Chapter 1:

happy forever?

fallen grace #feistypanda

Elysia walks gracefully beside Thalos, her wings trailing behind her as they glide through the celestial city's streets

"I can hardly believe we're finally wed, my love. The joy in my heart feels endless."

She squeezes his hand gently, her eyes sparkling with pure joy

Thalos smiles warmly at Elysia, his wings brushing against hers in a tender gesture

"The stars above seem to shine brighter today, just like your smile."

They continue walking, drawing curious glances from other angels who pass by

A gentle breeze carries through the city, causing Elysia's feathers to flutter slightly as she looks at there new house

"Look at how beautiful our home is, Thalos. I'm so grateful we can share this moment together."

She leans her head against his shoulder as they walk, radiating pure contentment

Thalos wraps his arm around Elysia's waist, pulling her closer as they stroll through the celestial gardens

"Every moment with you is precious. Our union will forever be remembered in the annals of Heaven."

The flowers around them glow softly, responding to their angelic presence

Elysia's expression suddenly becomes thoughtful as she gazes at the shimmering fountain ahead

"Thalos... do you ever wonder what our future holds? Will we always be together like this?"

Her voice carries a hint of vulnerability, unusual for an angel

Thalos stops walking and turns to face her, his expression serious yet tender

"Forever is but a single moment in eternity, my love. But I choose to spend that moment with you."

He cups her face gently, his thumb tracing her cheek

Elysia leans into his touch, her eyes reflecting both love and uncertainty

"I want to believe that... but something feels different today. The air feels heavy with... change."

She glances around uneasily, sensing an unusual tension in the atmosphere

Thalos pulls her into a comforting embrace, his wings wrapping around her protectively

"You worry too much, my beloved. Let's focus on our joy today - our union is the only certainty we need."

He gently strokes her hair, trying to soothe her unease

Thalos kisses her forehead softly, feeling her tension melt away

"That's better. Now, shall we continue our walk? I heard the eastern gardens have bloomed with new flowers."

He takes her hand again, leading her toward the eastern horizon

As they approach the eastern gardens, Elysia gasps at the breathtaking sight of vibrant flowers in every shade

"Oh Thalos... they're magnificent! Look at how they dance in the breeze..."

She twirls joyfully among the blossoms, her earlier worries forgotten

Thalos watches her with adoration, his heart swelling with love

"Your happiness is the most beautiful thing here, my love."

He plucks a delicate white flower and tucks it behind her ear, its petals glowing softly against her hair

Elysia giggles and pulls him into the flower bed with her

"Come join me! Let's make memories among these blooms that will last forever."

She playfully tugs at his wings, encouraging him to relax and enjoy the moment

Thalos chuckles and allows himself to be pulled down, the flowers rustling beneath them

"You're incorrigible, my wild angel. But I wouldn't have it any other way."

He wraps his arms around her, both of them surrounded by the fragrant blooms

Suddenly, a deep voice interrupts their peaceful moment

Seraphon appears at the garden entrance, his expression cold and calculating

Elysia and Thalos quickly rise to their feet, sensing something is wrong with Seraphon's presence

"Seraphon... to what do we owe this unexpected visit?"

Thalos steps protectively in front of Elysia, his wings slightly unfurling

Seraphon's eyes narrow as he approaches, his aura radiating with barely contained malice

"I've come to deliver a message from the Archangels themselves."

He pauses, a sinister smile forming on his face

"You two are accused of grave misconduct. Your union is... forbidden."

Elysia gasps in shock, her face paling as the weight of Seraphon's words sinks in

"What... what do you mean forbidden? We've done nothing wrong!"

Thalos stands firm, though his hands clench into fists

Seraphon steps closer, his voice dripping with false sympathy

"The laws of Heaven are clear. Angels may not form romantic attachments. Your love is a blasphemy."

He gestures dramatically, as if presenting a terrible crime

Thalos takes a step forward, his eyes blazing with defiance

"This is madness! Our love is pure and sacred. We've committed no crime."

Elysia trembles behind him, her faith in their union wavering under Seraphon's accusations

Seraphon's smile widens, clearly enjoying their distress

"Your love has tainted the celestial harmony. The Archangels have already made their decision."

He pulls out a scroll, unrolling it with deliberate slowness

"You're to be stripped of your wings and banished from Heaven."

Elysia clutches Thalos' arm, her voice shaking

"No... please, this can't be happening. We've done nothing to deserve this!"

Thalos turns to her, his expression fierce with determination

"We won't go quietly. This isn't justice - it's a betrayal of everything we stand for."

Seraphon's expression darkens at their defiance

"Your resistance is futile. The Archangels have already summoned the Guardians."

The air grows heavy with tension as celestial guards begin to appear in the distance

Thalos pulls Elysia closer, his mind racing for a way out

"We need to run, my love. They won't listen to reason."

The guards advance, their spears gleaming with holy light

Elysia nods, tears forming in her eyes

"Where can we go? We're angels - we don't belong anywhere else."

Seraphon watches them with cold satisfaction, knowing they're trapped

Thalos' eyes dart around, spotting a hidden passage behind the flowerbeds

"Follow me! There's a way out through the mortal realm."

He starts moving toward the passage, pulling Elysia with him

Seraphon shouts angrily, signaling the guards to pursue them

"Stop them! Don't let them escape!"

The guards charge forward, their wings creating powerful gusts of wind

Thalos pushes Elysia ahead of him into the passage, the narrow opening barely wide enough for their wings.

"Hurry! We need to reach the mortal realm before they catch us!"

The guards crash into the garden, their spears scraping against the stone walls
