Chapter 1:

Chapter 1: The Evolution Powers,

Shinka no Hikari

For a thousand years, peace had draped the world in light, untainted by shadow. Nothing lasts forever.Cracks began to splinter the fabric of reality rifts, like veins of ink in a clear sky.

They pulsed with malice, gateways to a sealed prison the Doom Void, where the Abyssal Beasts, ancient horrors of nightmare and void, were entombed by the celestial Light Creatures eons ago.

From these rifts slithered Yami no Gensō Illusions of Darkness. Formless, writhing shadows with fanged maws and eyes like dying stars. Mindless, they knew only one truth: to devour.

To stand against this creeping corruption, the Hōrinden Hall of Divine Order was forged. A sacred order of warriors, mystics, and exorcists, they wielded a power born from the soul’s core: the Kishō, the Radiant Emblem.

A unique spark of light, it shaped weapons, shields, or forces molded by the user’s spirit. The stronger the soul, the brighter the flame. In the heart of Hōrinden’s towering citadel, among students who summoned blades of starfire and shields of dawn, one boy stood apart. Unseen.

Unremarkable. Gami Itsuhiko. No family. No past before age seven. No Kishō. Where others conjured radiant power, his soul was silent, a void where light should have burned. Whispers followed him pity from instructors, scorn from peers.

Yet the Headmaster, for reasons unspoken, allowed him to stay.Gami endured in silence, his eyes dull, as if searching for something he couldn’t name. Until that day.

A scream tore through the training grounds. Above the citadel, the sky fractured a jagged rift, raw and unnatural, spilling a flood of Yami no Gensō.

Shadows writhed, their forms shifting like smoke, claws glinting with cruel hunger. They descended in a tide, shrieking, rending stone and flesh alike.Chaos swallowed the Hōrinden.

Instructors, their Kishō blazing, fought desperately but were overwhelmed. Students fell, their radiant emblems flickering out like snuffed candles. The sacred grounds, once a bastion of order, became a graveyard of light.

Gami stood frozen, heart pounding, as a girl stumbled before him. Ayaka Shiranui, a prodigy whose flame-wreathed Kishō was legend among first-years. Now, blood streaked her face, her flames extinguished.

A towering Yami no Gensō loomed over her, its maw wide, ready to consume. Ayaka’s eyes shut, bracing for the end. Then “Ichi no Shinka.

First Evolution.A voice, calm as a still lake, cut through the chaos. Light erupted. A celestial blade, radiant and sharp as divinity itself, materialized in Gami’s hand. With a single, effortless swing, the monster’s head fell, severed clean.

Its body collapsed, dissolving into ash.Ayaka’s eyes snapped open, wide with disbelief.Gami stood before her, expression blank, his gaze distant elsewhere.

The blade in his hand hummed, its light casting long shadows across the ruined grounds. The sky groaned, splitting wider. “San no Shinka.”

Third Evolution. A resonant crack echoed. From the heavens descended a colossal hand of pure light, its fingers curling like fate itself. It swept down, seizing the swarm of Yami no Gensō in its grasp.

Their shrieks faded as they were dragged into the blinding rift, which sealed shut with a shudder.Silence fell. The light dimmed. Gami’s blade vanished like a dream.

His knees buckled, and he collapsed, darkness claiming him. Gami awoke to sunlight and the sterile scent of a hospital ward. His body ached, his mind a fog. Whispers drifted around him students, instructors, their voices hushed with awe and fear.

The door slid open. A figure entered, cloaked in ornate armor etched with glowing runes.

You used San no Shinka,” said, his voice low, heavy with suspicion. “A power no student should wield. ”He leaned closer, the air crackling. “Who are you?  ”Gami’s lips parted, but no answer came .Only silence.
