0- Individual Core

Every individual soul is born with one.
A force which exists partly through the state.
It evolves under circumstances far beoynd human science.

They call it the Ability Core.

No one remembers who discovered it first. Some say it was a dying king whose last breath tore a mountain in half. Others whisper of a child born mute, whose tears could bend light. But whether by legend or law, one truth remains: every living being has one.

This however is not balanced, some are born with extreme lengths of power waiting to be out whereas some are born with very little and thus suffer from vicious diseases that rot the human body's physical appeareance.

Yet, despite all that, one thing was never understood:

Why do some Cores evolve... while others corrupt?

And what happens when a Core doesn't awaken at all—until death itself tries to claim it?

They called him a mistake.

But when his Core defied the grave, the world remembered his name.

This is the story of the override.
The death that didn't stick.
The power that wasn't meant to exist.
