Chapter 4: Dhruva's Guidance

Scene opens: Chintalaplli village.Kmk's house. Perched on a weathered chair atop the flat roof, Kmk was lost in thought. The vivid memory of the illusion clung to him, a bittersweet ache in his chest. It was just an illusion... but it felt so real. So beautiful. He sighed, the gentle breeze rustling the palm leaves overhead.

Flashback:At Bhargava's house. The air still crackled with the remnants of their earlier conversation about the illusion.Bhargava: Bro, don't dwell on it like that. It was just an illusion, so forget about it!Kmk: (Voice tight with emotion) Do you really think I can forget about that? Just tell me, Bhargava, what did that man have that I didn't? I, despite having everything – powers, saving the world, winning battles – still, why am I losing my life's battle?

Bhargava: (Softly) Bro, Kmk... sorry for saying this, but maybe that's just fate. That guy is her relative, and she might have known him since childhood. You only saw her two years ago at a wedding, and then again when you came to our house, and you didn't even talk to her! They might have loved each other from the beginning, and you...

Kmk: (Cutting him off, a flash of pain in his eyes) What? The one who is coming between them? As a villain or something? Don't you think calling me that is... isn't right when I am the victim of fate?!

Bhargava: (Quickly) I never said you were a villain, Kmk! You were never a villain, can't be a villain.

Flashback ended.

Kmk: (To himself, his voice a low murmur) Is this how it has to be? Is this fate, and I have to accept it without fighting? This is injustice! All of a sudden, the North Pole Star in the night sky pulsed with a renewed brilliance. A beam of divine light descended upon Kmk, enveloping him in its warm embrace. In the blink of an eye, the familiar rooftop vanished, and he was once again standing in the ethereal realm of Dhruva.

Before him sat Dhruva, radiating a serene power from his celestial throne.Dhruva: Kmk, it looks like you are in trouble. What is it?

Kmk: (Frustration lacing his tone) Come on, you really don't know about it? You know everything, can't you tell me why, Dhruva?! Why?

Kmk walked slowly towards the steps of the throne and sank onto them, his head bowed. Dhruva rose gracefully and sat beside him, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder.

Dhruva: Look, Kmk, I can understand you. I went through something similar when I couldn't receive my father's love. But your friend Bhargava was right; it was never your fate to be with her. When you were born, I shone in the sky to make the world know that a divine warrior had arrived to fight against the Kali Yuga.

And that is your fate. Look.Dhruva gestured, and two shimmering lines of energy materialized before them.

They approached each other closely, almost touching, before drifting apart again, never truly colliding.Dhruva: Look. One is yours, and the other is Lakshmi's. They barely came closer because... look at this.

Then, Lakshmi's line of energy faltered, stopping abruptly as it intersected with another, fainter line. Kmk's line, however, continued its forward trajectory with unwavering speed.

Dhruva: Do you understand now? Her fate stopped right there, Kmk! But yours has not, because you have more to achieve. You will become the leader of the divine warriors one day and lead them against the forces of adharma. This is your destiny, your fate. Look, Kmk, the Mānava janma (human life) is the greatest gift for a soul to have. After many reincarnations, the soul achieves this human life. But what are humans doing with it? Not all, but some can't even understand what this life is for! Every human is born into this world to achieve something great. It can be a small thing or a big and great thing! Small things like making your parents happy or making your family proud of you by making your dreams come true in a dharmic (just) way, not an adharmic (unjust) way! Or achieve something big, not only for you but for everyone around the world, just like you are doing – fighting the Asuras and saving the world. But ultimately, every human's goal has to be to achieve Moksha, liberation from the cycle of birth, death, and rebirth, by knowing dharma! (the just way). But humans in Kali Yuga fall for it, fall under the influence of Kali Yuga and adharma, and they also spread adharma by not knowing what they are doing, how they are destroying themselves under those Asuras' influence. Humans can achieve many things, as they achieved before, but they themselves are destroying everything by the Asuras' influence, by normalizing sins and bad karma. And that same bad karma is used by those Asuras, so humans are knowingly or unknowingly giving energy to their enemies who seek to conquer, destroy, and rule them.

So, Kmk! Lakshmi can be used by those Asuras as your weakness. If Lakshmi is your weakness, then leave that weakness behind and achieve what your fate and destiny is showing you! Achieve what you have to achieve! The camera focused on Kmk's face. He had listened intently to Dhruva's words, his expression unreadable. Then, a profound chanting began in background

Chanting :

oṃ namaste astu bhagavan viśrveśrvarāya mahādevāya tryambakāya tripurāntakāyatri kāgnikālāya kālāgni rudrāya nīlakaṇṭhāya mṛtyuṃjayāya sarveśrvarāya sadāśivāya śrīman mahādevāya namaḥ
