Chapter 1:

BLACKHEART: RETURN TO DOMACIO

Blackheart

EXT. DESERT HIGHWAY – DAY

The road stretches endlessly into the horizon. On either side — dry earth, silent mountains, and wind-blasted signs. A lone biker rides through the dust. His name is NATHAN BLACKHEART — tall, broad-shouldered, long hair like Ragnar Lothbrok, leather jacket weathered by war and wind.

The rumble of his chopper echoes like a dying god.

CLOSE ON – A SIGN BY THE ROAD

WELCOME TO YOUR PARADISE TOWN: DOMACIO
“Be aware of good people. They’ll make you stay here forever...”

Nathan rides past, not even blinking.

RADIO CRACKLE (V.O.)

UNCLE SAM (FILTERED)
(static)...Nathan? You make it through the outer ring?

NATHAN
Yeah. Barely. Signal’s dying, though.

UNCLE SAM (FILTERED)
You’ll need to repair the old tower... if you want comms inside Domacio. Just get to—
(static, cutting out)...be—khrrrr—safe—khrrrr...

NATHAN
Sam? …Shit.

He pockets the radio. The engine growls louder. The road narrows.

EXT. WILDERNESS – LATER

A DEER stands by the roadside, cautious. Nathan’s chopper roars by — the deer bolts into the woods. Camera follows Nathan as he rides deeper into overgrown ruin, the trees thicker, the air heavier.

EXT. DESOLATE BAR – SUNSET

An old bar stands alone, vines crawling up the walls. Sign flickering. Nathan stops his bike at a distance, eyeing it with suspicion.

He kills the engine. Silence returns. A breeze rustles the trees. He pockets his keys and walks toward the bar.

INT. BAR – MOMENTS LATER

Dim lights. Dust particles float in the air. A BARMAID wipes a counter, her back to him. Everything feels... off. But Nathan walks in like a man used to ghosts.

NATHAN
You know where the old control tower is?

She doesn’t turn. Instead, she starts speaking slowly.

BARMAID
You’re not from around here, are you?

NATHAN
Not really. I was born here. But that was a long time ago.

BARMAID
How long?

NATHAN
Thirteen years.
Still looks the same...
I used to live by the river. Me and my old man — fishing every weekend.

BARMAID
So why come back?

NATHAN (pauses, eyes darken)
Left something unfinished.

He pours himself a vodka shot.

FLASHBACK – INT. HOUSE – NIGHT (2003)

Blood. Screams on the radio. Nathan and his UNCLE burst into the family home. His FATHER and MOTHER lie dead. His SISTER lies in a corner — eyes open, frozen, unresponsive. Nathan screams.

BACK TO BAR – PRESENT

The barmaid watches him quietly. Then leans in, voice soft like venom.

BARMAID
You shouldn’t wander where you don’t belong.

NATHAN
I know this place better than you do.

She leans closer — almost a kiss... then—

BOOM!

A SHOTGUN roars. HER HEAD EXPLODES — revealing fungal growth, glowing green like infected moss.

Camera WHIPS around. The bar changes — walls dripping spores, vines creeping, eyes watching from shadows. TWO MORE ZOMBIES burst through a side door.

GUNSHOTS. SCREAMS. SPLATTERS.

Camera pulls out of the bar as chaos erupts inside. Blood sprays the windows. Furniture shatters. Screeches echo.

EXT. BAR – MOMENTS LATER

The door creaks open. Nathan walks out, blood-soaked, breathing hard. He shakes the blood off like a dog shrugging off rain. Flicks a chunk of gore from his jacket.

He mounts the bike again. Engines flare.

WIDE SHOT – CAMERA PANS UP AND OUT

We see the full town of DOMACIO ahead — a jungle of skyscrapers fused with trees, infested, alive, glowing.

Nathan rides toward it. Alone.
