EXT. STELLAR ACADEMY – MORNING
WIDE SHOT: The sun rises over the imposing Stellar Academy, floating among the clouds. Shimmering towers rise up, surrounded by suspended gardens. The Academy floats thousands of meters above the ground, with suspended bridges connecting the buildings.
SOUND EFFECTS: Gentle breeze, distant birds, celestial music

INT. KAEL’S ROOM – MORNING
MEDIUM SHOT: Kael, 17, with ebony hair and deep blue eyes, sleeps peacefully in a modest yet tidy room. The clock reads 7:45 AM.
The camera zooms in on the clock’s alarm, which starts ringing.
SFX: Loud beeping from the alarm clock.

KAEL (panicking): “Shit! I’m late!”
Kael jumps out of bed, hurriedly puts on his navy-blue uniform with the Academy emblem, and runs out of the room.
SFX: Fabric rustling, hurried footsteps.

EXT. MASSIVE GATES OF THE ACADEMY – 8:05 AM
WIDE SHOT: Kael arrives running, panting, and stops in front of the massive gates of the Academy. A uniformed staff member stands there, smiling and welcoming.
STAFF MEMBER (smiling): “Welcome to Stellar Academy, Kael. No tardiness is tolerated on the first day. Consider this an exception.”
KAEL (out of breath, bowing): “Thank you. I’ll make sure this doesn’t happen again.”
SFX: Sound of the heavy door slowly opening.

INT. DORMITORY – 8:15 AM
INTERIOR SHOT: Kael enters a modest but comfortable dorm room. Two other students, Lira (17, curious, red hair) and Jorin (18, laid-back, short blonde hair), are waiting.
LIRA (curious): “Is this your first year, Kael?”
KAEL (timid smile): “Yeah, I’m from a small town. It’s... overwhelming.”
JORIN (amused): “Don’t worry, everyone feels a bit lost at first.”
SFX: Chairs scraping slightly, footsteps on the floor.

EXT. OUTDOOR ARENA – 10:00 AM
WIDE SHOT – ARENA: Students are gathered in a large outdoor arena surrounded by bleachers. Armored instructors watch the event. The head instructor, authoritative, speaks.
HEAD INSTRUCTOR (loud voice): “Welcome to your power evaluation. Each student will demonstrate their primary ability. Kael, you’re first.”
ACTION: THE EYE OF QUASAR
CLOSE-UP SHOT: Kael steps forward, heart racing. He closes his eyes and focuses. When he opens them, an iridescent glow fills his right eye. The Eye of Quasar is activated. An unstable energy aura surrounds him.
He tries to project an energy beam, but only a weak discharge escapes from his eye, dissipating before it reaches the target.
KAEL (thinking, frustrated): “Why isn’t it working like I expected?”
HEAD INSTRUCTOR (noting on a tablet): “Average. Beginner level. Thank you, Kael.”
SFX: Whispers from the students, the sound of the dissipating beam.

INT. DORMITORY – 12:00 PM
MEDIUM SHOT – DORM ROOM: Kael sits on his bed, looking dejected. Lira and Jorin enter, carrying lunch trays.
LIRA (gently): “Don’t let it get you down. A lot of people struggle at first. Look at Jorin, it took him three years to master his power.”
JORIN (laughing): “Hey, it was two and a half!”
KAEL (sighing): “I thought my power would be stronger. The Eye of Quasar... Why isn’t it working?”
LIRA (thinking): “Maybe you haven’t learned to control it yet. Did you receive any training before?”
KAEL (shaking his head): “No, it’s the first time I’ve activated it.”
JORIN (encouraging): “Then it’s normal. With practice, you’ll get it.”

EXT. BALCONY – 10:00 PM
CLOSE-UP SHOT – KAEL: Kael stands alone on a balcony, staring at the stars shimmering in the night sky.
KAEL (determined, thinking): “I’m not going to let this setback define me. I’ll master the Eye of Quasar and prove my worth.”
He closes his eyes and visualizes the cosmic energy flowing through him. A soft glow emanates from his right eye, more stable than before. A small smile appears on his face.
KAEL (smiling): “It’s a start.”

CAMERA: Slowly zooms out to reveal the size of the Academy and the vastness of the starry sky.
