Chapter 64: War of Fiction: Part 1 - The Preparation

Three worlds one tension zeri limit It all started with glances now, the worlds no longer merely looked at each other they prepared the ink hardened the bubbles sharpened and somewhere, between a flickering comma and a trembling blank page, the story's tone shifted

The Manga  oath unfolded in a silence saturated with red frames and motionless panels. Mangakami, repaired but incandescent, stood atop a mountain drawn with a trembling brush. his armor was made of fused storyboard pages; his eyes reflected the gleam of series canceled too soon."You were born in shouts and ink." his voice carried like a silent explosion"You are the evolution of the panel they laughed at us now, we will draw their end." at his feet, the Shōnen armies muscles, powers, oaths screamed on every page aligned without trembling the dark silhouettes of the Seinen stood in the shadows, daggers in hand, faces closed and the heroes and heroines of Shōjo, with shining eyes and immense hearts, rose with an intensity born of tears and romantic revenge. It was a wall a wall of style a barrage of dramatic plans. and behind it, a tsunami of graphic intentions meanwhile, in an unbalanced, unstable dimpension, saturated with absurd colors, chaos laughed. It was the call of the Cartoons there, on a throne made of explosive pies, existential chickens, and wall-less curtains, Toon'tagon, king of forbidden jokes, cackled with a multi-track voice."So it’s war? perfect! I have a cannon that shoots explosive gags and a piano that crushes logic!" around him, the Toon Army gathered: cosmic bugs that followed no temporal logic Immortal rabbits that redrew their own bodies with every impact conscious cheeses, dimensional frogs, and even a banana in a suit, who signed an alliance pact with a legalized scribble madness was organizing and it was perhaps the most dangerous of forces structured chaos in a calmer corner of the multiverse the atmosphere was entirely different it was the Infinite Library where the shelves never ended where books wrote their own summaries where every silence was a pending narration. The Ancient Narrator, a silhouette made of unfinished sentences and unpublished titles, rose he had no voice, only a vibration in the air but everyone heard him "They run they scream but we, we write and everything that is written is already ours." around him gathered the champions of the novel world isekai heroes, each carrying a world in the palm of their hand mages of a thousand pages, each spell a secondary subplot. summoners of concepts, capable of calling forth an armed silence or a living comma every step resonated like a paragraph every breath was already a legend but the genres were not alone the gods watched them and for the first time since the dawn of stories, they didn't know how to intervene Zeus, his voice grave, spoke, his eye trembling: "They are going to destroy the very fabric of creation." Kael, arms crossed, sword sealed, replied calmly:"The war will not begin with shouts it will begin with a missing comma." and behind him, smaller, but with eyes raised like secret suns, Saphira asked: "…Can I go too?" but the Mother’s voice cut everything short The Primordial Mother, calm, poised, eternal."No, my daughter, not yet." and then, it was the first crack not a shout, not a duel, just a shiver a neutral world, a forgotten realm of short stories, was struck without warning a universe of brief tales, of open-ended novellas, collapsed silently someone whispered, horrified"They attacked the author of the realm of short stories…" but that was only the beginning for in the ruins, it was discovered that the Manuscript of Beginnings had disappeared and no one knew if it was an attack or a trap.
