Chapter 28:

Author’s Note – A Short Break Before We Continue the Eighth Realm Arc

Hey everyone!

Before anything else—thank you so much. Whether you’ve been here since the beginning or just joined recently, I seriously appreciate every read, like, and comment on The Chronicles of Zero. Your support is what drives me to keep building this world and pushing the story further.

I started working on this story back in mid-April, pouring hours into the characters, worldbuilding, and plot. But it wasn’t until May 8th that I officially started publishing chapters here on Honeyfeed—and since then, it’s been a non-stop ride.

With Chapter 17, we wrapped up the Ninth Realm Arc, covering Chapters 1 through 17. That arc was just the beginning—a dive into Zero’s past, the chaos surrounding him, and the awakening of something much bigger. I’ve loved every minute of crafting it.

Now we’ve entered the Eighth Realm Arc, which will span Chapters 18 to 30. With Chapters 18 and 19 already released, the new arc is already shifting the tone—more danger, more answers (and questions), and a new world of conflict and growth.

That said, before we move forward with Chapter 20, I’ve decided to take a short break—around one to two weeks—to rest, recharge, and enjoy a bit of summer. Writing back-to-back since April has been amazing, but I want to stay sharp and avoid burnout. I want each chapter to hit with the energy and quality it deserves, especially as we move deeper into the Eighth Realm.

So, while I take this little pause, feel free to re-read, drop theories, or even recommend the story to a friend. When I return, we’ll be diving headfirst into what may be the most intense arc yet.

Thanks again for sticking with me on this journey. Zero’s story is far from over—and I can’t wait to share what’s next.

Teaser for Chapter 20 – "Dragon's Realm":
"Beneath skies scorched by forgotten flames, Zero will step into a land where dragons rule—and only the worthy survive."

Enjoy your summer,
— Kenneth Arrington
