Chapter 17 High Royale

The dice have been cast. The second entry went like this: “ I have been forced to attend a Masquerade party. Scarface walked out with flames on his shoulders. Henry seems frightened as scarface reveals the head of Adam Johns. A fight broke out when the London street gang fought against the Quad.

Scarface unleashed a new skill: a lion looking beast that came from zen was unleashed and ate some of our people then its instincts hunted me and Henry since it could tell we were spies. I entered a thought into Scarface. The lion charged at Scarface as I thought I killed him. The battle royal was called off as Scarface had died. That night I went to sleep when a red eye looked at me through a window. “I can’t die” a voice said hands choked me and something forced a pillow over my face he had come back from death but how. His zen beast? Did it revive him somehow? The thought was still placed in his mind allowing me to maneuver through his surprise attack with a counter he lifted his hands as I kicked him.

I analyzed Scarface to see his weak points.

He rushed at me as I dodged his attack. He fell over and saw his face he was no longer human, his face had fangs he had merged with the beast.

Blood was shed and Logan was killed by Scarface who is no longer human and Henry was hanged which caught the attention of the pierce family who now rebelled against International assassins association and Toru.

Seems each day I spiral further and further from happiness. I can cover it up with a smile or anything else but my friends are dead,my dad, my uncle, and I have no purpose. I won't be able to live a normal life and I've disappeared for a while.I miss Rad and even my dad who was evil, leon shouldn’t have died and all I feel is pain. It's a never ending cycle of hell. Can someone please help me? I felt like I was lying on top of my house's roof like I used to do when I was depressed and lonely when I was a kid. Have I ever been happy?

Will I ever be happy?

Even if I was happy, would it be enough for the pain? Nothing can bring them back.The darkest state of mind I have ever sunk too is here.

Toru calls Scarface and says “Now that you are a beast you may lead us into war!” With no humanity remaining, Scarface was very eager to kill.

Ben,Mike,King,Chris, and Slayer with Katana dog went towards the old Chuga cola factory. They made it in quick time with Chris’s money from the drive clubs.

They had found the person who was gonna kill Ben’s family. Ben took off his shirt to reveal many scratches on his back. Ben had a chain he grabbed and twisted it around the guy The assassin Pincer was chained up. He was forced to fall to the ground.

Ben grabbed his sword and moved, slashing him multiple times. Pincer was cut in half.

“Thanks for getting rid of that prick,” a voice said. Another head came out of the dead sliced up body then another body emerged with that head.

The man had a sickle and was in a business suit.

His face was covered with a mask.

He grabbed his sickle and swung a dimension portal open up. “Fight me when you're stronger, kid” The guy said as he disappeared. The guards went into the dimension as well and now Ben needed to give up on this mission the man’s ability was clearly higher power than his. He needed to train.

Ben called me,”The man who threatened my family who I have mentioned is way stronger than me. What should I do?” Ben said. “I don’t exactly know but we do need someone to go to England to take out the Mafia there. Maybe you will seek power there?” I asked, the call ended.

With the ending of the games we learned that Toru had formed all his groups into a super group for a war but this information given from a traitor Rad once knew also told us that Toru still had the teams split up.

Ben would be heading for England soon. Ben would walk towards the next airport he would find a field near the airport nobody was there wheat field with the sunsetting.The guys laid down and for a bit laid there in the peaceful orange sunset it was beautiful. Ben told himself “Stuff like this is the meaning to continue to live”.

Meanwhile I was wondering why I should live when all I do is suffer.

We had left the building we were in to meet my cousin and we had checked around Italy. I started driving a car we picked up. I wanted to be taught how to drive a car so Kyle got in the passenger seat and watched. I took the wheel and started driving in a parking lot.I didn’t know what I was doing so I let Kyle drive and he hit some drifts instantly. The car rocked a bit. “Sorry I'm a bit rusty,” said Kyle.

Ben was getting on the airplane and was about to head to London to meet up with a mysterious fate.

It was only mid flight when something suspicious happened on the plane lights went out and suddenly Slayer disappeared. Ben heard this and in morse code he called Chris to listen. Chris' blindness from the eclipse stayed there but he had an idea he copied all types of zen and technique he had been training on and with copying Light zen he could heal his eyes. This was his first time trying this technique on healing his eyes. It worked and he could now see.

Suddenly Chris couldn’t be seen like he vanished. He was moving so fast because of how happy he was to see.Chris sensed a person with zen using light zen. Then he simply assassinated him quickly. That was the threat but that was all the flight later seemed safe or was it?

The ability seemed to activate right after the guy died.

Over Chris’s head he could see a bomb detonator with a countdown seemed only he could see it the ability would most likely turn him to a bomb. Killing that man was a terrible mistake. The timer counted down to 30 seconds. What was he supposed to do on a plane he wondered.Chris started running his fiend horns showed and his smile widened as he ran for the back of the plane and jumped out the emergency exit. Wind surrounded him so no explosion impact would happen. What could he do knowing he was gonna explode in less than 10 seconds now.

Chris had an idea as he started feeling his body to see if there was a place where the bomb was planted he felt a lump near his heart. “Shit cardiac bombs that's what his ability is it will kill me instantly” Chris then had an idea he used light zen then the bomb detonated and light zen healed up the wound instantly and healed the heart tissue.

Then out of fire zen Chris was able to use the fire as propulsion cannons that would allow him to fly like “Iron Man”.Chris flew high enough that he was on the wing of the plane. A child on the plane pointed to him and said “look mom look” When she looked she was so confused.

Chris landed on the wing and sat there the whole time until the plane landed. With enough light zen he made a cloak which made him invisible and the wind resistance did not affect him. Later they would abort in England. It was night time and they headed for an area which I had told them to go and they met up with some crazy people who were fighting the battle was on as they attacked but the group easily beat them until they called reinforcements in which they ran away with a random person into there house this man they met was named Quincy Pierce and he welcomed them to there house The team knew that he was an assassin since he was an associate they knew but to get the information they would have to go through an test. Quincy asked, “So you want info on an assassin” Ben nodded. “For such information You’ll have to gain my trust” said Quincy he used “Break Heart” which allowed him to know if he was lying or not then he activated cast which now he had an bottomless deck of cards and he drew five cards Ben was confused at the things that were happened He thought to himself what the hell we gonna play “Cardfight Vanguard” Quincy showed one card.

The card Seek and destroy was activated now Light started falling like meteors. This card lets him choose a card from his bottomless deck and use it.

He chose the card Light Prison and activated it.

The light prison surrounded Ben and he couldn’t get out of it.

I was sitting in the back of the rental car as we were driving around. I was still in a depressed state until Julia started talking To me “are you good you look sad?” She asked.

I responded “I hate myself for letting Toru grope you and the death of Rad, Will, and everyone else. I hate it. Why does everyone die?” She said “Not everyone this crew will live and life will be better”
