Chapter 5:

Chapter 6: Shadows Behind the Veil

Angelineceuu:the lighting fang of the opperessed

Several days had passed since the mission at the Aetherium Ruins, and on the surface, life at Academia Arcana seemed normal.
Angeline returned to her routine: morning classes, afternoon sword training, and nights spent asleep with her head full of new strategies. But one thing had changed...
> The stares.

No longer the scornful gazes of the past—but a mixture of awe and fear.
Even the professors began to observe her more seriously. But beneath that attention... there was something else.

🌒 Nightfall: The Highest Tower
Atop the tallest tower, far from student reach, a group of cloaked figures sat around a round table of black crystal.
Etched faintly into the floor below them:
> Three overlapping eyes, inscribed within an ancient magic circle.

They were members of Ordo Limbus — a secretive organization that had infiltrated many magic academies.
An old man with a deep voice opened the meeting:
> “The Tabaxi girl… Angeline Ceu. She’s touched absolute speed and accessed techniques that aren’t even taught at the academy.”

“And she resists the system,” added another, a woman’s voice.
> “Is she a threat… or a tool?”

🐾 Meanwhile: Angeline
Back at the dorms, Angeline awoke in the middle of the night, sensing she was being watched.
She rose quietly, slipped outside—and spotted a shadowy figure on the roof.
The figure dropped a paper, fluttering softly down.
She caught it.
It contained only one sentence:
> “If you wish to know who truly shapes the world of magic, come to the clock garden at midnight. Come alone.”
⏳ A Secret Meeting
Angeline arrived, katana on her back, ears alert.
In the center of the garden, someone awaited her:
A girl with short white hair, golden eyes, and a faint symbol of the Ordo Limbus etched at her neck.
Her name was Myra Vell—the youngest member of the Order, currently infiltrating the academy as an ordinary student.
“I’m not your enemy,” she said quickly, before Angeline could draw her blade.“I was sent because… you’ve caught the attention of the Three Eyes.”
“Who are they?” Angeline asked sharply.
> “Ordo Limbus. We’re not part of the academy, but we oversee all academies. Our mission… is to maintain balance between magic and the races. And you, Angeline Ceu... are a fracture in that system.”
🧠 A Dangerous Offer
Myra stepped closer, slowly.
“Join us. We can give you the ancient Tabaxi techniques long erased from history. We can make those who oppressed you… kneel.”
Angeline’s gaze sharpened.
> “And if I refuse?”
Myra gave a faint smile.
> “Then you’ll be deemed a threat. And the magical world… deals harshly with threats.”
🌕 End of Chapter
Before leaving, Myra dropped a black medal—shaped like three eyes.
> “The choice is yours. But remember… this world has no place for the half-hearted.”

As she vanished into the shadows, Angeline stood still, staring at the medal in her hand.
> “Ancient Tabaxi techniques...? What have they been hiding from me?”

And for the first time…
> Angeline’s ambition was no longer just about her race’s dignity—but about exposing the rot at the very roots of this world.
