Act 1 The Banging Scene 3

Narrator: the five boys finished looking all over the house, then they all had a great time together, but of course, the doubt still stayed. They all went to their designated rooms and unpacked their stuff.

(in Daniel's room)

Daniel brown: “Ah, so curious what's inside that room, it's so silent that it could still hear the noise from here, got to check it out.”

(in Trevor’s room)

Trevor Scott: “The banging is so annoying, I got to see what it is.” (A sudden knock at Trevor's door surprises him and he opens) “Huh, Jim, what are you doing here, aren't you supposed to be in your room?”

Jim Turner: (has the scared look on his face and his holding tight to his pillow) “Trevor, can I..I stay with you, I'm kind of scared of that sound, it sounds very haunting.”

Trevor Scott: “Well, you'll have to go back to your room because I am going to find out what's behind that door and make that noise stop.”

Jim Turner: (Hugging his pillow tighter) “Well then, I will go with you, I don't want to be left alone.”

Trevor Scott: (leaving his room) “Well then, fine, do what you want, if you're coming, stay close to me.”

Jim Turner: (sprinting and getting close to Trevor, still hugging his pillow) “OK then, I'll stay close, thank you, Trevor.”

Trevor Scott: “Hey, not that close.”

(in Thomas's room)

Thomas Finn: “Uhh, why do I get the feeling that Daniel might go to the locked room? i should go and check if he has gone.”

Narrator: (The scene changes to in front of the chained door in the hallway.)

Daniel brown: (is in front of the door) “I'm finally here, wait, but how should I open it? How do I take off the chains?

Narrator: Daniel was asking himself these questions when he heard a bit of rustling, and to his surprise, when he looked, there was Chad.

Daniel brown: (looking towards Chad) “Whoa Chad, how did I not notice you? Wait, did you come to see what's behind the door?”

Chad Oxford: (looking up at Daniel) “Nah, the thing is I kind of lost myself in this big castle and I couldn't find my room, so I tried to retrace my steps and found myself in front of the chain door, so I stayed here.”

Daniel brown: “Why would you stay here?”

Chad Oxford: “Well, because I know you like investigating the unknown, so eventually you would come back and there you could help me find my room.”

Narrator: As Chad finishes his sentence, they both hear some footsteps coming towards them. They look towards the way that the sound is coming from, and as they come closer, they can see that it is Trevor and Jim following behind him.

Daniel brown: “Hey, you guys, you came to join the adventure to find out what's behind this door.”

Trevor Scott: (Looking a bit angry) “Pretty much and to destroy what is making that noise.”

Jim Turner: (looking a bit scared) “Um, Trevor, I don't think it's OK to destroy other people's stuff.”

Thomas Finn: (Getting closer to the group a boy in front of the chain door) “Well, it seems like nobody couldn't sleep this night, and just as I suspected Daniel is here, but I didn't expect all of you guys to also be here, did Daniel convince you for another adventure.”

Daniel brown: (looking at the whole group) “Well, it looks like the team is ready, let's go.”
