s the spirit, some of you do have guts, but I´m sorry, you hurt my friend and so I can´t let you go.” Kojiro´s smile grew wider as he let his arms fall and received a swipe through his chest leaving clear bleed marks for each of her claws in his skin, but he quickly grabbed both of her arms with his, and threw a head-butt straight into her face, she went limp for a second but her legs kicked him on the chest forcing him to let her go and she then felt into the shadows disappearing.

“It aches, but you’re fighting is getting a little desperate, don´t tell me you´re forgetting how to fight.” His chest was bleeding, but he didn´t seem to mind it.

“ARRRG, you cannot be human, you cannot. ¿The world’s strongest? ¡That will have to be me I was born for it; I’m a demon who was born for killing and killing alone!” Kojiro took of his sunglasses that had completely broken and let them fall. “¿That sounds pretty boring to me, who told you that? I think I had someone said something similar about me once, but he wasn´t right, he never was.”

Kojiro dodged a fist that headed straight to his face and began to walk backwards.

“¡Maybe we really are the same, just two big cowards that can only hit each other to the death!” Kojiro punched back and the shadow moved as he did as well, as he threw each of his fists she seemly banished sending one of her own who he simply blocked with his other arm. “¡You scum you let them all to die, that is your sin so follow their steps in hell! ¡So show me your real fury!”

Kojiros smile banished as he blocked another strike and stared into the glowing eyes.

“I’m not angry.” He said calmly and sent his own fist forward with all of his strength. The creature screeched a dodged out of the way as the air pressure from his strike blew away the dark clouds and Kojiro made long rush forward finally escaping from the darkness and into the city street.

“There is no point in being angry at you, it’s my fault that even with this body I did nothing to save them, I feel terrible sad now, but nothing more.” He turned back and stared at the darkness that was beginning to condense only around her again. “¡You are the same as your friend whose heart I pierced…you both are liars, human wretches that can only care about yourselves, but pretend otherwise. This is a fight, so its kill or die…stop spouting nonsense!” Her voice had grown weak and the tall figure that stood amidst the dancing shadows was bending forward her hair falling down like a veil.

Kojiro´s eyes where somber and frail, looking far too gently at his enemy.

“To answer your question, no I don´t believe in demons.” He spoke softly just as she did before. “You are just like the rest of us, weak and lost.” Kojiro raised his fist high above. “But you killed him, so be ready for the same fate.”

“Me…a …human…weak…nonnononononononnon. I´m a demon. ¡A demon!” Her speech became into senseless wailings. Kojiro remained confident, after all this was never being a fair fight, he could take all her anger, but his fist alone would end her, he could only hope that would help make the hole in his heart to stop aching that much. The demon in shadows walked forward with a trail of black smoke behind her, Kojiro walked onwards as well, the shadows that surrounded them where long gone now.

“Seems like you´ve run out gas a pity.” He grinned bitterly.

She raised her hands taking a boxers posture again as he walked forward completely unguarded.

“You called me human just like he did back then…fools the two of you, nothing but fools.” Her voice was hoarse and tired, as the creature tried to stand straight with her red eyes looking into his.

“Hmm I wonder. ¿If my sister hadn´t been around maybe I would have ended a demon as well? I really couldn´t thank her enough.”Kojiro leaped forward breaking the asphalt where he stood and she quickly dodged back his fist. She hit back against his arms moving at a terrifying speed a black mist trailing behind her making it look like she was in two places at once; she punched and punched trying to pass his guard from every direction.

Kojiro finally let his guard drop leaving himself wide open again after the onslaught, as he raised his own fist, she couldn´t wait, her long claws were covered in a thick shadow like iron gauntlets as she sent a straight hit right into his heart, his fist slamming down into her face at the same time.

“¡Go dance in hell with your kin!” His fist crushed the shadows sending her flying back and into the broken street, there she slammed and rolled far away, all of her body twisting like a ragdoll. Kojiro looked down as he sighed. “Still… your fist was pretty good, you can be proud of that.” Kojiro spitted blood as he bended forward barely regaining his footing, there was now a bloody red hole upon his chest, she couldn´t pierce his heart, but he was still bleeding pretty deep.

“Now I just need to wait for my real enemy, hope you got what you were looking for little devil.”

The sun of his chest was bleeding, but he could still stand tall all the same as he looked at the fallen demon whose black mist were being carried away into the wind and her monstrous self was slowly shrinking in turn turning human, the shadow drifting away from within her and into nothing. “I guess I won´t be returning those shades, I hope you are still around to complain to me.” Kojiro walked towards the fallen demon, but his eyes saw someone else rush towards her first. A small woman with black hair and black tank top, she was no longer a dragon, just another stranger he did not know.

“¿Little bunny I guess you do know how to take a punch, ready for another go?”

“Sorry but our job is done and I´ll be taking her.” Her fighting posture was lacking, it was easy to tell she couldn´t keep fighting anymore.

“¿Really? That woman wanted to battle me to the death, I´ll be rude to deny her that.”

Kojiro raised his fist, but before could move a single step he felt something else pierce him from the back. “Agg” He groaned as he lost his balance and had to stop short of attacking her, he felt a great ache in his hand so he raised it to see that something had pierced his shoulder leaving him with another deep and bloodied wound.

“¿Hmm?” Kojiro turned back and saw a bright yellow light heading towards him; he barely evaded it with a long jump backwards as he looked towards its source.

“There goes the surprise attack…”

A woman in a white military long coat was kneeling with her arm opened and showing a long barrel come from inside that was being pointed at him, a yellow bright light glowed within it a spinning device upon her shoulder.

She was rather small with short black hair and with a pallid lifeless face. “¡Hey civilians get lost or I won´t answer for my next shoot!” She screamed at the two women near the gigantic man, but with barely any urgency as if it didn’t matter if they heard her at all.

Kojiro turned back to see Yong holding the fallen woman on her hands, her naked body had returned back to that of a human, even if darkness still shrouded her lightly it was almost completely fainted. Kojiro jumped towards them, Yong jumped as well evading his fall, he quickly raised his fists to pursue them, but stopped as he heard a buzzing sound. A bright white light headed towards him, he couldn´t quite see what it was, but he quickly moved to the side as it passed where he had stood and exploded upon reaching the floor. Kojiro returned his attention towards Helga Wright and forgot about the other two that were now long gone. “Very well you have all my attention now; honestly it sure took you a while to come Salvatore´s dog.”

“You have the right to remain silent… and stuff.” The device on her shoulder glowed with bright with light, as did her cannon upon her arm, it was powerful rail gun that she needed to set upon the ground to operate, but had enough strength to pierce even his skin. “Damn Dino…why did you insisted so much in helping her…” She mumbled quietly.

“So he won´t even show his face, that Salvatore isn´t so valiant then.”

“Sorry you will have to make due with me.” The cannon hummed as she prepared another shoot, the electricity accumulated on her arm with every rotation.

“¡Fine I´ll kill you and everyone he send till he has no choice, but to come and die himself! Kojiro ran to the side rather than towards her, she silently moved her aim in his direct as the next shoot was about to be set. Kojiro reached the giant steel ball that had been abandoned along with the broken chain and with a furious kick he threw it forward like a simple football.

The cannon fired off straight into the steel ball, it was pierced in its center and covered inside an explosion, but its broken remains still flew towards her like bullets and she had to dodge them with a roll, her arm was still hit by all the rubble and broke in places as it began to shrink.

Helga stared back into the curtain of dust that rose from the explosion where a gigantic shadow emerged; Kojiro broke though the smoke and send a punch to her.

“I guess I´ll have to go at full power…” Her arm turned into a shining bright liquid and transformed itself into a gigantic metal fist that she used to hit against him, both arms crashed against each other, Kojiro´s fist made parts of her arm crumble, but she wasn’t pushed back, and forced the gigantic man into a stalemate even if her arm was rumbling and creaking from the huge pressure.

“What a drag…” Her eye patch began to glow as something pierced it from inside, it was small visor that emerged and from it a metical substance began to spread slowly through her face, turning her skin into a living metal. “You are under arrest Kojiro Adachi.” He grinned at her calm answer as the two of them separated again, her arm began to slowly rebuild itself a machine in constant construction, it seemed almost like magic to the naked eye.

“¡It took me long too, but I can finally say it. ¡Just you try Salvatore, but I’m the strongest and not even you can change that!” Kojiro raised his fist in front of him closing them so strongly veins starting showing all over his muscles.

“¡I’m the world’s strongest so try to take my life, Salvatore!
