I woke up, ready to face a new day, unaware of the eerie experiences that awaited me. As I chatted with Linda, the Occult Club room door suddenly swung open. A frightened male student pleaded for our help.
He recounted receiving a mysterious call the night before from a number claiming to be Mister Gepeng, a ghost notorious for haunting school toilets. Linda's curiosity was piqued, and she asked why this ghost was bothering him.
The student explained that his friend had received a similar call the previous week and was found dead the next day, his body brutally mutilated. When he discovered his friend's phone, he found a call from Mister Gepeng's number (777777777) just an hour before his death.
And after knowing that, he tried to call the number but there were no results. That night, he received a call from the same number. All he heard was his friend's blood-curdling screams and cries, as if he was being tortured.
Desperate for help, he sought out the Occult Club, believing that Mister Gepeng's victims only had 1-3 days before meeting a gruesome demise. Linda and I exchanged concerned glances, and I asked the student to take us to the location where his friend's body was found.
Upon arrival, Linda searched for clues while I scoured the toilet for signs of Mister Gepeng. A faint bloodstain on a mirror caught my attention, and as I focused, I glimpsed the ghostly figure of Mister Gepeng, his face twisted in agony.
But when I turned to look again, there was nothing. Linda began researching the legend of Mister Gepeng, uncovering the dark history of a teacher who died trapped in a lift, his face disfigured beyond recognition.
According to legend, Mister Gepeng's restless spirit terrorized students, seeking revenge. However, Linda discovered an article revealing a possible way to lift the curse: visiting the toilet where the student received the call at 11 pm, armed with the blood of a cemani chicken, 11 candles, and a heartfelt apology.
The words "Forgive me, Mister Gepeng, I was one of your favorite students in the past, and I will spread your story to others. Please, don't bother me" were said to have banished the ghost, closing the case.
