Chapter 4: Shinjaku and the Secret of the World.

In the moment of life and death, when death was near, a voice echoed in Jack's soul:

"This is not the time for you to go."

The dark space in Jack's mind suddenly brightened. In front of him, a man appeared — golden hair like light, a handsome, attractive face, slightly long hair that did not reach his shoulders, only reaching his cheeks, and an extremely mythical way of dressing. The man's appearance exuded an aura of a supreme god, making Jack unable to take his eyes off.

"You will not die here." – the man said.

At that moment, he reached out his hand towards Jack, and a strange stream of energy transmitted from that hand penetrated Jack's body. A powerful magic was cast, awakening a latent power that Jack himself did not know he possessed. Jack felt a surge of power spread through his body, as if something was changing inside him.

He was confused.

"Why is there someone in my mind?"

But before Jack could ask, the man disappeared—dissolving into the light in Jack's soul.

Suddenly, Jack opened his eyes, returning to reality. The wound from the zombie's bite was still there, but Jack's body was now enveloped in some kind of energy—a newly awakened power.

Ahead, Jack saw Mizu and Kachi surrounded by bloodthirsty zombies. Although both of them tried to resist, the situation was getting more and more desperate. Jack gritted his teeth and was about to rush forward when…

THE LIGHT COMES DOWN AGAIN.

The man in Jack's soul appeared once more, this time right in the middle of the battlefield, like a lamp breaking through the darkness. The zombies were sent flying by the light, unable to resist the overwhelming presence. The three of them — Jack, Mizu, and Kachi — were saved from a life-threatening situation.

The three looked at the man in amazement.

He smiled, this time in person, and introduced himself:

"I am Shinjaku – the God of Light."

"You may not know who I am, Jack Sindium. But I have come to save you."

"You are the last hope… of this world."

The atmosphere became quiet. Jack's eyes widened, Mizu held her breath, and Kachi swallowed.

Shinjaku looked up at the sky, his gaze solemn:

"Now I will tell you why the world fell into this zombie apocalypse."

"There was a Super-Organized God who created mankind. But after observing for a while, he was disappointed to see that mankind was increasingly degenerate, becoming more evil and dark."

“Contrary to his original expectations, humanity did not evolve towards the light but instead sank into darkness. In the end, that god discussed with the other gods he created… that humanity needed to be destroyed.”

Jack was silent. Kachi frowned. Mizu trembled slightly.

“All the gods agreed.”

“But I do not want humanity to be completely wiped out.” – Shinjaku said, his voice slow, as if carrying a thousand years of regret. “I betrayed the gods. I fled, desperately searching for a small ray of hope…”

“…and finally, I found you, Jack.”

“You will be very important in this war.”

The three of them were still not recovered, when Shinjaku continued, his voice filled with determination:

“Do you want to live?”

“Do you want to save everyone?”

“If that is the case… follow me.”

“I will teach you magic. So that you can fight against this disaster, so that you can fight in the coming war—"

"THE GREAT WAR BETWEEN MAN AND GOD!"

Those words echoed like thunder in the clear sky. The three of them looked at each other in silence.

Jack clenched his fists.

Mizu nodded, her eyes determined.

Kachi curled her lips slightly:

"Then what are we waiting for... teach us."
