Chapter 73:

Anchor - Desecration Arc

Engulfed in Darkness - Becoming a Villain in Another World

"She's like, my anchor. I think everybody has one. Like, if you lose them, no matter how well life is going, you will be lost forever," Hiroshi told Tomokazu, refering to Wisteria, as he got on his jacket. He was wearing formal attire, only because Kage told him too. He was wearing a clever black suits with a charcoal dickie bow to match. The cuffs of his trousers curled up at his ankles and he had very smart brown shoes on with thick laces.

"I get what you mean. I suppose you would be mine, or Bibi," Tomokazu responded, fixing his red tie on his own navy suit. "How do I look?"

"Stunning, darling," Hiroshi smirked, slapping Tomokazu's face lightly. It was six months after the battle between Kage and Schulz had ended, which meant Kage had now been training them for a whole year. That meant he had to hand off his students, and let them run while in the world out on their own, which none of them, not even Tomokazu, was happy about. The left the house together, and walked across the street to Wisteria's house.

"Alright, keep eye contact, Tomo," Hiroshi told his friend sternly.

"Huh? What do you mean?" Tomokazu asked, a bit confused at his friend's sudden remark.

"You don't think I notice where your eyes go?"

"I can't help it!"

"Well, it's rude. And if I noticed it, she has too."

"I...sorry Oshi," Tomokazu sighed, bowing his head low. "She's just really attractive and I haven't talked to a woman before, let alone been in a relationship. I'm still trying to figure out how to do things."

"Want a good piece of advice? Use common sense. If you think something is wrong, or feels morally wrong, it most certainly is most of the time. Trust me, it will get you far," Hiroshi said with a smile, knocking on the door of Wisteria's house. "And communication, Tomo. It's so important. Alright?"

Before Tomokazu could answer, the two women answered the door. Wisteria was wearing a very smart red dress. The sleek fabric rank all the way down to his ankles, with a vertical slit on either side of her hips. The red dress sparkled and flowed beautifully behind her. Bibi was wearing a blue dress, a very similar colour to Tomokazu's suit. Her dress went down to her knees, and had a white sash going from her left shoulder to her opposite hip. It was slightly more revealing than Wisteria's dress. Hiroshi prayed that Tomokazu took his advice.

"Don't you look lovely, Babe," Hiroshi smiled, taking his girlfriend's hand gently and kissing it. Wisteria held her face in her free hand and blushed.

"You certainly know how to make a woman feel special," she said softly. Hiroshi smiled, looking over at Tomokazu.

Come on Tomo!

Tomokazu made a very similar approach, taking Bibi's hand, and taking a knee as he kissed her hand. Bibi slowly gained a cute smile on her face, before shaking her head frantically.

"Oh, stop it, would you?" Bibi laughed, secretly enjoying Tomokazu's gentleman mentality. Hiroshi smirked. Although he still had a lot to learn, he was beginning to understand slowly how a relationship works and how they should treat one another.

"Did you not put on some make-up? You usually love putting some on, makes you look stunning," Tomokazu asked his girlfriend, to which Bibi replied swiftly.

"Well, if you are taking me at lightspeed there, it's going to get ruined."

"Fair enough. Can't argue with that logic. Are you ready to go now?" Tomokazu asked, picking up Bibi in a fireman's carry.

"Hey! What the heck are you doing!?"

"Tomo! When I said carry her romantically to the Tournament, I didn't mean like that!" Hiroshi said, frantically shaking his hands out.

"Oh, whoops," Tomokazu gasped, putting Bibi down, his face turning as red as a tomato. "Then how should I carry her?"

Hiroshi sighed. Tomokazu had a good heart, but he was so useless at showing emotions or doing kind acts. Hiroshi showed his best friend how to carry the lady like a gentleman, and then they were ready, Tomokazu took off into the air, carrying Bibi in a 'princess' carry (as she called it).

"How is your flying coming along, Babe?" Hiroshi asked, looking at Wisteria with a big smile on his face.

"Really well, Oshi! Watch me!" She exclaimed in excitement. For a few seconds, nothing happened. Then, her feet slowly levitated from the floor, a goofy grin appearing on her face. "See?!"

"I couldn't be more proud," Hiroshi responded in a happy tone. "Here, I'll fly with you. We can go slower, if you want, and Tomo...and he's gone already," Hiroshi sighed to himself. Tomo had already began his journey to the capital, which would take him less than a second. Hiroshi just prayed that he didn't drop Bibi.

Hiroshi stook beside Wisteria as they flew slowly to the capital. The tournament was starting in thirty minutes, but they had plenty of time. Wisteria hummed to herself, almost dancing as she flew.

"You are becoming soft, Hiroshi."

Hiroshi tried to keep his cool as Kuro-Yami picked up inside his mind. The God of Darkness had been very quiet since the battle six months ago, and Hiroshi was beginning to realise why.

"I'm not becoming soft," he hissed under his breath. "I'm just being nice, what's wrong with that?"

"Everything, Hiroshi. It's making you weak. I'm your friend, do you not trust me?" Kuro-Yami retorted.

"You are my friend, but so are they," Hiroshi responded, standing his ground. "Getting jealous, Kuro-Yami?"

"No...I just don't want to see you getting hurt, Hiroshi. You are my friend, and I care about you. I had emotions too, once. They destroyed me, I just don't want you to suffer the same fate."

Hiroshi chose not to respond to Kuro-Yami, but he understood where he was coming from. In all honesty, he was just as concerned as Kuro-Yami was. What would a fight be like now, where he actually cares about his friends and their feelings?

He was close to finding out...
