Chapter 2:

Tigers Are Bipolar

A Delusional Girl's Guide to Survival

Hello, hello, so far in this shitty life of mine, I learned that you only live once but die twice!

And I am Chae Yeonnok, your host.

So while I did think it was probable that shithole of a king would try to kill me, I believed in my plot armor, which according to my current luck was actually in negatives!

Woohoo!

I can’t believe I thought I was the protagonist for a moment.

Now, as to what is going on right now?

I have no idea. I have been floating like an asteroid for some time.

Where?

Of course, I don’t know.

Whatever made you think I know what I’m doing is fucking wrong.

And let’s meet our guest, a star-like thing that started twinkling!

[Are you dumb?]

I placed a finger on my lips.

What makes you think I'm not?

[You were not supposed to die?]

I did.

You even commented on it!

I laughed.

[True, I just wanted you to know you were dead]

[Considering your delusions]

You got me.

[Anyway, go back]

I don’t want to.

I thought about it, and life ain’t worth it.

[Okay]

[Okay]

[If you don’t, you will have to do paperwork for me, your whole existence]

[ If you survive it, you can read the final chapter]

[And you can live a life reading any novel you want?]

I was silent.

It was tempting.

And I did not want to do paperwork. Ever.

What exactly do I have to do?

[Finish the story]

[Reach the final arc, the final war, and unite the people]

[Become the otherworldly you were talking about]

I don’t understand anything, but okay!

Also, what if I die?

[Don’t worry, it doesn’t matter if you die]

Can I live really without worrying? Reading webnovels?

[Yes]

Okay.

I will do it.

[Good]

The system glowed brighter and took the form of a human female. With white hair and yellow pupils.

For a moment, she smiled.

And then snapped her fingers.

A glowing light surrounded me. Yay, magical girl time!

I twirled around, and I fell to the ground.

The sword that had killed me before missed. I could feel the wind being ripped apart.

This motherfucking system had sent me right before I died.

I stood up quickly, and the sword aimed at me. Again.

From the corner of my eye, I saw a ring on his left hand.

I dodged the attack and screamed, “Look! Your wife!”

[Bluff lvl 2]

The guy turned around, and I ran away.

Poor guy, must have been happy.

I ran between the men and women who were fighting to the death, some swords, no magic.

Why no magic?

GRS Lore #1: Wars took place in dead zones of magic; therefore, no one could use magic.

Cool right!

Because otherwise, I would have died more.

I ran, and a woman with orange ears tried to stab me.

I leaned back, and the sword missed my neck.

Another scar was made, though.

The woman was awfully familiar.

Her grey hair and black eyes. Half-tiger half-human.

“Tira?” I mumbled.

She froze.

Bingo.

Why?

She was a character who had a high bounty and was fighting under a fake name.

And a sick brother to boot.

Before she could move, I said, “Tira, you don’t want to be found out, do you?”

“Who in the hell ar—”

I grabbed her hand. “Let’s talk somewhere else.”

She stood her ground.

I just grinned, “I’ll help you with your brother, too.”

[Skill: Blackmail lvl 1]

And she followed me.

Heck, she even helped me out.

We got out of the war grounds pretty easily.

Now we were inside the forest beside the war grounds.

Thank you, novel knowledge.

I turned towards her.

And then she punched me in the stomach, and I fell to the ground. Then she grabbed me by my neck and dragged me to a tree.

I might have forgotten she was a dangerous character.

“Spit it out!” She held her dagger close to my eyes.

“If you kill me, I can’t!” I choked out.

She let go.

I might have gotten myself into trouble.

Oh well.

“Your brother will die in three days, if you don’t let me help you!” I yelled.

[Liar lvl 3]

“Huh? Why would I believe you?” She scoffed.

“Because I am a God!”

[Skill: Liar lvl 4]

[Skill: Delusional lvl 3]

“A God trapped by a mere anihuma?” She looked at me like I was trash..

“That is what you think!” I yelled, smirking. “I am trapped only because I am letting you!”

“If I wanted, you all would be dead; it is my mercy that is letting you live!” I sounded confident, after all the years of working at the corporation does that.

“Okay, then what is your proof?” She asked, frowning.

“Why? I can answer anything about your world.” I laughed.

“Your brother has the rare Bluele disease that slowly turns everything inside his body to toxin—am I wrong?” I looked her in the eye.

She grabbed my face, “ Do you really know–”

Tears threatened to spill out of her eyes. Her whole face tightened.

“Why yes!” I grinned. “I do, I promise I know how to heal him.”

My voice softened by the end.

I did know how, but he would neither die in three days nor would we get the needed materials to cure his disease in that period.

“Take me to your house, and I will prolong his life.” I placed my hand over hers. “Meanwhile, you get the ingredients!”

Yup, this was not going to work.

She pressed my face, hard enough that I was sure I would turn blue.

But then she let go.

“I don’t believe you, but–” She let go and wrapped her face within her palms, grieving in happiness.

A violent method to show your thanks. Or was that a threat?

I would run away while she goes to gather the materials. I patted her back. She was a good character, I liked her. Top ten really.

“Don’t worry, I will save your brother, no matter what!” I said, my tone gentle like a soft summer breeze.

[Skill: Dramatic lvl 2]

[Skill: Liar lvl 5]

She looked at me and walked away.

I breathed and massaged my stomach and face. Tigers were pretty violent.

“How do we get out of this place now?” I asked, standing up. My legs almost gave up.

“Aren’t you the god?” She scoffed. What is she? Bipolar?

“I am, I was just wondering if you could match my intelligence.”

[Skill: Dramatic lvl 3]

She shut up and looked at the ongoing war through the gaps in the forest..

I stared at the Anihuma. GRS Lore #2: Anihuma was a term for half-beast, half-human people.

“How do we get out of here? My city is beyond the war borders?” She asked, not looking at me.

I remained silent.

“Aren’t you a God? Can’t you stop this shit?” She turned at me and pointed to the battle.

I smiled.

“I am the God, but I can’t exactly change their conscience without killing, and I am a benevolent God.” I shook my head.

[Skill: Liar lvl 5]

“So we will just burn the whole ground!”

She stared at me.
