Chapter 33:
A Prophecy Of Night And Sun
Nightfall remembered Sunset and tried to find her, even if the red water that mixed with his blood blinded him, he was able to find her. Nightfall dragged her onto the shore, panting heavily. He then stared off into the distance, then collapsed onto the ground, very exhausted.
Duskpaw, Dawnpaw, and Autumnpaw were walking by, and saw their parents on the ground. Dawnpaw screamed, Duskpaw was filled with rage, while Atutmnpaw was staring at her siblings, "DAWNPAW, DUSKPAW, HELP THEM-" she hissed, then bolted off to camp.
Dawnpaw was crying, Duskpaw was just frozen in place, just staring at his passed out father and mother... Duskpaw didn't know what to do. Autumnpaw came running back with Silverpelt, and he was shocked when he saw Nightfall and was a little bit more worried about him because of his wounds, while Sunset didn't have a scratch on herself. Silverpelt told Dawnpaw and Duskpaw to go back to camp to get Heatherfall.
Autumnpaw was sitting there, completely still.
Then moments later, Dawnpaw and Duskpaw came back with Heatherfall, Heatherfall stared at Nightfall, shocked, then started treating him quickly. Duskpaw was spiraling,
"What if they die?"
"What if it's my fault?"
"What if-"
Then his thoughts cleared as soon as he realized his uncle was sitting beside him. Silverpelt rested his tail on Duskpaw's shoulder, then reassured him everything would be fine. Duskpaw felt a little bit relieved after his uncle's comfort.
