Lavand

It was Saturday, 6 AM

Lucien had been farming nonstop without sleep. After killing a few more slimes and frogs, he opened the map, clicked Grehan, then clicked the kingdom to find the place to sell monster remains. As he was finding, suddenly he heard a biak sound in the background.

“NO!” he shouted in shock as he quickly closed the map and saw his character stuck inside a giant slime.

“NOOOOOOO!” he yelled, spamming the attack button as fast as he could, but all his character did was twitching very fast.

He opened the map while lying in the hospital bed, continuing to look for the place to sell the remains, and realized, “Oh! It’s just downstairs?!” he said as he saw the selling spot was on the first floor of the hospital.

He quickly went down, sold the remains, and earned 2k coins. Walked out of the hospital, he opened the map again to find a weapon store, he found one of the weapon stores was just right beside the hospital. He went there, it was a small store, with all the weapons looking the same but in different colors.

He spotted a cool slime shield but realized it couldn’t be bought with coins, only can be crafted with slime remains.

“I shouldn’t have sold all of it…” he muttered.

‘Wait, can I refund?’ he thought, running back to the hospital. Luckily, he found out he could buy back the remains “Ohh! Nice!”

He got some of the slime remains back, returned to the store, crafted the slime shield, and also bought full body silver armor and 500 arrows.

Total spent: 1k coins.

Suddenly, a message popped up at the orb icon. He opened it, it was a trade request from Rainy. He accepted. She put in 5 healing potions and he put in the pink plushie.

Rainy DM’d him “U can keep the plushie.”

“Ok, I don’t need to put anything?” he replied.

“Ya”

He got his 5 healing potions back, then messaged her, “Wait, I just got an idea. If I keep creating new accounts, can’t I keep giving myself healing potions? Wouldn’t I have unlimited potions this way?!”

“Ya u can, but you’ll get banned for a month and all your potions will get deleted if the admin catch u…”

“Ohh… but what if they couldn’t catch me?”

“They’ll get a notification when a player gets 100 healing potions, theyll check how u got it, also, account below 100 hour can only trade 5 healing potions.”

“Ohh… that’s why u only asked for 5?”

“Ya”

“What are u doing right now?” He typed.

“Gliding at the sky”

He looked up and saw her gliding across the twilight sky. He laughed in real life and replied, “Ohh! I saw you hahaha” Under her skirt, rainy wore cute black ruffle shorts, black long socks, and black Lolita shoes.

He parkoured across the rooftops, following her, and just as she was about to land, he ran to the spot and let her land right on his head.

“Nice catch,” she typed in public.

He ran around with her standing perfectly still on his head.

“Hahahaha,” he typed in public, laughing in real life too.

“Hahaha,” she typed, as her character is doing a clapping emote.

“R u going back to that graveyard place to farm again?” he typed.

“No, I’ve got enough of what I wanted from there, now I just need to farm a few hundred more Red Dragon Hearts in Lavand,” she replied.

“Ohh, what flying mount r u farming for?”

“Zombie Dragon,” she typed. Then she jumped down from his head and summoned her shadow horse.

“Can I come along?” he typed.

“Sure,” she replied, inviting him to ride on her horse, and they left the kingdom together once more.

As they were traveling, the area they were in was very dangerous, many cheetah monsters tried to attack them. Rainy summoned her shadow bats to attack all the cheetah monsters.

“Wuaaa, your staff is so convenient,” he typed, then shot some arrows at the cheetahs without missing once.

Watching him not missing once, she typed “Wow, ur aim’s so good,”

“Yeah, because I’m a pro in Ubershoot,” he replied.

“Really? How pro?”

“So pro that one time I got into a match with an esports player and I rekt him so hard he thought I was hacking lolol.”

“Hahaha, seriously!?”

“Yeah! When I graduate, I’m gonna become an esports player and let those false goat esports players know who the real GOAT”

“Hahahaha, I’ll root for u!”

“Thx!!”

“How old are u right now?” she typed.

“13, What about u?” he replied.

“Same”

They arrived at a place with many boats docked. She dispelled her horse and spoke to the NPC.

“Buy a ticket from this NPC,” Rainy typed, then got on one of the boats with many players.

“Ok,” He replied, talking to the NPC too. It asked him to pay 10 coins for a ticket to Lavand. He paid and went to the boat Rainy was on. 

After waiting for a few second, the boat set sail.

After some time, they arrived at Lavand. The land was cracked with lava, and many trees had fiery tops instead of leaves, their trunks glowing with lava cracks like the ground. There were many monsters, massive lava golems, phoenixes, red giant slimes and, in the distance, an enormous volcano. All over its surface were giant sleeping women’s faces fused into the volcano.

“Is that volcano alive!?” he typed.

“Ya, she’s the boss of this land,” she replied, then summoned her horse.

“Wow…” he typed and sat behind her on the horse.

They passed by the kingdom in Lavand. It seemed like a busy place, with many players here. Unlike the building in Luxunah Kingdom, the buildings here had a dark, eerie vibe, resembling a demon lord’s domain. The structures were black, and there were no towering walls surrounding the kingdom. Lucien opened the map to see what this kingdom name was, it was named Lavanah Kingdom.

“When I die, I respawn here?” he typed.

“Ya”

Soon they arrived at a location swarming with red dragons. The area was crowded with players and was also pretty close to the volcano boss. Rainy immediately summoned her shadow bats to help attack the red dragons. She kept spamming fireballs while riding her horse, dodging the dragons’ fire breath. Lucien helping by shooting arrows as well.

They had been farming the dragons for a long while when suddenly the whole land shook with an earthquake. Loud, terrifying screams echoed across the sky. A HP with two bar appeared at the top of the screen, named Faces Volcano. Lucien looked at the volcano, they had awakened.

The Faces Volcano kept screaming, then from its top crater, it shot a massive rock fireball high into the sky. As the rock about to fell, the rock exploded, scattering flaming pieces of rocks in every direction. Rainy quickly rode away immediately, but it seemed the blast couldn’t be outrun. Lucien quickly equipped his slime shield, helping Rainy block the damage. She kept going and soon stopped at a safe distance, far from the volcano.

“thx for shielding me just now,” she typed.

“np, what now?” he replied.

She looked around, noticing many players heading toward the volcano, some flying on their mounts. “It looks like a lot of people are here to fight it, most of them seem like pros too,  this might be my chance to beat it, so I’m going to join the fight,” she typed.

“Ok! Then I’ll fight too!” He replied.

“Ok! Let’s go!” She typed, then she rode the horse toward the faces volcano.

All the faces on the volcano opened their mouths wide, and a swarm of monsters flew out. Suddenly, a tall golden slash of light streaked past them, cutting down all the monsters in its path and striking the Faces Volcano. Lucien was startled by the powerful attack and looked around to see who had unleashed it, at a distance, he saw a woman clad in completely cool golden armor, wielding a massive golden sword. She ran incredibly fast, even faster than Rainy’s shadow horse, and quickly passed them. As she dashed ahead, she unleashed another golden slash, killing more monsters and striking the volcano again. Lucien’s eyes sparkled as he watched that pro player play.

Rainy charged up an explosive fireball and shot it at the Faces Volcano, dealing pretty high damage to it. Lucien, sitting at the back, kept firing his arrows nonstop at the volcano too. Suddenly, all the faces on the volcano lit up their eyes. Seeing that, Rainy quickly retreated. Then, Rainy spotted a female player dressed in a beautiful white gown, wielding an elegant white staff. She unleashed a massive yellow magic barrier, covering many players, others from outside could easily enter as well. Rainy quickly rode into the barrier, and many other players also ran or flew inside too. That same female player then cast a wide healing spell, restoring everyone’s HP inside the barrier. Moments later, the Faces Volcano fired extremely hot heat rays from its eyes, each faces shooting in a different direction. The rays caused massive explosions when they hit the ground, except for the ones that hit the magic barrier.

“Wow…Is that staff a rare auction weapon too?” Lucien typed.

“Ya” rainy replied.

After a while, the Faces Volcano finally stopped shooting heat rays. The female player dispelled the barrier, and everyone rushed toward the volcano to attack. The volcano opened its mouth wide once more, and many monsters flew out. Rainy released her shadow bats and wolves, while many pro players cast powerful spells, kept dealing massive damage to the volcano. Meanwhile Lucien continuously shot arrows at the flying monsters, hitting every shot without missing a single one.

Suddenly, the volcano screamed again, causing the ground to quake. Rainy quickly retreated, but this time, instead of shooting massive rock fireballs, the volcano spewed a flood of lava from its crater.

Lucien quickly shielded both himself and Rainy from the lava rain, but they still took damage nonstop. As their HP dropped lower and lower, Lucien quickly equipped his healing potion and tried using it on Rainy without knowing would it work or not, but it did! However, Lucien died alone in the process.

Lucien respawned in the Lavanah Kingdom hospital. “Well… that’s it for me,” he sighed.

A message popped on the orb icon. He opened it to see a DM from Rainy “WAIT FOR ME OUTSIDE THE HOSPITAL, I’M COMING!!!”

“OK!” Lucien happily replied. He quickly ran outside, but since it was his first time in this hospital, so he got a little bit lost. But he eventually made it out.

A few second later, Rainy arrived to get Lucien. The two of them set off together to fight the Faces Volcano once again.

When they got back there, Rainy immediately charged up her explosions and fired them at the volcano. Then she summoned her bats and wolves, and Lucien kept shooting arrows. The Faces Volcano’s eyes lit up again and its mouths also opened wide, everyone quickly retreated. The white gown player opened her magic barrier, and everyone quickly rushed in.

But this time, more than one face fired heat rays at the barrier, cracking it, while at the same time releasing monsters from its mouths. Many pro players quickly used their support weapons to enchant the barrier. All the monsters swarmed to attack the barrier, but got attacked by all the pro players inside the barrier. Even with all the enchantments, the barrier still cracked even more as the heat rays kept blasting it. A lot of pro players quickly equipped their cool shields and went to the front, some even standing on top of other players. Lucien also equipped his slime shield, got off the horse, and stood on a player’s head, everyone stacking together into big layered shield.

As the magic barrier was about to break, the white gown player and many other pros activated their healing spells. The barrier shattered. The heat rays blasted into all the shields, dealing massive damage to them, but they healed back up instantly thanks to the huge number of healing spells activated right now. Monsters tried to interfere but were killed off by Rainy and other players at the back.

Finally, the heat rays stopped. Everyone rushed forward to attack. The pro players launched their strongest spells at it. The Faces Volcano screamed again, shaking the ground with earthquakes, and spewed lava again, but this time, everyone ignored it and kept pushing forward because the boss’s HP was very low now. Everyone fired whatever they could, hitting the volcano even as they were all getting burned.

Finally, the Faces Volcano fell back to sleep.

In the end, no one at that place survived, but they all won.

Everyone respawned in the hospital, celebrating, jumping around, some clapping, others doing dance emotes.

Lucien earned the Faces Volcano remains, a small Faces Volcano and a bunch of other monster remains.

“Did u get the remains?” Rainy DM’d Lucien.

“Yeah!!” Lucien replied “So this is how it feels like to be carried.”

“Does it feel good?” Rainy typed.

“HELL YEAH!!!!” He replied.

“Hahaha”

In the background, a lot of random players typed:

“GOOD JOB EVERYONE! THAT WAS THE BEST TEAMWORK EVER!”

“Yeah, never had this much teamwork in my whole life, hahaha!”

“GOOD JOB, EVERYBODY!!”

“SHIN IS GAY!!!”

“NO I’M NOT!!”

“Rainy” Lucien DM’d her.

“Ya?”

“Do u have thiscord?

“Ya”

“Can I add u?”

“Sure” rainy replied and sent him her ID

Lucien added her. Her name on Thiscord was Athirah, and her profile picture showed only her naturally striking, beautiful eyes with wispy bangs. Lucien’s name on Thiscord was simply Lucien, and his profile picture was a manga character with messy black hair and sharp, striking eyes.

“R u rainy? Im slayer” Lucien message her.

“Ya” she replied.

“ok”

“R those ur eyes in ur profile picture?”Lucien typed.

“Ya”

“Ur eyes is so attractive…”

“I know, I get that a lot”

“There must be a lot of boys who have a crush on u.”

“Yaa, my friends did tell me there are a lot of boys who like me.”

“I’m so jealous of you… I want to be loved by a lot of people too, but most of the girls at my school prefer cool bad boys. Since I’m a gamer, I’m part of the nerd group nobody cares about…” he typed. “At this rate, I might be single forever hahaha”

“Hahaha, I don’t think so”

“Why?”

“Because u have me. A friend 😎”

“Thx 🥹”

“Let’s continue farming? ” she typed.

“Ok!” he replied.

Suddenly, Lucien heard the door behind him open. He looked back and saw his mom peek her head in. “We’re going out to eat, get ready,” she said.

“Ohh, ok.”

Then his mom left.

“Sorry I’m gonna go out to eat now,” Lucien messaged her.

“Okk, byee”
