Ravenfeather's truth, Part 2

Ravenfeather went away, far from DarkClan and hid in a cave. Crowpaw peeked inside the cave, and Ravenfeather was shouting at literally no one and nothing, while sobbing, Crowpaw was Confused, because Ravenfeather NEVER cried... Ravenfeather flopped down on the ground and started bawling his eyes out, Crowpaw silently stepped into the cave, 

"Dad...? A-are you... okay...?" Crowpaw asked quietly.

When Ravenfeather heard Crowpaw's voice, he froze, 'HE CAUGHT ME CRYING! HOW HUMILIATING!' He thought, 

"Didn't I tell you to go to sleep?" Ravenfeather asked in a raspy voice,

"Yeah... but why are you crying...?" Crowpaw asked innocently.

Ravenfeather took an unstable breath while still trying to hold back his tears, "I never hated you..." He admitted, "Then why do you act lik-" Crowpaw asked again, before his father cut him off,

"I was upset about me having to be forced to kill your mom..." Ravenfeather gulped a sob,

"Wait, y-you didn't w-want to... k-kill her?" Crowpaw asked innocently,

"N-no..." Ravenfeather breathed, "After Darkstar found out about mine and your mother's relationship... shortly after... your mother kitted... she said that if I wanted to not be killed, I would have to... um..." Ravenfeather gulped, "Everytime you... look  me in my eyes... it reminds me of your mother..." Ravenfeather admitted, Crowpaw was shocked.

"...I... I'm gonna go back to camp...." Crowpaw said briskly then waddled away, leaving Ravenfeather alone.
