Chapter 3:
Generic Story
"Welcome home, Master Lucifer."
When the mysterious girl said those exact words, I nearly lost it on the spot.
I mean—yeah, of course the Prince of the Underworld would have a servant or two. But I expected an ambush. Fireballs. Screaming. Maybe a blood ritual. You know, classic demon stuff.
Instead, I got... her.
A short, blue-haired, horned goth girl. Sitting calmly in my living room. Next to my parents. Drinking tea. Like it was just another Tuesday.
My brain completely stalled.
“Wait, what?” I managed to say, blinking like an idiot.
She stood up, brushed imaginary dust off her all-black gothic outfit, and gave me a graceful bow.
“I’m Lilith. Loyal servant of Master Lucifer—which, technically, makes me your servant now.”
“My... what now?”
My mom gave me a nervous smile from the couch. “She explained everything while you were at the game, sweetie. About the... um... possession. The demon in your head. The glowing eyes. And—” she glanced at Lilith “—thank you for being so thorough, dear. Even if it was... strange.”
My dad just grunted and crossed his arms, still trying to process.
“I also told them I’ll be staying here from now on,” Lilith added cheerfully, like she wasn’t casually detonating my understanding of reality. “For your protection, of course.”
I turned slowly to look at my parents.
“You’re okay with a horned goth demon girl moving in?”
My mom shrugged. “She’s very polite.”
Lilith gave me a smug little smile, then leaned in and whispered:
“I also threatened to set the neighbor’s SUV on fire if they said no.”
“You what ?!”
“Joking! Mostly.”
Then she sat back down like none of that was alarming, sipping her tea like a princess of chaos. That’s when I remembered to ask the obvious question:
“Wait… how did you even find me?”
She smiled, eyes glowing faintly red.
“The moment Master Lucifer awakened in you—there was a ripple. A shockwave, almost. Across planes of existence. Every high-ranking demon felt it. I just responded the fastest.”
“You tracked a cosmic possession shockwave?”
“I was literally mid-dungeon raid,” she said, dead serious. “Dropped my scythe, opened a portal, and landed in your city within three minutes.”
“You’re kidding.”
“Would a non-loyal servant abandon a loot drop for you?”
"...I guess not?"
“And then,” she continued, “I found your house using infernal triangulation and... your mom’s Facebook.”
My soul actually left my body for a second.
“Facebook?”
“She posted a picture of you at the stadium. Looked fresh enough. I just followed the digital trail. Honestly, your social media privacy settings are a security nightmare.”
At that point, I wasn’t even surprised anymore, so I couldn't ask her how did she know what a Facebook is, guess it was from the creepy social-media stalkers that descended to the underworld.
So yeah. We had dinner. Like it was just any other normal Tuesday. Nothing weird at all—just me, my demon-possessed soul, and a goth girl from hell moving into the guest room.
And then, just as I was finally starting to relax, Lilith dropped another bomb.
“Master—er, Pedro—I thought I should let you know: I’ll be attending your school starting tomorrow.”
I nearly choked on my rice.
“Oh god.”
“Oh, that’s right,” Lu chimed in from inside my head. “You’re still in school. What year?”
“First year of high school,” I muttered. “We have three years here. I don’t know how it works in the underworld... wait—do demons even have school?”
“Fascinating,” Lu mused. “Still, what’s the issue? Lilith looks about your age. She should blend in just fine.”
I ignored the fact that Lu had completely dodged my question—probably because the answer was too obvious. Of course he and Lilith knew what a school was. They just didn’t care how normal humans functioned in one.
“You don’t understand how the teenage male mind works,” I groaned. “If anyone sees me walking in with a gorgeous girl calling me ‘Master’—we’re going to socially implode. Or worse.”
“Fair point,” Lu admitted. “Try talking to her tomorrow.”
“Wait, why me? Aren’t you her master?”
“I don’t know anything about this world. Honestly, I’d probably make things worse.”
“Well... didn’t expect that level of self-awareness from you. But okay.”
With that, I finally went to bed—feeling weirdly happy and deeply confused.
I mean—my favorite team won a title. I got possessed by the Prince of the Underworld. And now there’s a goth demon girl living in my house and going to school with me.
And somehow, things are only going to get weirder from here on out. So buckle up folks because the next chapter is going to be a wild ride, prepare yourselves for some new characters, some familiar and some new, and dramas :)
