Chapter 21:

Tengriyan: God's Land

Fate

Lordhair stood between Varys and Vermithor in his majestic White Griffin form. As his white wings radiated light, the aura surrounding him exuded pure tranquility. Noticing both Vermithor and Varys were looking at him intently, he began speaking in a calm, authoritative voice:

Lordhair: "Yes, everything has gone according to plan. Your presence here, this war, this moment... it was all part of my plan."

Vermithor, stepping forward with a mix of astonishment and anger, asked:

Vermithor: "What do you mean, Lordhair? Why did you lead us here? Why did you allow yourself to be captured and give us so much information?"

Lordhair lowered his eyes briefly before raising his head and taking a deep breath. His voice was calm but firm:

Lordhair: "I did all of this to ensure the two armies would meet here. I allowed myself to be captured. I deliberately reported my position to you. Because only in this way could we come together and find a final solution. He turned his gaze toward Varys and added: If no one had come to attack me at night, things would have moved faster."

Lordhair’s words echoed through the valley’s silence. Both armies were stunned by this revelation. Vermithor’s anger became more evident, while Varys continued to listen quietly. Lordhair continued:

Lordhair: "I want the bloodshed throughout history to end. The eternal conflict between darkness and light must cease. I can change everything without spilling any more blood."

These words sparked a new hope to stop the war, but the reactions of the two leaders to these unexpected explanations would determine the fate of the battle.

Varys, trying to understand the complexity of Lordhair's plans, asked:

Varys: "When you willingly accepted being captured, what made you think I would let you live?"

Lordhair lightly spread his white wings and paused for a moment, then replied with a slight smile:

Lordhair: "I didn’t think you would let me live, Varys. It was just a simple gamble."

The power Varys had held for centuries had now transferred to Lordhair. As a result, Varys’ body aged, and with the loss of power, it began to slowly disintegrate. Pieces of his skin and the cracking armor were signs that his physical form was starting to fade.

However, even as Varys felt the effects of this change, he stood upright, carefully maintaining his leadership presence. His blue aura flickered weakly, but it still reflected the warrior spirit within him. He turned to face Lordhair and, with a calm but sharp tone, asked:

Varys: "How will you change it? It’s not enough with words alone… Why do you think you can stop the spilled blood?"

Lordhair nodded calmly in response to Varys’ question, acknowledging his point:

Lordhair: "You’re right, let me explain."

His white aura flickered slightly as he continued with authority in his voice:

Lordhair: "Phantom... A machine I created. A device capable of manipulating time and fate, with the power to shift dimensions. However, there was a moment when I couldn't fully control its power. At that moment, a small cat… yes, a cat… unintentionally activated Phantom. And it was then that it dragged me into this dimension."

As Lordhair's words filled the battlefield, Vermithor looked at him with suspicion and spoke sharply:

Vermithor: "If Phantom is truly this powerful, it could indeed change everything. But you can't use it here. Now, tell us what your plan is regarding this."

Lordhair, taking a deep breath in response to Vermithor’s reaction, raised his head and answered:

Lordhair: "My plan is simple. Phantom still exists in my dimension and is safe there. But there is a way to return from here to there. Vermithor, remember when I first arrived, you told me, ‘When our task is done, we can send you back with the ancient sorcerers’? Send me back. I will regain control of the machine and change the past."

Everyone on the battlefield fell silent at this revelation.

Lordhair: "So, what is your response to my offer? Don’t you want all this to end?"

Varys: "We need time to think."

Vermithor: "How do we know you're not doing this to escape everything, Lordhair?"

Lordhair: "Send me back, Vermithor. Let me change the past. I can radically change the fate of this war.

"Even if I stay here, I won`t be your puppet. Vermithor."

Solve, not wanting to intervene in the leaders' conversation, clenched his fist and interrupted: "Send me there with Lordhair, Vermithor. I’ll check if everything will really change. Using Phantom, he could send me back here."

Solve: "If such a device truly exists, all the centuries of accumulated suffering could be erased. No one would have to die in this long war, perhaps. I should take this risk. We should."

Vermithor looked around thoughtfully at the armies and realized there was no other choice. Otherwise, this place would become a bloodbath. Who would want that? With a determined expression, he turned to Lordhair and said: "I accept."

Lordhair turned to Varys and asked: "What do you think? If I do this, you’ll be like an ordinary human, dead centuries ago. Don’t you think you need to rest by now? Let the new Draugr King take the reins of this ship."

Varys thought for a moment and turned to his soldiers, who had been with him for centuries. He realized they were all tired, and with a firm voice, he said: "I accept."

Thus, the first step of a new era had been taken.

Vermithor: (To the ancient sorcerers) "Come here. I command you to open a door to Lordhair’s dimension. We will end this war."

The ancient sorcerers quickly approached. Morenyx stepped forward, leading the others, and turned to Lordhair, speaking:

Morenyx: "While opening the door, support us with your magic, Lordhair. Let’s center it around your power and open the door in the right place. Visualize the area where the door will open in your mind."

Lordhair turned to Solve and took a step closer. With a slight smile, he extended his hand and spoke:

Lordhair: "Hold my hand, this might be a bit overwhelming."

Solve hesitated for a moment but firmly grasped Lordhair’s hand. Lordhair closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and imagined the laboratory where Phantom was located. As his concentration deepened, Morenyx and the other sorcerers focused their magical energies.

Soon, the air was filled with the energy of ancient magic. As the image of the laboratory Lordhair had envisioned became clearer in his mind, a door began to materialize in front of them. The door took shape with a brilliant light, vibrating before stabilizing. On the other side, the laboratory where Phantom was located became clearly visible.

Solve stared in astonishment at the image of the laboratory:

Solve: "Is... is this really it?"

Lordhair smiled and responded:

Lordhair: "Yes, the place where it all began. Now, it’s time to end everything."

They began walking toward the door. Meanwhile, Vermithor and Varys stood by the door, watching them.

Lordhair: "Ah, I almost forgot, I didn’t take the dimensional coordinates." (Suddenly activates a dimensional control device that appears in his hand.)

Solve: "What are the coordinates for?"

Lordhair: "If we want to change the fate of this dimension, we need to record its coordinates." (He enters a string of code, and the recording is completed.)

Lordhair: "All set, now we can go."

They step through the door, and as they pass through, the portal suddenly closes. Solve and Lordhair find themselves in Phantom’s laboratory.

Lordhair: "We shouldn’t waste any time. We need to get to work right away." (He quickly heads toward the laboratory, reaching Phantom’s device. He activates it and begins entering the dimensional coordinates.)

Solve: "This thing... can it really change the past?"

Lordhair: "If we use it correctly, yes. Just be patient and follow my lead."

As the coordinate entries were completed, lights in the laboratory began flashing, indicating that the process to alter time and fate was now ready to be initiated.

(While Lordhair inspects the Phantom’s panels, Jorah’s monitoring team starts moving elsewhere.)

(In the team’s headquarters)

Operation Leader: "We’ve detected Lordhair’s life signals. The source... the laboratory! Inform His Majesty Jorah Iron immediately!"

(Jorah Iron receives the information.)

Messengers: "Your Majesty, Lordhair’s signals are coming from the laboratory. We believe he’s there."

Jorah Iron: "Open the laboratory’s camera systems immediately. Display the footage on the screen. Verify if it’s really him."

(With the team’s swift coordination, the camera systems are activated and the footage is transmitted to the center.)

On the screen, Lordhair and Solve are seen beside Phantom. Lordhair is working quickly on the panels while Solve stands by his side.

Lordhair: "Okay, we’re ready. Everything’s set. But there’s one thing... I still don’t know how the machine will respond to our request. It might give us the power to change everything directly, or it might ask us what we want to change. Be ready for anything, Solve."

Solve: "Okay. I’m ready to do whatever is needed."

(Lordhair takes a deep breath, looks at Phantom’s panel one last time, and presses the button. Phantom starts working. Lights in the laboratory flicker, and the device hums with activation. Both of them hold their breath, waiting for the outcome.)

(On the screen, as Lordhair and Solve are seen beside Phantom, a warning appears regarding the radiation levels in the laboratory.)

Technical Supervisor: "Your Majesty, the radiation levels in the laboratory have reached dangerous levels. The increase is continuing without stopping."

Jorah Iron: (Angrily) "This kid is going to cause chaos again! Stop them immediately! Send a team with radiation protection suits to the laboratory. If it’s showing up on our scanners, other countries might see it too. What have you done, Lordhair?"

(Soldiers quickly put on their radiation protection suits and rush toward the laboratory. They move swiftly to reach the area where the laboratory is located.)

(Meanwhile, in the laboratory, Lordhair and Solve are waiting for a response from Phantom’s system. Suddenly, a large dimensional door appears in front of Phantom. A powerful voice echoes from the door.)

Unknown Voice: "Enter, unwelcome guests. You will not be welcomed here."

Solve: "What is this? Where will this gate take us?"

Lordhair: "The only way to find out is to step through. Are you ready?"

Solve nods, and together with Lordhair, they step through the gate.

At the same time, Jorah Iron, who is monitoring the laboratory:

Jorah: "Where are they going?"

The research team sends another update, reporting that Lordhair's life signals have been cut off again.

Jorah Iron turns to one of his soldiers:

Jorah: "Have the soldiers take position in the laboratory, in case something goes wrong. Go and inform everyone of my orders."

Soldier: "As you command, my majesty."

Lordhair and Solve suddenly find themselves in a desert filled with pyramids from centuries ago. It is a time when everything is still taking shape.

Solve: "I've never been in such a hot place before. Unbelievable."

Lordhair: "There are many such places on this world. When it's all over, you can explore as much as you like."

(As Lordhair surveys the surroundings, a small piece of Phantom suddenly appears in his hand. The piece trembles slightly and emits a sound.)

Phantom Piece: "What is your command, Master Lordhair?"

Solve: "How... how is this even possible?"

Lordhair: "I don't know yet. As long as it’s useful, I don't see a problem."

Lordhair: "Solve, do you know the name of the king who turned Varys into the Draugr King?"

Solve: "His name is Gravillos. Why do you ask?"

Lordhair: "Phantom, take us to where Gravillos is."

Suddenly, the environment changes, and they find themselves in the capital of the Northern Kingdom, "Northarie." The surroundings look majestic, almost as if constructed from a spell of ice, solid yet beautiful.

Lordhair: "I didn't think something like this was possible."

Solve: "Let's find Gravillos and erase the plan to create the Draugr army from his mind. That should be enough."

Lordhair: "No, this won’t be enough. I will erase the very possibility of something like this existing in this dimension."

Lordhair: "Phantom, can you perform a fate manipulation that covers every part of this dimension, no matter where I take you?"

Phantom: "Anywhere, anytime, anywhere you desire."

Lordhair: "Good. The first thing we will do is free Varys from his pain and chains, allowing him to start life anew. Do it. Phantom, then take me to Varys."

(A wave of energy spreads from Phantom. A powerful light shines, and the entire surroundings slowly begin to change. Lordhair and Solve squint their eyes, observing the transformation. When the light disappears, they find themselves in a completely new place.)

(They find themselves surrounded by the peaceful atmosphere of a coastal town. A gentle breeze makes the tree branches sway, and bird songs echo in the distance. The sun softly shines in the sky. People walk cheerfully through the streets, children laugh and play. Everything is peaceful and calm.)

(Lordhair scans the surroundings carefully. His eyes lock onto a distant farm where a man is working. At first, he has difficulty recognizing him, but as he focuses, he realizes it’s Varys.)

Varys looks much younger. The burdens of pain and years have been completely wiped away. He is working on the farm with a smiling woman and playing children. Varys is living a peaceful life with his family. Lordhair takes a deep breath upon seeing this, then smiles.

Solve: "You seem to have succeeded, Lordhair."

Phantom: "Fate manipulation successful."

(Lordhair smiles at Solve.)

Solve: "Is this... possible for him?"

Lordhair: "As you can see, it has happened. Varys has received the new beginning he deserved. But our journey isn’t over yet. We need to change King Gravillos too."

Lordhair: "Phantom, how many potential futures exist that will result in the creation of a Draugr King?"

Phantom: "7,003, my lord. With Varys’ change, the number has halved from 14,006."

Lordhair and Solve are quite surprised. Lordhair: "How many of these possibilities can we change at once?"

Phantom: "7,001, my lord."

Solve: Which two are left?

Phantom: "You and I exist."

Lordhair: "This is strange. Who is your master?"

Phantom: "It is you, Master Lordhair."

Lordhair shakes his head and speaks with determination: "Phantom, erase all the possibilities of the Draugr King being created in one go. Solve and I will meet again somehow, because you will always exist. Change the timeline of the past significantly."

Phantom’s voice responds coldly but clearly: "Order received. Draugr King possibilities are being erased. The process has begun."

Solve squints her eyes at the light emanating from Phantom and looks at Lordhair: "Is this... the end of everything?"

Lordhair: "No. This is just a new beginning. The existence of Draugr Kings ends now, but the scars of the war shouldn’t be entirely erased. Some things need to remain balanced."

A wave of energy spreads from Phantom, and as the light envelops the surroundings, the process accelerates. Suddenly, Lordhair realizes there’s something else he wants to add. He turns sharply to Phantom and speaks:

Lordhair: "Phantom, don’t erase my Draugr King powers. Bind these powers to me. I have grown attached to them, and I need them. In the future, these powers can be used for peace."

Phantom remains silent for a moment before responding:

Phantom: "Request acknowledged. Draugr King powers are being reconnected. Synchronization with Lordhair has begun."

Solve, looking at Lordhair with astonishment, speaks:

Solve: "Are you sure these powers are that important?"

Lordhair: "I’m absolutely sure, Solve. In the right hands, these powers can make everything better. Now, watch as the past changes significantly."

A final wave of energy spreads from Phantom, and the surroundings completely transform. As the lights gradually fade, Lordhair and Solve find themselves in an entirely new scene. There are no traces, no history, no darkness left to suggest the creation of a Draugr King. The Northern Kingdom appears calm and peaceful; the scars of the war have been erased from the depths of history.

Solve, with a relaxed expression, surveys the surroundings and speaks:

Solve: "Did we... really do it?"

Lordhair: (Smiling) "Yes, Solve. Everything has been rewritten, including you and me. My powers are still here, and the altar is still mine—some things never change. Just like your green eyes."

Solve: "Oooh, besides fighting, do you have flirting skills too?"

Lordhair: "Of course, what did you think? Am I some kind of battle maniac?"

Solve: "You are."

Lordhair: "Let’s go, let’s see the future."

(Lordhair and Solve, thanks to the light emitted by Phantom, had changed everything. When they returned to the future, they found themselves in the present time of the Northern Kingdom.)

Solve: "Lordhair, look! The Northern Kingdom... It’s so much more beautiful, so much more developed!"

Lordhair: (Carefully surveying the surroundings) "Is it? I’ve never seen this place in the future before."

(Solve paused for a moment, then turned to him. With a mixed expression on her face, she spoke.)
Solve: "My memories have completely changed, Lordhair. I must tell you, someone is waiting for you at the palace."

Lordhair: (Smiling, as if joking) "You can't be serious."

Solve: (Unable to hold back her laughter) "I am serious. Come on, let’s see for ourselves."

(Lordhair and Solve set off together. Since Solve was a princess, she could easily enter the North Kingdom's palace. As they walked through the palace’s magnificent corridors, Lordhair gave Solve a teasing glance.)

Lordhair: "You still can't convince me that someone is waiting for me at the palace, Solve. In the midst of all these changes, why would someone be waiting for me?"

Solve: (With a mysterious expression) "You'll see. Don't you like surprises, Lordhair?"

Lordhair: "I love surprises, but only when I can control them."

(They finally reached the king's room. Solve opened the door, and when Lordhair looked inside, he saw the person sitting on the throne. King Vermithor was sitting on the throne. Lordhair paused for a moment and then realized. Vermithor seemed untouched by the dark fate of the past. He was now the rightful ruler of the North Kingdom. Vermithor gave them a friendly glance.)

Vermithor: "Lordhair. Solve. I'm glad you came."

Lordhair: (Surprised but sincerely) "Vermithor? Is that really you? Here, on the throne?"

Vermithor: (Smiling faintly) "Yes, me. I'm serving as the king of the North Kingdom. It seems you've come a long way. How can I help you?"

(Lordhair remembered the events of the past for a moment and realized that Vermithor was unaware of this fate. While Solve quietly observed, Lordhair began to speak.)

Lordhair: "It's truly wonderful to see you here, Vermithor. But I must say, you can't even imagine how many journeys we've made to get here."

Vermithor: (Seriously) "I have some feelings from the past, but they're unclear. Sometimes, these feelings feel like faint dreams. It's as if another path had been chosen."

(Lordhair took a deep breath and buried everything that had happened in the past. Vermithor's peace and new fate satisfied him.)
Lordhair: (To himself) "The reshaping of the past and future... sometimes choosing the right path makes everything more beautiful."

(Solve approached Vermithor and gave him a light salute with a smile.)
Solve: "You couldn’t be less than a king in the North Kingdom, your majesty."
Vermithor: (Laughing) "Thank you, Solve. And thank you both for being here. This is your home too."

(Lordhair turned to Solve and smiled lightly.)
Lordhair: "This time we've really accomplished something, Solve. What’s next?"
Solve: (Smiling) "What do you think? Perhaps it’s time to enjoy everything?"

Lordhair: "I suppose that’s a good plan."

As the three prepared to enjoy the pleasures of this new world, the peaceful atmosphere of the transformed world surrounded them. The North Kingdom had freed itself from the weight of the past and embraced a brighter future.

Vermithor looked at Solve and Lordhair with a wide smile.
Vermithor: "My sister and close friend have come to visit me. It would be shameful if they aren’t properly served." (Turning to the servants) "Prepare the finest meal for them."

The servants immediately began to prepare a mesmerizing feast in the palace. The three of them sat at the table, enjoying the meal and conversation. Among the laughter, there was warmth, a sincerity that reminded them of the old days.

Solve: (Jokingly) "Vermithor, with this hospitality, you could become a legend in the North Kingdom."

Vermithor: (Laughing) "Legends are from the past. Now, we must live in this moment."

When the meal was over and the three were about to get up from the table, a powerful lightning bolt suddenly struck the palace, shaking it. A blinding light surrounded them, and their vision instantly vanished. When they opened their eyes again, they found themselves in an empty, barren northern land. The ground seemed cracked, and the wind was howling in the empty space.

Solve: (Looking around) "What’s happening? How did we get here?"

Lordhair: (Seriously) "It’s as if we’ve been teleported. This might be some kind of magic."
Vermithor: (Frowning) "Who could possess such power? The kingdom... everything..."

At that moment, a group of angels began to descend from the sky, filled with white light. Unlike the others, one angel stood out. With its white and blue detailed outfit and authoritative stance, it caught everyone’s attention. Solve immediately recognized it.

Solve: "Lordhair, that’s Nira! Vermithor had told us that she disappeared while we were on a mission."

Lordhair: (With a surprised expression) "Are you serious? I hope this doesn’t end badly."

As the angels surrounded them, Nira stared at them coldly. She walked toward Lordhair and pointed her finger at him.

Nira: "You’ve disrupted the order created by our Great God, Lordhair. This is an insult to our God. You will be judged."

Lordhair: (Frowning quickly) "What are you talking about, Nira? What judgment?"

Nira: (In a cold and clear voice) "You’ve changed the order of the past. You’ve exceeded the boundaries set by our God’s design. Your actions will not go unpunished."

Vermithor looked at Nira in astonishment.
Vermithor: "What’s going on here? This must be a mistake. Lordhair brought peace to that kingdom!"

Nira: (Turning her harsh gaze to Vermithor) "You know nothing, Lord Vermithor! Are you calling this peace? Interfering with our God’s order is the greatest destruction."

Solve whispered to Lordhair:
Solve: "This is going badly. If Nira is serious, things could spiral out of control."

Lordhair: "We need to find a way out of this. From what I understand, we can’t clear our names just by talking."

Nira raised her hand, signaling the angels.

Nira: "Take him. Lordhair will face judgment in the presence of our God. The punishment for disrupting the order will be given according to the balance."

(Lordhair’s eyes were fixed on Nira. Taking a slight breath, he looked around at the angels surrounding him, and a sense of determination appeared on his face.)
Lordhair: "So be it. If this is your judgment, then try to stop me first."

With those words, the angels spread their wings and ascended one by one. Lordhair quickly unfurled his wings. The powerful aura of the White Griffin appeared around him. Solve drew her sword and prepared for defense, while Vermithor, with the heavy steps of his steel armor, got ready for action.

(The angels launched their attack. Each one descended like a lightning bolt from the sky. Lordhair rose, and two shining swords appeared in his hands. His wings, like a storm, propelled him to the highest speed.)

Solve: "Lordhair, be careful! There are too many of them!"

Lordhair: (Determined) "The number doesn’t matter. We’re strong enough."

(Lordhair suddenly increased his momentum and, spinning in the air, initiated the White Griffin's unyielding spinning attack. His two swords, spinning like a storm, brought the angels down to the ground. The intense power in the air struck the angels like a flying vortex, creating a reverberating sound that shook the surroundings.)

Solve: (With a surprised expression) "I didn’t know you had such an ability!"

Lordhair: (Smiling lightly) "You’re not the only one with changed memories, Solve."

(Vermithor blocked a group of angels with his thick sword. The angels continued their disciplined assault, but the trio fiercely resisted. Nira watched them motionlessly. Finally, she decided to face Lordhair.)

Nira and Lordhair’s Confrontation

(Nira stepped forward, drawing her bright blue-white sword.)
Nira: "Lordhair, all this struggle is in vain. You cannot stand against the will of our God."

Lordhair: "Is your God’s will about injustice and extrajudicial execution, Nira? I will not bow to it."

(Just as Lordhair and Nira were about to clash, the sky suddenly darkened. Both sides paused in unison. The air was filled with intense energy, and the ground trembled. An incredible force could be felt. The angels and Lordhair saw a massive light descending from the sky.)

(With the light came a being. This was a power belonging to the God’s land "Tengriyan." The name of the power was Khan. Khan carried a will so intense that it could shake the very fabric of the universe and bend everything.)

(Khan Attila, a majestic being, filled the barren land with his presence. The angels, Lordhair, Solve, and Vermithor stood completely still. The sound of his voice echoed, divine and terrifying.)

Khan Attila: "ENOUGH! My order is being disrupted. I will draw the decision in Tengriyan, my land. Humans, angels, and all beings will unite in my will."

(The light intensified, and in an instant, they were all transported to Tengriyan. Tengriyan was a world of endless light and skies. Everything was like a world covered in pure white and lights. The God’s whip was there to judge them all.)

Lordhair, Solve, and Vermithor squinted their eyes in the light, trying to understand what was happening. They felt an immense weight on them, as if the entire universe’s burden had fallen on their shoulders.

As Khan’s presence became more distinct, a voice echoed. It wasn’t just heard with their ears but also in their minds, a voice belonging to a power that defined the boundaries of the universe:

Khan: "You have changed everything. The balance is disrupted. Those who have come to Tengriyan are on the threshold of judgment."

Lordhair, speaking with difficulty, called out:

Lordhair: "Which balance are you talking about? Wasn’t what we did for the sake of good?"

Khan: "Good and evil are your boundaries. But the created order can never be questioned. Now... it’s time for judgment."

Lordhair: "Are you a god?"

Khan: "No, I am the whip of the god."

Great events were slowly coming to a conclusion. Would Lordhair's desire to avoid choosing between the two sides, or his wish to avoid bloodshed, lead him to start a tragedy?
