Chapter 2 Unraveling Tombstone

I walked into the building of my school completely forgetting about yesterday. I walked into the gym foyer. “Caesar!” shouted Ben as he stood there with Mike waving. A kid walks towards the group he’s smoking in the school. He grabs the cigarette and blows it out. He was the same age as me and the same size yet he still terrified me. His long bangs covered his eyes and his hoodie hid his head.

He was skinny, maybe too skinny. Ben whispers

“This man is Randy But we all call him Rad. He's a person in the cartel ""What?” I was shocked hearing the word cartel freaked me out. “He’s not a bad guy he’s against them were gonna infiltrate that place”

Says Mike trying to comfort me. “Why would you tell me?” I ask. Rad stomps his cigarette out “You are Mr. Iglesias kid that big Mafioso, Right?”

“How do you know?” I asked. “Your real name is Juan Caesar Martinez I know because of Cartel associates”

“Wanna know something, Your dad is still alive at least according to the records” Mike blurted.

I felt fear. I haven't ever felt fear like this before. I turn to look at Rad and he nods.

I look at him with fear. “But I saw him get Shot”

I replied with. Rad walks over “He either survived the shot or someone else bit the dust” said Rad.

I thought about something, that security footage.

Am I sure about what I am even thinking?

I was so confused on what I should think.

If my dad is still alive what is his cover? Where or who is he?

The school day ended as I walked outside to board the bus I saw 2 people fighting in the corner of my eye. “Ran-Randy!” I stuttered as I saw Randy beaten to a bloody pulp fight against a man that looked like a gladiator. The guy he was facing was fatter and taller than a whale. Randy stood up and within a single second of blinking. Randy had won. An aura bounced off him. Electricity surrounded him and the big bad guy was on the floor.

I was startled Rad looked back at me and said

“Caesar, since when did you get here?”

“Just got here in time to watch your victory”

I responded. Rad responded with “There’s no winner in a fight but if there is it should be the one who wants peace”

I nodded as I saw the bus start to leave. I rushed into the bus real quick before it started departing. “Cya Rad” I said as I got on. I waved and he waved back.

The bus was a mysterious place and for someone like me an anxious place. New faces and no one I knew.

I sat in the back looking behind me was a girl who seemed tired. I thought this girl is kinda like how school makes me feel stressed and tired.

The girl seemed timid, stressed, and tired. So that's the reason I compared myself to her. The chick looked at me With a creepy stare then nodded back to sleep. “What’s your name?” I muttered under my breath. Somehow she heard me and responded back.

“Julia” she whispered back.

I wonder why I even ask for her name as I walk off the bus. What importance does it serve?

“Love, something like that doesn’t even exist and specially not for me”

I sit down at the restaurant and get a pretzel.

I think when I saw that fight between Rad and that fat guy. Why if he doesn’t wanna fight, why does he?

I thought about that for a good time.

My uncle walked behind me tapping me on the shoulder. He had a film in his hands.

A recording of all his creepy videos he created into one film. A while ago I had a dark feeling about my uncle. This feeling was relieved. The videos were pretty creepy and some were funny.

The day ended soon and I quickly got ready for the next. The School bell rang. I sat down ready for the instructions from the Coach for Pe. Rad motioned me to scoot over. I scooted over to him to hear what he had to say. He whispered “ A hitman is after me”

My heart sank. I was shocked that we were being targeted. I looked outside and saw a man whom I had never seen before staring at me. He quickly disappeared.

We went outside for PE. What a terrible coincidence.

The man walked the premises of the school unnoticed me and Rad tracked him with our eyes as we hung out with the group outside.

The school day would end. Me and Rad saw the man who was stalking us all day. We walked towards him.

Rad grabbed him by the shirt, electricity crackled from his fist as he raised it. Suddenly the man repelled from Rad. He teleported towards a train track that was near the School. I rushed towards the tracks as Rad ran at a tremendous speed. I still had no idea what his power was compared to mine. He was much flashier. Rad had catches up to the bad guy.

The bad guy says” Do you know why I flew away earlier? I magnetized you earlier before school and I repelled you earlier. Also My name is Metal Dan!”

“Man you Yap a lot! Be quiet also you revealed way too much. Also When you touched me earlier that face of that guy looked different your ability is something way different then your magnet B.S!”

Rad says. I move next to rad I have finally caught up. I point to the ground and say “You're going Down! Down to hell behemoth!”

“Lightning splash!” Rad said a liquid which looks like dark blue water came out of the hands of Rad.

A lightning rod shot the liquid up the liquid generated more lightning and electricity towards Metal dan. The Electricity struck him.

Rad turned around to explain his abilities.

“Caesar, My ability is Electrolyte Electricity

My body stores Electrolytes and uses them as electricity thanks to my infinity eye.” Rad said,

“Cool” I said, “Do you mind giving me my Sports drink?” Rad responded. I tossed him his drink. Metal Dan was busy. The lightning struck and almost hit him every time. Metal Dan created metal armor around him; this was his ability Iron creation.

I said to Rad in the most confident voice I have had in a long time these words. “Rad drink your drink and let me face this Steely Dan Knockoff!”

I walked towards Metal Dan and let out my infinity eye’s power. My finger turned into a gun as I shot

At Metal Dan Three bullets fired and hit the Iron armor of Metal Dan the bullets ricocheted back at me

I caught the bullets with my fist while they were still spinning. The bullet spun my hand. I punched Metal Dan. The punch was so powerful it broke the Iron defense straight and landed directly to the face of Metal Dan. “The spin Punch that is what i will name it” I said out loud. Metal Dan was on the ground. I had no magnet on me so I could face him Directly and that’s exactly what I intended.

I shot more bullets into my fist making my fist spin faster as I started to pound metal dan with many punches to his face. The bullets were still spinning and Metal Dan was on the ground seemingly scared.

Opened my hand and the spin of the bullets made my hand hot and the bullets flew out of my hand.

The bullets shot out of the hands into Metal Dan's skull. Right there Metal Dan had died.

“Shoot I was supposed to get information from him” I whispered to myself. Suddenly I saw Rad dash forward and he had gotten a glimpse of the other guy Who was helping metal dan flee. I sat down and rested shards of iron in me and The bullets hurt my hand. So I sat.

Magnetite was the name of the accomplice of Metal Dan. Magnetite had a wealthy family who only cared about him out of the idea of him being a great successor. Magnetite ran away from the house after having way too much discipline. In the runaway he met a homeless kid the same age as him. Metal Dan was this kid they would go on adventures together and then one day they decided for money they would work as hitmen for the cartel. They joined and quickly rose to fame in the cartel’s ranks. The two stayed side by side with schemes to kill others.

They became completely evil.

Rad rushed to attack Magnetite forgetting about the magnet he had placed on him he struck. “Magnet Bomb”

Whispered Magnetite. Suddenly Where the magnet was placed on Rad’s shirt exploded and rocketed him towards me. I had just figured out that there was a magnet placed on me during that duel between Metal dan.

“Dig a Hole with some spin” I said as he was about to crash into me I shot the ground with my bullets and dug into the ground. I grabbed a rock made of Iron and threw it. Rad looked at me as he was gliding towards me “What? Your plan is Iron Rocks!” said Rad. The plan kind of worked as he was drawn to the Iron rocks but it seemed my magnet was more powerful.so I just threw more rocks to diverge the attack. Rad landed in a huge pile of Iron rocks.

“What the hell? Your plan worked?” Rad said Shocked.

Magnetite was trying to flee by repelling himself with more magnets. Though I aimed quite well and shot but missed. Rad grabbed my Shoulder and said

“You need a better angle. Now, Shoot!” Rad pulled me back and I shot the bullet. The bullet landed and hit the skull of Magnetite he was shot and hit the train tracks. A Train sound started to be heard as a train ran over Magnetite. I was truly disturbed.

We left the area and went home. More assassins would be coming after us though we knew that.

The last bus was ready for me to board, basically no one was on it except me and Rad. But there was someone in the back, a familiar face. Julia, What the hell was she doing on this bus so late at night she looked tired. I walked back there. Rad reached out and asked “You know her? She’s good looking but is really creepy” I thought creepy never thought of her as that.

I sat next to her, the timid piece of crap I was then tapped on her shoulder. Rad clearly saw how timid I was and walked back there to try to break the tension. I asked “Hey why are you still on the bus?” She whispered “Because I don’t wanna go home”

I responded “Well if it’s for that reason we're going to eat, wanna join?” she nodded and we would get off at the next station. Neon lights glowed as we walked around the area we walked into a TexMex restaurant. I never really liked tacos. I'm more of a quesadilla guy to be honest.

I sat next to Julia and Rad sat across from me. Rad seemed clueless to what he wanted but Julia knew exactly what she wanted. I just wanted a quesadilla and fries. Julia muttered “This date better be fun”

She said that directly to my face. For the drinks Me and Julia ordered Cherry Chuga-Cola and Rad ordered some Vanilla Chuga-cola.

Julia leaned on my arm and looked at me. I could hear Rad chuckling. She didn't look tired or spooky anymore. She looked good, her long dark hair shining in the moonlight. I blushed.

“Hey Caesar Let’s go to the Rollercoaster park next! ”Said Julia as She stared at me. I nodded, that's all I could do.

We had finished eating and were about to head to the park. Rad drove us and I instantly went for the scariest ride. I'm a wimp when it comes to everything except Roller Coasters. For once no fear in me and fun was all I felt. Even though it was fun I could sense someone watching me.

I didn’t know but the guy who was watching was a spy talking to his other spy friend on a Phone it seemed

“Hey The speed train is prepared for the next hitman event” the agents spoke. The other agent seemed to only text A message was sent that said “good”

The Amusement Park had been closed at 12 am so we walked. I talked to Rad as he drove us home. He dropped off Julia first then started talking to me.

“Man you got Game with her” he started off the conversation. I laughed “yeah” I was all shaken up after that date I was a nervous wreck.

“So I got intel saying that on a bullet train tomorrow there's gonna be some Cartel members we could ask them about Your dad.”

I Nodded.
