Chapter 0:

PROLOGUE: The Para System

PARADOSA

“When a soul dies, it doesn’t vanish. It chooses.”

In the vast expanse between life and death, there lies a forgotten realm known as Stage 1—a spiritual limbo where judgment no longer belongs to gods, but to the souls themselves.

There, the dead are divided not by sins... but by regret.

PARADOSA

Souls who died with guilt etched into their hearts. These beings refused to pass on, haunted by the consequences of their actions. But instead of vanishing, they chose atonement.

They are granted power. They are given form.
They become Paradosa—warriors of redemption who fight to protect the living from corrupted spirits.

Their mission: to destroy the Paramental.

PARAMENTAL

Unlike Paradosa, Paramentals are souls who do not regret their sins. They embrace them. They crave more.

Evil that survived death itself—twisted spirits that now seek to corrupt both the spirit world and the human realm.

They are strong. Endless. Eternal.

They need weapons—etched with their own death. CARDWEAPON

Each Paradosa wields a weapon crafted from the memory of their final moments.
The CardWeapon is a reminder of who they were… and how they were killed. No two are the same. To activate their power, Paradosa drink a weekly elixir known as the Special Poison. This awakens the Special Finger—a unique combat ability that channels their regret into energy through their hands.

SPECIAL FINGER

A mystic power born from guilt. Each Paradosa’s finger glows with a different aura, used to cast techniques, curses, or devastating attacks. But the longer they fight… The more their soul withers. Paradosa are not meant to live. They are meant to repent. This is not a tale of heroes. It’s a story of monsters who wish they weren’t.
