Chapter 26:

Chapter 27: A Confession of Feelings

Angelineceuu:the lighting fang of the opperessed

A light drizzle fell over Aerthalia. The sound of the rain was soft, almost a whisper — as if the sky itself understood that the academy was trying to heal.
Angeline sat on her dorm balcony, her body still wrapped in healing bandages. Her eyes gazed at the sky, but her thoughts were far away.
> "You know, ever since I was little, I used to run fast... not because I liked running. But because it was the only thing that made me feel... unchained."Myra didn’t respond. She simply sat beside her and gently placed a blanket over Angeline’s shoulders.

❤️ Myra: Fear and Admiration
Myra, usually bold and sharp-tongued, was calm now. Her voice trembled slightly.
> "When you were unconscious... I felt empty. It was like the world would collapse without the sound of your footsteps."

Angeline gave a faint, bitter smile.
> "But I’m the Void Heir. You know everyone wants me gone — even some of the teachers."

> "Let them talk. I’m still here.I still belong to you."

Silence settled between them. Then, Myra gently rested her head on Angeline’s shoulder. No words were needed.
> And in that moment, the Void within Angeline grew quiet — for the first time since her awakening.
🌙 Real: The Honesty That Waited
The next night, Real approached Angeline while she was training slowly in the academy's rear courtyard, alone. Her magic barely made a sound — elegant and precise.
> "You know... I’m afraid of you now," Real said softly, truthfully.

Angeline stopped. "Then why are you still here?"
> "Because fear isn’t a reason to walk away...And because I’m also afraid of losing you."

Angeline chuckled softly — not mocking, but pained.
> "I’m a crack in this world, Real.If you get too close, you’ll fall through it too."
> "Maybe. But that crack gave me a place to stand when everything else was shaking."
Quietly, he touched the back of her hand. Not for long, but long enough to make both of their hearts race.

✨ Emotional Reflection
That same night, Angeline wrote something in her small notebook — not Voidstep notes, but something personal:
> "They don’t see me as a girl. They see me as a weapon, a key, or destruction. But they… Myra and Real… they see me as Angeline. And maybe, that’s enough for now."

🔚 End of Chapter
The next morning, Angeline stood in the center of the training grounds, her body slowly healing, her Voidstep steadier than ever.
Myra and Real stood on either side of her. The three of them shared a glance.
> "Thirna Hollow is waiting," said Myra.
> "And we’ll enter it… as a team," Real added.
> Angeline took a deep breath.
> "Then let’s change the world. But this time… not alone."
