Chapter 51:
My Telekinetic Office Lady Girlfriend Is Way Too Powerful!
Rolling their suitcases behind them, Ryoko and Shota made their way toward Munich Central Station (München Hbf). Before heading out, Ryoko had already mapped out their route, and they decided to grab breakfast at a bakery along the way.
“Wow! Real pretzels from Germany!”
Shota’s eyes lit up as he looked into the display case filled with pretzels of all shapes and sizes, along with the fragrant, hearty rye breads. Each one looked incredibly appetizing.
“Pick anything you like—but only as much as you can actually eat,” Ryoko said with a warm smile.
After a moment’s thought, Shota placed a classic pretzel and a cheese-topped Laugenstangen on his tray.
With their fresh bread in hand, the two continued toward Munich Central Station. Unlike Tokyo Station, Munich’s main terminal is a terminal station—no trains pass through; they all begin or end there. The structure resembled a massive hall, with platforms fanning out side by side beneath a vaulted ceiling. Inside the open space, travelers, commuters, and locals enjoying breakfast at the cafés bustled about.
“This is totally different from Tokyo Station. All the trains just end here,” Shota said.
“Right. Unlike in Japan, the trains don’t pass through. They all pull in head-first and stop here,” Ryoko explained.
They found their platform for the local line and boarded a train bound for Tegernsee. German regional trains typically have spacious seats and large windows, offering a great view of the passing scenery.
As the train began moving, the urban skyline gradually gave way to lush greenery. The rhythm of the train was soothing, and Shota munched happily on his pretzel while gazing out the window.
“This bread is amazing! Just the right amount of salt, and the texture is so chewy.”
“Told you. German bread comes in so many varieties, each with its own distinct flavor. It’s fun to try them all.” Ryoko, watching Shota’s contented expression, tore off a small piece of her rye bread and popped it in her mouth.

【After about an hour-long train ride, they arrived at Tegernsee Station.】As they stepped off the train, a scene like something out of a painting stretched out before them—crystal-clear blue waters of the lake surrounded by gently rolling green hills. The air was peaceful and calm, far removed from the noise of city life, despite being a tourist destination. Traditional wooden homes and buildings in Bavarian architectural style dotted the landscape, giving the town a warm, welcoming charm.
“Wow… This place is beautiful,” Shota murmured, awestruck.
“Hehe, the German countryside is wonderful, isn’t it? Come on—let’s head to Masako-san’s house.”
Dragging their suitcases behind them, they strolled along the lakeside path. The lake shimmered softly in the light, and now and then, the wind rustled through the trees with a gentle whisper.
Ryoko’s mother, Masako, lived in a house perched on a small hill not far from the lake. It was a white-walled home with a balcony, exuding the quaint elegance of traditional Bavarian architecture. Colorful flowers bloomed in the garden, and a stone-paved path led up to the front door.
Ryoko paused for a moment and took a deep breath.
“You okay?” Shota asked, gently taking her hand.
“Yes. I’m okay,” Ryoko replied with a smile, then stepped forward—gathering her resolve, she knocked on the door.
