Green light gradually filled the small room.

The Sword of Time in Julima's hand emitted brilliant rays of light, as if bending every beat of the world.

Jack Sindium clearly felt his body gradually lighten, as if his soul was separated from his flesh.

Before his eyes, each scene flashed by — friends, family, mistakes, losses... Everything was rolled back like a film reel on reverse.

The last green light exploded.

Before Jack Sindium was rewound, he was 30 years old in 2037.

Jack opened his eyes wide.

He gasped, his heart pounding. The room around him was filled with early morning sunlight. The familiar walls, the small study table, the thin cartoon blanket... everything was still intact like a distant memory.

A knock sounded on the door.

"Jack! Get up and go to school!"

His father's voice echoed from outside.

Jack sat up. A strange feeling crept into his mind.

He reached for the old phone on the table — the screen clearly showed the date: 2021.

His hand was shaking.

14 years old.

He had really returned to 2021.

Jack sat there in a daze for a few seconds, then quickly changed his clothes, put on his backpack, and ran downstairs.

Kachi patted Jack's shoulder and laughed loudly: "I thought you were sleeping in again!"

Mizu chuckled, her blue eyes shining with mischief.

Jack stood there, the most sincere smile in a long time appearing on his lips.

Julima was quietly taking action.

Inside a dim space, that god raised his hand, creating a ball of dark energy.

Inside the ball, red lines writhed like small snakes, exuding a deadly aura.

Julima smiled, a twisted smile full of malice.

"I helped you... only out of pity for you, Jack Sindium."

"The plan to return to the past earlier... only to have more time to destroy humanity."

The light around the energy ball shook violently.

Julima waved her hand.

The ball was like a burning black star, flying down to the ground — exactly where Jack was living.

The Zombie pandemic began.

The first creatures to be infected — birds, stray dogs... then gradually, gradually... spread to humans.

In the schoolyard, Jack, Kachi, and Mizu noticed unusual signs.

Some of their classmates suddenly collapsed.

Some of their limbs twitched, their mouths growling.

Jack, Mizu, and Kachi panicked and tried to retreat.

While fleeing, Kami — Mizu's best friend — accidentally got bitten by a zombie while protecting her friend.

That memory was like a knife stabbing deep into Jack's heart.
