Chapter 1:
My Cute Raven: I Really Really Want To Devour You!
‘Remember our promise?’
Estra held onto him tightly with her forehead pressed firmly against his own. Her eyes welled with cold droplets that fell onto his face, flowing down all around his smooth tender pink lips.
His body was halfway submerged under a shallow water, drenched within its crystal clear surface illuminated by the vibrant blue moonlight above.
Estra was a demonic woman, horned and ferocious clad in full black demonic war gear of skin tight plate armor. He on the other hand was a frail man with smooth alluring emerald jeweled eyes and clothes of tattered brown robes.

‘That we’ll grow old together.’
In the black void of darkness a faint glimmer of white light burst out in a flurry of silver strings. It pulled forth an arm twitching with abnormal mechanical movements.
“Prove to them that things can be different and curse every fibre of their being that it doesn’t have to be this way.”
*Foosh*
Stage lights lit up flooding the darkness with a torrent of blinding radiance. A man sat slumped down in his seat dressed in a black gothic gown of fine silk and patterned fabric. The silver strings reflected against the light giving the appearance of flowing energy that coarse out from his back.
Estra walked into the light sitting down in front of the man.
*Tsssh*
She pulled the drawer of an elaborate golden compartment that contained various assortment of makeup mixed in with archaic instruments such as crystals and fine set of scalpels.
“Stay still Lim.”
Estra carefully applied makeup on his face painting his lifeless doll-like figure like paint on canvas.
***
“My name is Lim! Grovel beneath me peasant!”
“Hahaha That's so funny you're so terrible at acting!”
‘Why! Why! Why! Why didn't you wait for me! You moron! Buffoon!’
***
“Hold on it's nearly done”
Estra opened Lim’s empty eye lids as she slowly inserted an emerald craved eye in its place.
“Done!”
The doll-like Lim stood up with the strings pulling him into place. Estra held out her hand towards him with longing deep tender golden eyes.
“Shall we continue our dance? Lim?”
***
“Haaaaahhh!!”
Lim violently woke up gasping for air with a euphoric sensation that filled his lungs as if he was a newborn breathing air for the first time.
“LIM! LIM!”
Estra desperately shook his shoulders with a face of enduring ecstasy; a deep compassion that overflowed. She hugged him tightly.
“Ow! Okay! Okay! I get it!... wait… Estra? Is that you?”
“Yes, it's me! It really is me! That's right!”
***
The pair sat quietly in front of the small campfire wearing nothing more than their undergarments while their wet clothes hung close by slowly drying. A silence filled the air as they awkwardly avoided each other's gaze with faces that were bright pink from embarrassment.
The firewood crackled sissling the chunks of meat that held from a stick.
“Estra, is this really necessary?”
“Definat–”
“Pervert! Creep! Pervert!”
“You said pervert twice….”
“Hmphh!”
Estra burst into sudden laughter.
“Ahahaha….”
“What?”
“No I’m sorry I just… really missed this….”
“Huh? And where the hell am I? Wait that weird I don’t remember–”
“You fell. You should be thanking me or god or lady luck that I was in the area. I prefer you thank me though.”
“Ah… thanks I guess.”
Estra grabbed one of the meat sticks to her side making sure not to look directly at Lim. Yet, she couldn’t resist sneaking a glance at his face. He was a timid man with a fine delicate feminine beauty of silky smooth lightly tanned skin. His short hair was like fluffy raven wings of deep black purple with eyes of calm soothing emerald. She could have easily mistaken him for being a girl.
It felt wrong to see his body as exposed but a part of her did not care. A small guilty smile rendered across her face.
An inner bubbly feeling spoke to her. ‘He is all mine!’
Lim bit onto the piece of meat nibbling off small chunks at a time while he too sneaked a glance at Estra while she looked away. He saw a gorgeous angel with long straight black hair with flat bangs and horns of blankend bones that stuck out. Her face was pale as snow with menacing yellow eyes that glowed as bright as the dazzling fire in front of her. A sharp yet alluring intensity.
He hadn’t seen her since they were little and in those faint moments life just seemed simpler. Estra was always the same; she had always protected him, portraying an aura of strength but he had always known a different part of her. Soft, cute, innocent and above all caring.
Lim smiled with a face of relief but before he could turn away they both accidentally locked eyes.
“Eeeeeehh? Liking what you see?”
“Oh… N… No one would like that derpy face and those long ears. You are a horny elf!”
“Hey, that's not fair! You got simil… oh no I forgot I didn't mean—”
Lim brushed his hand through his hair to feel his ear. He had a slight blush and a pensive look of shame.
“No it's really alright… It's not a big deal. It really isn't.”
“Are you still concerned about the ‘Half’ thing again?”
“I… don’t hate it… but you know….”
“I understand… hmmm let me think.”
Estra jumped up with arms raised up high. She bared out her fangs with claws that extended outwards. Harsh shadows extended outwards from her absurdly long hair casting a cape of tentacles.
“If it makes you feel any better… witness me pathetic human, a terrible demon out to destroy humanity. Bwhahaha! Ha… ha… ha—”
In her attempt to act menacingly to cheer Lim’s spirits she forgot that she had barely anything on. Flustered, she retreated back into her shell.
“Or… so people say….”
“I don’t think you’re terrible.”
Estra reluctantly grinned with a face that never could amount to a proper smile. A deep feeling lingered within her.
She whispered to herself.
‘I know you buffoon. I know.’
She grabbed her portion of food as they both sat there silently eating and staring into the endless fiery void of the campfire.
“...”
“...”
“...”
“...”
Lim who was unable to withstand the air of silence any longer stood up as he went for his clothes. He bundled them up in his arms while profusely bowing towards Estra.
“Thank you for everything but I feel like there's something that I should be doing. I can’t intrude on you any more… I’m sure it's all dry and—”
Estra stopped Lim from leaving as she held his arm tightly, never once looking at him.
“Don’t lie. It’s still wet. Stay.”
“I can’t…”
“Why?”
“WHAT IS HAPPENING ESTRA! I WAKE UP AND YOUR BACK IN MY LIFE AFTER LEAVING ME! SOMETHING FEELS WRONG… TELL ME!... I KNOW THERE'S SOMETHING THAT YOU ARE NOT SAYING!”
Estra looked down with empty eyes as she prepared herself. She spoke softly and bluntly.
“Lim. You died.”
