The morning after the night at the Sealed Tower came with an eerie stillness.The Academy looked normal — but inside a dorm room, two friends sat in silence.
Angeline sat at the edge of her bed, eyes vacant as she stared at the old map.Across the room, Myra leaned against the window, her hand resting on the fogged glass.
> “You're… really not going to tell me anything, huh?”Myra finally broke the silence.


Angeline turned, hesitant.
> “I just didn’t want you to get caught in something that could… destroy you.”


Myra let out a quiet, bitter laugh.
> “That’s funny. Because the reason I joined this academy…was to stand beside you. Not to watch from afar.”

Myra stepped forward, her face serious, voice trembling.
> “You can Voidstep.You’ve been approached by some secret organization.You’re stepping into a world I don’t even understand…and you think you can walk it alone?”


Angeline looked down, a storm raging inside her.

> “And you think I’m not afraid of losing you?” Myra snapped.


Silence. Then slowly, tears began to fall from her eyes. But she stood tall.
> “You’re not just the heir to some power.You’re my best friend… someone I trust.If you keep pushing me away, I’ll be nothing but a bystander as you drown.”

At last, Angeline stood and approached her.She held out the torn half of the map.
> “If you come with me…you need to know I won’t be able to turn back.”


Myra took the map without hesitation.
> “Then I’ll make sure you don’t fall halfway.”
