21. Nullifying criminality

O - For today’s order of business, how can we decrease and possibly nullify all criminal activities?

A - That’s difficult... There always have been bandits. And no Cécile, we won’t just kill them all.

C - I didn’t say anything!

S - It’s true that if we don’t manage to eradicate the causes behind every reasons why people turn ti criminality and terrorism, no matter how many we defeat, more will eventually rise. So what are the causes we could tackle?

F - Let’s review that... What do scoundrels need, or want? Well, the basics first like everyone else. Food to survive. And for too many men... Sex.

Criminality wasn’t just about ransacking travellers and caravans.

A consequential statistic of the criminal activities turned around sexual urges.

Even us had easily been targeted more times than it would be funny to recount, because of our gender.

We were all aware of that, even if we didn’t enjoy talking about it.

J - For the food and wealth part, so long we manage to make wealth increase manifold generally, we should be able to provide even meaningless but substantial jobs to everybody. So long we can create a stupid amount of wealth, and I don’t see why we couldn’t with our powers combined, that’s arguably easy to solve. Sex trafficking however...

C - Everything goes together so we need to tackle as many causes as possible at once, otherwise the issues will just morph and relocate. So we need a solution that goes along at the same time wealth will rise to address general sexual frustration?

O - That’s embarrassing...

The seven sages were young maidens overall. It would have been easier if all there was to solve criminality was to beat up a few back-alleys criminals in the middle of the night.

Being smarter meant working to cure the causes, not fighting the symptoms endlessly.

F - Let’s be realistic. There will always be reasons for low level criminality like assaults... But police forces would generally manage. All the better since monsters are mostly a thing of the past. It’s organised criminal activities, black markets, forced prostitution and slavery we want to root out.

D - Then I agree with Josephine, when it will become easily more profitable and less risky to have a simple and virtuous life, most of these parallels markets will simply dry out...

C - Except for sex related matters.

S - Hmm...

J - As the only boy present, what’s your thought Silvia?

S - I’m a girl!

A - Ah ah...

O - The Robot-Silvias can... What you all were implying before is?

The terrifying idea was thrown on the table.

S - You want me to prostitute myself?!

O - Well not you, but the Robots without feelings. Imagine, if they have infinite stamina, once they have ‘’helped everyone in a bandit camp as much as they wanted’’, what is left for them?

D - Finding food, money...

O - And the Robot can help them reach that prosperity, guiding them into cultivating the surrounding area, doing lumberjack work and such. Miss Siline is good at giving such advices and therefore they could be too. And they could force their way out of banditry if diplomacy isn’t sufficient as a last resort. Basically, since there’s nothing miss Siline can’t achieve, there’s bound to be a way to turn most criminal activities into good citizenship. And when it comes to relieving sexual frustration without endangering anyone’s life and wellbeing, who’s better than a golem that lady Siline commands?

D - Hmm. I see your point...

C - I think a good bandit is a dead bandit...

J - But we could manage to avoid all bloodshed. Making a nation where banditry doesn’t exist, because there doesn’t need to... Before we launch this full scale, why don’t we try it somewhere? As an experiment? What do you think Silvia?

S - Eh... Nanites? How would you feel about that?

N - WE’RE IN!

S - Any experience is a good experience to you, geez... Alright, let’s test that theory.

Thankfully, nanites would feel emotionally indifferent about sex, especially if it was not consensual. But it still felt awfully wrong to use them like that.

I brought a Robot-Silvia on the outskirts of the next crime den we heard about, dressed fancily, and to walk over there on her own...

It was like a gift from heavens to criminals. And this time it wouldn't be a girl from the Radiant Firebond whom are able to handle a few people on their own. Albeit she could, but it was not her initial directive.

S - If you don’t like what’s happening, you just cancel the Robot form right away and return to me. Understood little nanites? I don’t want you to suffer the kind of traumas rape can be for us.

RS0002 - Understood lady Silvia. But I’m confident I will manage to make them return to the right path!

She seemed too naïve... I knew it was just the nanites being chirpy at playing a different game from their ordinary monotonous existence, but still.

The android looking like a sensual young adult went ahead to her obvious doom. I couldn’t watch or listen to that so I went away. I would just check on the reports coming later.
