Chapter 7:
Jurassic World: Genesis
Area 8 (High-Risk Containment Zone)
Shu: barely breathing "It’s… the T-Rex."
As if summoned by name, the skies cracked open. Rain poured like a waterfall from above, and thunder rumbled with primal fury. A vicious wind howled through the shattered jungle, bending trees and scattering debris.
*Then—
The roar.
A monstrous, ear-splitting roar that shook the earth beneath their feet.*
It was the loudest sound any of them had ever heard. A scream of raw power, ancient and unstoppable.
Sgt. Macro threw up his fist.
Sgt. Macro: whispering "Nobody move. Don’t. Make. A sound."
They stood frozen inside the ruined lab, barely daring to breathe. Then—through the cracked glass wall—they saw it.
The T-Rex.
Its massive silhouette appeared like a phantom in the rain. Eyes glowing, breath misting in the cold air. It stared at them. Watching. Judging.
For a few heart-stopping seconds, it just stood there. Then… it turned and vanished into the jungle.
A wave of shaky relief swept through the survivors.
Ken: whispering, terrified "We’re not gonna survive this…"
Soldier 8: trying to act brave "I’ll check outside. Make sure it’s really gone."
Soldier 29: "I’m coming with you."
Both men grabbed their rifles and stepped cautiously into the storm.
The rain pounded against their helmets. Visibility was low. Thunder cracked again.
Soldier 8: scanning the jungle "It’s gone! Hah—It’s really gone!"
He laughed nervously—too soon.
*A growl. Deep. Close.
They turned.
Just in time to see the T-Rex’s colossal jaws open.*
The roar came again—this time in perfect sync with a flash of lightning.
They opened fire. Bullets lit the storm.
The T-Rex didn’t flinch.
With one thunderous stomp, it crushed Soldier 29 beneath its foot—bones snapping like twigs.
Soldier 8: screaming "NO!"
He ran for the lab. The T-Rex charged behind him, trees breaking in its path.
Just as Soldier 8 reached the entrance, the T-Rex lunged—its teeth clamped down. He screamed once before he was lifted into the air, then silenced.
Inside the lab, everyone watched in horror from behind the glass.
Then, with a thunderous crash—
The T-Rex slammed its head into the glass wall.
Cracks spiderwebbed across the surface.
Sgt. Macro: "BACK! GET BACK NOW!"
Too late.
The T-Rex rammed the glass again. It shattered—exploding inward like a bomb.
Soldier 17, who had been standing too close, was snatched in an instant.
One bite.
Gone.
