Epilogue

If we are to believe the legends, even these days you can guess at nightfall the silhouette of the Fairy’s Hope. Far away, when you raise your eyes… from the discrete Vela Constellation, only the light of its sails reaches us. Once in a while mended by the Loireag, from the threads she weaves, made of the dust of celestial bodies.

     They continue to roam amongst the clusters of galaxies, navigating between the cosmic cliffs and the dark matter. Witnessing novas and stars’ births, avoiding black holes and meteor showers, they are looking for a world willing to welcome them. A place which could shelter new memories dear to their hearts.

     Waiting for that day to come, they feed on the delicacies the little fairy offers them. They seemingly have today a palate too sweet to appreciate any food exempt from sugar. Having become too bland.

     Though it prevents bitterness from corrupting souls. Especially of one of them, looking at the corner of each planet for a silhouette he hasn’t forgot anything about.

     The Bergfolks completing along the way the map of the stars – the one which harbours the precious pendant of the sorcerer – it is said that apart from that one the ship conceals the greatest treasure with all the maps and paintings representing the parts of the universe they have crossed together.

     These orphans who have lost as much as their world, from which nowadays the only remnants are clusters of stardust.
