Double Love, Double Feelings (Part 1)

This is bad, how am I gonna survive like this?

I sat both as Touka and myself in the sofa, with the same pose. ‘Why’ you ask?

Alright, let me tell you from the beginning;

I wake up both as Touka and myself, go to the sink to brush my teeth, in the sink there were two glass and two brushes, I pick each for Touka and myself. Brush both our teeth. Go to the toilet for our personal use, don’t worry, I enter the toilet one by one.

Then, we change our clothes in our respective room.

All of that, I was doing it half-asleep. Now I fully wake up, I realize what’s strange about it.

Why I feel normal too fast? Normally if people had a same issue as me, they usually more confused, panicked even.

*ding dong*

Doorbell? Ah, Rina!

I opened the door as myself. She’s as usual in front of the door. But this time, she’s using a very serious expression on her face.

“Hey.”

“Hey.” I say it back to her

“So, how’s your day? You know, with her?”

“Strange enough, it’s normal. I can handle it, somehow.”

There is a strange short pause between us. It makes awkward feeling is more intense.

“So you want to come in?” I invite Rina to go inside.

“Yeah, sure.”

I let Rina in, and there’s Touka, sitting on the sofa.

“Hi.” Say me as Touka.

“Hi.” Rina answer it back with an awkward hi gesture.

“Sou-chan, it’s weird, knowing both of you are the same person, opened the door for me and greeted me the second you opened it, and then greeted me again.”

“Well, I’m trying to be not doing anything. But for some reason, I had an urge to do something that I do normally and as Touka, I can’t helped it to feel it like she is a different person.”

Rina paused for a second after I say that.

“Ok, if you really feels like that, I change this day plans”

Rina approach Touka and hug her from behind the sofa.

“I’m gonna do shopping with her instead.”

“Hah!?” “Hah!?”

I surprised with Rina’s change of mind.

“Hold on, what do you mean shopping?” ask me while preparing a drink for Rina.

“We’ve got a lot of food and snacks already.” I completed my own sentence as Touka.

“Yes, we are had a lot of snacks because our gaming session’s yesterday.”

Rina, sat on the sofa beside Touka, and pointing her finger at me.

“Today, is a girls session! So today, me and Touka-chan, is going to the mall today, and I’m sorry Sou-chan, you’re not included.”

“Uhhmm, it’s fair? I guess?” I answer it confusedly. Because Touka is also me, so, she’s still doing it on my behalf(?)

“That’s up to you, Rina. I don’t really mind it. But remember to keep it low on the money though. Because-“

“Yeah, I know.”

“So, come here!” Say Rina while grabbing Touka hand.

“Whoa!” She’s bring me into Touka’s bedroom.

She close the door. I sat on the sofa with the drinks, and focused more on controlling Touka.

Rina locked the door behind her.

“Um, Rina. What are you doing?”

“What am I doing? You’ve already know, doesn’t it?”

“What? What did I know?”

Rina look at me very seriously.

“You’ve rarely talk to another girls outside our school. But here you are, dressing up as Touka in your house-casual clothes, and boy, you are beautiful!”

I blushed a little because of Rina’s compliment.

“Th…thanks, Rina. But really, there’s a lot of options already in the wardrobe. I think I had enough clothes to wear.”

“No no no no, Touka,……”

She grab both my arm, and look at me very closely.

“Sou-chan, listen to me. There is no ‘enough’, for clothes and other girly stuff for women, you know.”

“Ri,…..Rina. Your eye is scary you know.” I said that to Rina, but that eyes, well, I said ‘scary’, but in reality it’s sparkling. She usually like that when she talk about everything she like or take an interest. Kai and myself is usually take the ‘hit’ when Rina was already in that state.

“Oh, finally I had another girl friend,-”

She cleared her throat to emphasize her sentence. Typical Rina.

“-…Ughhmm…..Girl-friend to invite.”

Rina opened my wardrobe and picked a few of the dress and put it on the bed.

She choose one of the dresses, and compare it in front of me.

“Yup, this will do. Wear this, I’ll wait you outside. I will drag you personally if you didn’t show up.”

She get out from the room and from my ‘Souta’ body, she is also get out from my apartment. Oh boy, she’s getting her wallet. Again.

I, as Touka wear the dress prepared by Rina, and when I finished, I look into the mirror.

There’s me, a girl who use her, navy blouse with a blue checkered shirt outfront.

I am gorgeous!

There’s a beauty in front of me. Of course, Rina is beautiful too, but Touka……..I am in another level.

“If you’re done. I’ll still waiting for you, you know.”

“Wah! Oh my god, you scared me, Rina.”

“*chuckles*………You had more time to do that once we’re in the mall you know.” Said Rina while she close the door again slowly.

“Wait…..what!?”

I was stoned for a second there.

Did she, just……
Oh, mom, dad….. looks like I stepped into another world.

“Hey, Touka-chan! Come here fast!”

“Slow down, Rin-san. We’re not at the closing time.”

She’s rushing to the store. There is a bunch of store in here. That include, clothing, which we agreed on.

“Hmmm” Rin-san is already choosing dress which is displayed in the middle of the shop.

“Hey, Touka-chan…..what do you think?”

She’s showing me a red blouse and a white one-piece dress.

“Both is good.”

“Alright, let’s take it both.”

After that, it was a lot. We’re ended up buying a lot of things. But, surprisingly, I enjoyed it. Maybe it’s because I’m Touka – a girl – right now?

“It seems, you’ve enjoy it.” Say Rin-san beside me.

“Yeah, to be honest, I’m surprised that I can enjoy this.”

“We can do this another time too.”

“As long as I have the money.”

“Hahahaha. You’re right.”

We paused there, because we’re already on the way back to the apartment.

But, for the first time, I need to ask something to her.

“Hey, Rin-san.”

“Yeah. What’s wrong?”

“I want to ask, did you reject me?”, I ask as Souta to her. Because technically, I still don’t know Rina’s answer to my confession.

Rin-san was shocked for a moment, but she keep her composure.

“What do you mean, reject?”

“I mean, when Onii-chan confessed to you, why do you saying it like that?”, I slipped into Touka mode, but it makes Rin-san think for a moment.

“Ah, that……. That’s because…..”

“Because?”

Rin’s face is getting red.

“……Because, I don’t know what to say.”

I want to comment on it, but before I was about to say anything, Rin-san continue her sentence.

“I love him too, you know.”

I was shocked, and I also blushed there.

Wait, so Rin-san accepted Onii-chan!?

“So, why-“

Rin cut my sentence, “I was too shy, that I ended up saying that. Plus there was you too.”

Because Rin say that, I immediately hugged her.

“Thank you for accepting my love, Rina. I love you.” I say it as Souta again. Because I want Rina feel what I feel right now.

Rin-san is smiling to me

“I love you too, Sou-chan.”

I backed up a little to give her a space, and I'm back to Touka mode.

“So, Rin-san. Congrats of the confession.”

Rin-san nod, “Yeah.”

As the mood is high again, we continue our way back to the apartment.

“By the way, nice acting. With that, now everyone, including myself, is not confusing you both.”

“Huh, what do you mean, Rin-san?”

“For starter, you calling me Rin-san instead Rina like you used to. Second, you call your male-self as Onii-chan. Nice touch there, knowing Touka is your ‘younger twins’.”

Hold on. Did I say that?
