Chapter 16:

A Week Talk #7

Am I losing Interest in Writing?

Alright, let's get it straight.

Last week, I had a disastrous weekend because my workplace and home Wi-Fi didn't work properly. I had no idea what happened, but for some reason, when the connection was lost, you clicked 'Save Draft' multiple times. Then, when the connection was restored, you ended up with multiple chapters of your previously saved draft.
Yes, that's what happened to me last week, at least only at my workplace.

Then, when I went back home, I wanted to fix those, right? Well, the Wifi was down as well. That is bullshit. I was frustrated, and I ended up just posting that "Week Skip" chapter.

Then I thought about it on Tuesday (My Time), "Well, I finally fixed it, why don't I just upload it now?"

That's basically what happens. What a weekend I had, yeah?

Anyway, that aside, let's forget about that and move on to a new day.

This week, oh boy, I had a lot to talk about.
The first one is the "Stop Killing Game" initiative.
I don't think I need to say much about it, considering millions of content creators have made dozens of videos in the past week. But I just want to give my voice about it.
I 100% agree with the initiative. I want this to get through, and we gamers can enjoy the game that we bought without fear of them taking it away and burying it.

It is impressive how the tables have turned. From not being successful for, I kid you not, ten months ago, to now, where it is already at 80%. Lads, we take those. Woop woop!

And btw, I won't give shit about Thor form Pirate Software, I actually see where he is coming from. He's just afraid that in the future he might get a lot of butt work because he is a dev.
However, I highly disagree with his action. The dude has been upfront about his ideology, that he basically says, "You don't know what I am getting through, and I won't let you puppet me to do what I think is best for the gaming industry."

Again, I'm just going to let him be; he's already set his mind on cloud 9 about the initiative. Let's just move on from him, alright. He is happy, and that's that.

Moving on!
Another batch of spring anime has just finished, so I'll be uploading my review soon. Just a warning, so get ready for a barrage of chapters being uploaded.

Then, I have news, my friend.
I became a backer for Necrofugitive. This is my first time doing something like this, and it's nerve-wrecking. Currently, as I write this (July 3rd, 2025), it has reached US$38,105 out of US$50,000 with 518 backers. I'm so thrilled and can't wait to play the game. I'm so excited right now, but nervous too. As a backer, I spent US$50 to fund them. That is equal to IDR800,000, which is almost equal to the cost of a cheap old Motorcycle. That is a huge amount, that's why I'm so nervous right now.

Anyway, that's that. Let's move on.

This is going to be the last one.
Game! I have finished a series of games this week as well as last week. I'm going to review those at a later time, too. So, prepare yourself.

Oh, and also, one last thing.
I will have a new Title for my Novel Blog, it's called...
Deep Dive Analysis - [The Topic]
As a fan of MatPat, I am quite keen on talking or just blabbering about things that I'm passionate about, so there will be a very high chance I will do this title often. I hope you are looking forward to it.

That's it for this week, "A Week Talk", see you next week.
