Chapter 7 – “The Beast With My Face”
Arc II: Universe D-099X – The Dinoverse
---
The Air Twitched.
Not from heat, but from rejection. As if reality itself tried to spit the intruders out.
The jungle blinked.
And then folded.
In an instant, the multiverse machine vanished beneath a thick layer of twisted vines and moss, cloaked in silence and distortion. The jungle accepted it like a secret, burying it under camouflage more primal than any technology.
"Cloaking device stable," Mad Scientist Yuvraj muttered, sweat clinging to his brow. "96% camo saturation. Jungle won't snitch."
The original Yuvraj— now, by unspoken gravity—didn’t answer. He scanned the treeline, the grip of his blade holstered at his side, eyes unreadable.
"Let's find him," he said.
---
Far Beyond, Near the River of Stone Frogs
A ripple. Insects scattered. Birds fell silent.
A beast crouched by the water’s edge. Muscles like carved stone. Hair tangled like storm-torn vines. Eyes glowing like molten coals.
He was Yuvraj. But the world called him something else.
He sniffed.
The scent clawed at his brain.
Steel. Sorrow. Fire that never burned in this world.
"They reek of a future that should've died."
And then he was gone.
---
Collision
A crack.
A roar.
And then trees exploded.
The jungle variant of Yuvraj tore through the underbrush like a living cannonball. Mad Scientist tumbled back, a scream caught in his throat.
Main Yuvraj turned just in time.
The punch came like a meteor. He met it with his palm.
The impact bent the ground, birds fled for kilometers. But their hands stayed locked. Palm to palm. Soul to soul.
Eyes met.
Identical.
But wrong.
Too many timelines between them.
Too much pain.
Too much evolution.
"You piss me off already," the jungle brute snarled.
"Good," yuvraj said, calm like a blade sheathed in fire. "That makes two of us."
---
Tension, Snapped
They broke.
The wild one’s chest heaved. Main Yuvraj flexed his fingers.
Mad Scientist peeked from behind a fallen log, coughing. "Let’s not break each other on day one, alright? We’re on the same damn team. Probably."
---
The Walkie-Talkie Moment
Main Yuvraj pulled two compact frequency-link devices from his belt.
"Here," he said. Tossed one to yuvraj (Mad Scientist). Held the other out to the jungle version. "Tired of shouting across timelines."
The beast looked at it like it might bite.
"Metal bug?"
"Nah. Just a tool. Like you."
The wild one growled. But took it.
Main Yuvraj said nothing else.
He didn’t need to.
---
Code Protocol Initiated
Mad scientist clicked his device. "Alright, enough Yuvrajs. We need codenames or we’ll go insane."
He pointed to the jungle brute. "You. Darkeran."
The wild Yuvraj grunted. "...Works."
Mad scientist gestured to himself. "I guess I’m Red."
They turned to main Yuvraj.
Mad scientist smirked. "And you? Prime? OG? Godslayer?"
Yuvraj didn’t stop walking.
He just said: "Call me Blackstorm."
And the jungle listened.
---
Descent Into the Beast’s Hollow
They followed Darkeran through thick vines and ancient stone, the earth cracking beneath their boots. Vines parted. Roots coiled. A carved path revealed a hidden maw in the soil—a temple buried deep, its door made from the ribcage of some long-dead predator.
Above it, a massive fossilized skull. Half-swallowed by vines. Jaw frozen open, mid-scream.
Blackstorm stared at it. Something in it looked familiar.
Not the shape.
The rage.
The three Yuvrajs stepped into the underground lair
