Chapter 0:

Prologue: The Point of Origin

Elemental Scapes

In a world where the elements—Earth, Fire, Water, and Wind—flow freely through the veins of the land, choosing those deemed worthy to wield their power.

From this sacred bond were born the Shizensei —artifacts of unimaginable strength, each a fragment of nature’s will given form. Only those attuned deeply enough could awaken these weapons, granting them the ability to perform feats far beyond what they had ever imagined.

In the market square of Shizenichi-no-Sato...

"Earth's only good for defense," a lanky farmer muttered, watching a group of village youths sparring nearby.

"Seriously," his friend chimed in, sipping plum wine. "All they ever do is toss huge rocks you can dodge from a mile away or build giant dirt walls and hide behind them. So basic."

The first man laughed, voice sharp. "Might as well give 'em some clay and let 'em focus on pottery!"

They both burst out laughing, shaking their heads.

Among the four elements, Earth weapons were seen as redundant and static—misunderstood, stolid, silent, and lacking flash.

Yet beneath their rough surface lay a power as enduring as the mountains and as patient as the soil.

It was said that one day, a wielder would emerge—born of nature itself—whose weapon would awaken an ancient strength long thought lost, and with it, change the fate of all who walk upon the land.
