Chapter 0:

Prologue: Ending This Revelation

Burning Phoenix

Beyond the wreckage was silence.

No life or breath took form, as burnt corpses laid bare amongst the dunes. Lethal air, filled to the brim of inferno, blew through the scarce region beyond the endless horizon.

Touch and taste were gone; hearing and smelling were destroyed. With no life, no spirit or soul rose from the ashes.

—A single thud was heard—

Thumping to knocking, knocking to thumping again, and then loud banging. And then it stopped.

A ferocious boom plowed the metal shaft into the air. Disrupting the sound of blowing wind, it landed amongst the other metal debris which came with it. Splashing the millions of grains of sands, it descended down a hill created by—

A single man came out of the metallic debris. A man burdened by luck, a man who went through hell and back, a man who saved others who needed saving.

And a man plagued by horrors beyond human’s imagination.

Was he a soldier? Was he a hero? Was he human?

Glancing at the chaos engulfed in flames, he might as well take note of the endless horizon. Sand, sand as far as his eyes could see, would he take it head on?

If he did, then how?

Just my luck…

Any normal human would feel lonely, despair, by just at the first sight of seeing nothing but the same grain. And any normal person would panic under these circumstances. So why isn’t he?

Because despite the odds, he had a purpose.

—I guess this is how it begins…

He walked.

If walking is all he could do, then walking is all he would do. Through the burning sand, he had a goal, a way to start a genesis.

No matter what, I’ll save everyone.

He’ll push.

Even in hell, even in purgatory, even in heaven, he’ll keep walking amongst the Earth.

For as long as he lay breath, he won’t die. For as long as his feet push, he won’t kneel. Is he a soldier? A hero? What is he?

I will prevail, cause I’m—

—The man was never to be seen again—
