Prologue: Shinkiro

The Turritopsis Dohrnii—more commonly known as the Immortal Jellyfish—has the unique ability to never perish on its own terms.
Once it gets to a certain stage in its life, it can rebirth itself, over and over and over, therefore letting it live for all eternity.
A fitting name, the Immortal Jellyfish.
Humans, on the other hand, aren’t so lucky.
The average lifespan for a regular human is around 80 years.
In comparison to the Turritopsis Dohrnii, this is nothing.
We are so insignificant as humans, no matter what we do.
Whether it be life changing, or simply choosing what to eat, it will all be forgotten when the time comes.
