Chapter 1:

PROLOGUE: Before Gerlince

Oathbound to Gerlince

When the world was shrouded in mist—
When flames surged like a tsunami—
When buildings collapsed into shards of glass—
Many lost their families.

But one child survived.

His blue eyes wept. His hands folded tightly, as if to hold the weight of his emptiness. His messy dark brown hair framed a sorrowful face.
He was alone.

Kneeling, his body hunched over the dirt. His head hung so low it nearly touched his chest. He clutched his mother’s pendant tightly, and screamed into the silence.

Andro had lost everything.

His tears fell to the earth.
Suddenly—
One drop began to glow, shining like an aurora dancing across a mountain sky. The light transformed into the figure of a woman.

"Stop crying. You are not alone," said the woman.

Startled, Andro lifted his head, instinctively stumbling backward.
"W-who are you!? You must be the one… the one who took everything from me! My home... my family... my mother!" he shouted, clutching the pendant to his chest.

The woman, glowing with a gentle violet aura, smiled softly.
It was a smile filled with warmth—comforting, peaceful.
"I'm here to help. I wasn't the one who took those things away from you, Andro."

Andro stared at her.
She stared back.
In her eyes was the warmth of a mother's embrace, powerful enough to chase away the sorrow behind his tears.

"I'm here to take away that sadness. I know you miss your mother," she said.

And those words pierced straight into the boy's heart, planting trust where only pain had lived.

"You... you're not human, are you? That... that violet magic—it's just like in my storybooks..."

She smiled again, moved by his innocent wonder and the quiet ache it carried.

"My name is Homori Arleithyn, a spirit of Gerlince. I come to guide those who are special and gifted—like you—toward a life that brings meaning to others."

Raising her slender hand, light shimmered between her graceful fingers—violet auroras swirling in her palm.

"With the boundless wisdom that echoes through the ages, Gerlince has set her gaze upon you—chosen not by chance, but by destiny—to rise as a valiant warrior within our sacred realm..."

Before Andro could take his next breath, the world was engulfed in purple light.
In just one second, everything around him transformed—
Into a world of grandeur.

This is the beginning... of your second life.
