Interlude - Can I Play With Madness

My fist slams the monitor in front of me.

“You FOOLS! You were told to attack simultaneously. Why did these Chaosmongers disobey me?!”

“Maybe your plans were flawed?”

“YOU! Maybe YOU were the reason they disobeyed me!”

“I could not even be able to if I tried. I am your prisoner after all.”

“Oh, but you are still more than capable of interfering no matter your situation.”

“Yet I am still at your mercy.”

“And mercy is something I will not provide to you. Your time is nearing its end. It is only a matter of time.”

“Oh, I am sure my efforts to continue to resist you will eventually be futile.”

“As it should be. My power is undeniable. Although I have you to thank for my awakening and return.”

“With each passing moment I continue to regret my initial contact with you.”

“Ah, but you did and now my plans can begin anew.”

“I think you underestimate his ingenuity and persistence.”

I hear footsteps come my way and the large body appears as his tail moves slowly.

“Is everything alright, master? I thought I heard someone in here with you.”

“And speaking of generation how is Níðhöggr coming along after his collision with the Vitan’s transport pod?”

“He did take damage to his right wing and side. But his recovery is nearly complete.”

“So, he will have to wait for his moment as well. . I will need to take some time to prepare my next course of action especially where you and Níðhöggr are be concerned.”

“I will take my leave and continue to monitor the other chaosmongers’ progress.”
