First impression

It was late in the night... Streets were already empty, the only thing heard outside were raindrops hitting windows from apartments, trying to fight their way inside peoples homes.. But this peaceful rythm was interupted by a loud yelling comming from one of the many windows.. 

"What were you thinking?! Are you insane!? Thats not how I raised you! Bad enough that you refused to go study overseas, but now you also drop out of college?!", mans voice rang through an apartment, filled with furry and dissapointment as he stared at his daughter.

"You don't understand! I dont want to spent the rest of my life as a lawier! Sitting behind a computer, listen to other people complain... Thats not how I imagine my life to go!", the girl protested, tears welling up in her eyes, but her father was having none of it.

"Do I look like I care?! I went through hell and back to convince the Headmaster to take you there! I paid for everything you needed! School supplies, school dorms, whole first semester and you are throwing it all away?!"

"But dad-"

"Dont try this on me Saori! You have ONE week to find another school and hope they will accept you now in a middle of first semester... Till you do, I dont want to see you here!", he yelled and pointed at the doors from the apartment 

In the heated moment, Saori didnt waste a single moment and ran out of the apartment. She didnt even know where is she going, tears were steaming down her face, but there was a hint of determition in her eyes. Her whole world was crumbling down right before her, but she refused to give in her fathers demands! She will fix this mess... At least she will try..

But as days passed and her time was running off, she found herself doubting that foolish decision.. She lived in a small hotel room and today she needed to leave.. She had nowhere to go, her money were running out and there wasnt a single school that would be willing to accept her.. She was desperate.. But that day, something happened..

After leaving hotel, she found herself walking through the streets, sun shining bright in the sky.. It was around 10am, she could hear birds chirping, people talking and children running around.. Cold autum wind ran through her hair, making her feel at ease at least this single moment. As she made her way through city park, she noticed a poster at one of street lamps... Taking a closer look, her heart started pounding. It was a notice about a job opportunity...

"We are searching for young, talented people with big dreams and ambitions.. Our team focus on photographing pictures all around the world and selling them to magazine agencies.. Who isnt afraid of a challenge to leave everything behind and dive into brand new world of traveling, getting to know different cultures and people, learning something new about our planet and is ready to spent years away from home, come to this adress..", Saori read out loud, her eyes sparkling with excitement

Traveling... She never thought about that possibility. But when she thought about it now, the idea of going somewhere far far away and seeing every single place in whole world seemed tempting, but also a bit scary.. After all, leaving everything she knew behind wasnt very smart decision... But when she remembered her fight with that old man, her body moved on its own and her mind set on new goal... She will get the job!

"Congratulations! You are hired!", the interwiever told her right away

Saori couldnt believe her ears: "Really? Just like that? Dont you have other participants as well?"

The man shook his head: "You are the only one who came along with 3 more people.. We are also in a bit of a rush, so we dont really have time for choosing the right people.. You came, you have the job... Now come so I can introduce you to your new collegues"

Saori was still in disbelief, but she followed after him.. And while her face was betraying surprise, inside she was bursting from excitement!

I cant believe it! This is the best day of my life! I wonder what the others will be like! Probably some young determited people with huge dreams! And what if it will be boys?! And I would be stuck in the middle of them with my own harem, they will be fighting for my love and in the end I will choose the one who will capture my heart..

"We are here", the mans voice snapped her out of her thoughts.

Saori quickly looked around, finding herself in some kind of a waiting room. To her dissapointment, she was met with 3 girls, not a boy harem like she hoped so.. But she still tryed to put on a polite smile. "Hello everyone! My name is Saori Akagi! Nice to meet you all!"

The first one to speak was a taller girl with brown hair tided up in a ponytail, a cheerful smile on her face.. "Hey Pinkie! Welcome to our girls gang! Im Tamaki Miyazono!"

"Excuse me? Pinkie? Isnt that a horse in that one cartoon?", Saori asked, taken aback as Tamaki got right in her face.

"Yeah, but you have pink hair so I figured it would be a suitable nickname for you!"

"Well, I wish you wouldnt call me that..", Saori protested and took a step back from her, but before she could say anything else, another voice cut through.

"Such a perfect image! Two girls meeting for the first time, one of them being cheerful and the other a bit cold, both of them starting of as enemies before one night, under stars, they realize they are falling for each other... Such a beautiful thought~", another girl with long black hair, a bit shorter than Tamaki, said, a bit of blood coming from her nose as she gushed over them.

"Uhhh... And you are?", Saori managed to ask, even more caught of guard than she was with Tamaki.

"Oh, how rude of me not to introduce myself..", the girl said with a chuckle and wipped the blood away with a tissue: "I'm Akane Nakano and you two have great chemistry!", she said and gave them a thumb up, her eyes sparkling

Saori forced a smile, but it came of more as a grimace... She could only pray the last girl was somewhat normal to her liking.. Just then, the sound of clearing a throat rang throught the room and the last girl stood up.

"My name is Sumire Amawashi. My father owns one of magazine agencies, so Im here to make sure you three do your job properly! Dont expect any friendly interactions with me, Im here to act like your boss, not friend", she spoke with a hint of superiority in her voice, looking down on them as if they were just a piece of trash on the ground

Saori gulped, realizing this might have been a mistake after all... Those three girls... were anything but normal.. Where did she just appear?! Is this some kind of an alternative universe?!

"Alright girls, now that you have introduced yourselves, your taxi is already waiting..", the man said, making Saoris head snap towards him

"Excuse me, but did you say a taxi? Are we going somewhere?", she asked, dread filling her.

The man noded.. "I already said that we are running short on time. Taxi will take you to an airport and you will fly to Hokaido, thats where your expedition begins... You will firstly travel around Japan and then straight to Northern America"

Saoris heart nearly stopped. Of course they will start working right away! Thats why they had to take all necessary things with them on the interwiev... Hesitantly, she followed after the others, wondering if this is really what she wants... But the thought about traveling alone made her feel butterflies in her stomach... She wont back away, not now. She will just have a nice adventure. Hopefully the others wont cause trouble..

They packed their things into cargo space of the taxi. Sumire sat in front with the driver while the three sat in back, Saori finding herself squished between Tamaki and Akane.. She tried to stay calm, but it was hard since the two were having a playful banter between each other, poking each other and with each poke squishing her more... She felt a vein pop up on her forehead as she pushed them both more to the windows..

"Thats enough! Cut it off already!", she scolded, crossing her arms over her chest.

Akane huffed, looking like a kicked puppy as she looked out the window with a pout at their fun being interupted while Harukas attitude didnt change a bit, she just laughed and slumbered back into her seat with a grin, deciding to provoke Sumire this time..

Saori sat there, between it all and let out a sigh... This surely will be an interesting experience...
